Bright Star has the BEST vegan food in the Inland Empire! Their prices are fair for the quality and quantity you receive, the food is absolutely delicious, and the staff is courteous and professional. This is my go-to place for an amazing meal anytime I'm in the area. I'll definitely be coming back here!

What a great little unassuming gem! This is a cozy little place inside of a strip mall but don't let the exterior fool you. Great ambience and decor await you inside. The staff is super friendly and super professional. Service was fast and the food was KILLER, really good! Stop by and try it, you won't be disappointed.

This place is the BEST VEGAN FOOD I have ever had and I'm not even vegan my girlfriend is. On top of that they have many healthy and many hearty foods. I've been here at least 7 times. I just went on my birthday on March 18th with my whole family of 6 and all of them loved it. None of them are vegan or vegetarian. The service is good and fast. They're very nice. It also has a homey vibe. It's clean. It's decorated nicely. It seems like they really care about the restaurant and looks family owned to me. They also serve different deserts depending on what they've made for that time. Such as chocolate cake, vanilla ice cream. If you want my recommendation on what to eat I LOVE the Pad Thai dinner or pad thai alone. I get the dinner special however because it is very cheap around 11 dollars. You get Pad Thai, rice, an "eggroll", your choice of "meat", and a salad. The only "problem" I ever had was not knowing what some of the dishes were because they can't have photos for every meal which is understandable. That is a very minor thing and is just nit picking for the quality of food and service I've received here. I'm only stating it because if you're trying here for the first time you might want to google what some of the meals are or ask! The photo uploaded is the orange chicken dinner special. The other photo I forgot the name of what it was :(

I thought tonight I’d take my wife And daughter out to try a new flavor of food, and I choose vegan and while we were at it it might as well be vegan.. So, we picked “The Bright Star Tai Restaurant” at 9819 Foothill Blvd S. Rancho Cucamonga Ca 91730 We were seating quickly, but we sat there in our booth for about 15 minutes and NEVER RECEIVED HELP!!! The service WAS THE WORST I’VE EXPERIENCED In many years..... This place needs to sharpen it’s customer service skills...

We ordered the Pad Thai, but there was a plastic or cleaning formula flavor in the noodles. Definitely not normal, I gave it to my sisters to try and they tasted it too. We could not eat it. I called to complain and the manager, Owen, refused to issue a refund for the bad food and inconvenience. They suggested I save the bad Pad Thai and bring it in for a new order or restaurant credit next time I go there. This restaurant is 45 minutes away from home so couldn’t drive back to exchange. Wasn’t worth it. Longtime customer, but had a terrible experience and I had to share my thoughts. Honestly, this makes me not want to support this restaurant any longer.

Finding a good vegan or vegetarian restaurant is like finding blue colored needles in a stack of hay !! Bright star, being true to it's name is a really great place with a lot of options and great quality food. The mint noodles was a unique and amazing preparation !! Great place !!

We love this place!! The food here is amazing! The portions are great, we always leave with leftovers. We’ve tried the pad Thai, spring rolls(w/ chicken), Thai fried rice, red curry(w/ beef), and the lunch special orange chicken. Everything was sooo good and the service is just as great. We will always come here when we are in the area. They used to have this AMAZING chocolate cake too but I haven’t seen it on the menu in a while :(

Love their Thai ice tea.i ordered their orange chicken lunch special and it tastes great.my sister ordered their pineapple chicken fried rice with no curry or raisins and I loved the taste. We ordered the spring rolls and I loved them. Overall it a great vegan restaurant. For 2 people I spent $30 I believe.

What a great find. Not the most authentic of Thai food as it has a mix of Asian cuisines. Had a yellow curry “chicken” lunch special which was a lot of food including a dumpling, a salad, soup and brown rice. I went overboard and ordered the Brightstar rolls which were a lot of food by themselves. It’s a small restaurant with adequate seating and clean bathrooms. Definitely will return!

I came here for a lunch date with my bf and we tried their pineapple fried rice (we had a big breakfast and weren't too hungry). It was delicious! The crispy fried chikn on top was perfect and the rice was really flavorful. We should probably try more stuff next time. But for what it's worth, this place has yummy vegan pineapple fried rice :)

I Was so excited to try this place. I Tried the pad thai.. *sigh* such a let down.. No veggies, No flavor. I ordered to go. If I would have ate there. I would have sent it back and asked for my money back it was so bad. Save your money!

This place has a great menu with tons of veggie options for everyone. I decided to go with the usual Soy Chicken Fried Rice and an iced Thai tea. The rice was too oily for my taste. But the flavor was good and it was a good portion as well. The Thai Tea was very good, considering it's a Soy based That Tea, it's probably the best one I've tried so far. Service was average. And the overall atmosphere in the restaurant was good. All in all, I'd come me back but there are better places nearby.

Good taste but a bit of raw veggies in the curry. Definitely some space for improvement, not sure that was a one time thing for me unfortunately as others gave a high rating. Ambiance is nice and uncommon to other thai restos, this place has an open kitchen which is kinda nice experience. Service was quick. Portion is nice. Free parking available. Service 4/5 Food and quality 3/5 Value for money 3.5/5 Ambiance 4/5

Pretty nice place, chow mein was nice, but the second meal was pretty basic. Servings are little too big, so unless you’re super hungry, I suggest sharing a plate to avoid wasting food. Thai iced tea was way too sweet and even though we were dining in, it came in a plastic cup. Wish it was more environmentally friendly and sustainable in that way, since many people who eat vegan also care for the planet and want to live as waste free as possible.

I am a huge fan of Thai food, but very picky. I also have a family member who is very limited with their diet and she was able to eat here as well. I am happy with the food here, I would recommend it to any vegan who wants something fun to eat. Restaurants can rarely find the perfect balance between healthy and delicious food, but they did it. FIVE STARS!!!

  • 5/5 Arman G. 1 year ago on Google
Fantastic quality! And generous portions! An excellent choice not only for vegans but I think anyone would love the quality and portions of the food here. My daughter got regular chow mein and I got the spicy chow mein and my wife got the Pho soup. Many more choices too. Highly recommend and would come back here again.

Our most favorite Vegan Thai Restaurant! There are so many in Los Angeles but we always love coming back here! Great quality of food and service is fantastic too. Love to see all the food being made fresh in front of you! Highly recommend, our favorites are Chicken Satay, Crispy Chicken, Chowmein and all the Stir Fry's. I don't think you can order a bad dish! Everything is so flavorful and fresh.

The first visit was in 2017. Always excellent food and service! I've never been disappointed. I love the cucumber salad. The mixed vegetables are awesome. These are my favorites. But, everything on the menu is fantastic.

Came here because of my mom is vegetarian, and we have a good time here. First of all, Prices here is not expensive compared to other restaurants. (Based on dinner) Second, service here is excellent and friendly because they gives you good advice about food recommendations. Also, it has a open kitchen so the food here is freshly cooked as well. For the food, Yellow Curry and Pad Thai is favorite so far because it is creamy and not very spicy (Yellow Curry) and Pad Thai are delicious as regular Pad Thai as well. Overall, we as a family will definitely come back because my mom approved it is very good restaurant without putting lots of MSG and it is freshly made as well.

This restaurant is like a treasure in the forest. One of the most flavorful thai vegan food I have tried. I really liked the spicy basil noodles and red curry. And what amazes me is their pricing. In the expensive California they are providing quality vegan food that is delicious at very good prices even cheaper than the non vegan foods. Service and staff is very friendly kind and warm. Ambience is zen

This Thai vegan restaurant deserves five stars for its exceptional culinary experience. The diverse menu offers a delightful array of plant-based dishes, each bursting with authentic Thai flavors. The ambiance is tranquil, providing a perfect setting for a relaxing dining experience. The attentive staff adds to the overall positive impression, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable visit. From the flavorful Tom Yum soup to the delectable Pad Thai, every dish is meticulously crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients. A must-visit for both vegetarians and those seeking a unique and delicious twist on traditional Thai cuisine.

Every time my sister and I have come, the service and atmosphere has been super welcoming and the staff super friendly!! The food is even better, best vegan Thai food we found!!! Love the orange chicken the most but all the salads are super fresh and tasty too. The protein options are really tender and flavorful. And the Thai Tea is yummy too!! Thank you!!!

I’ve been holding off on writing a review here in hopes that the food would improve. We found this over 3 years ago and we’re excited at the fact that we finally found a vegan Thai restaurant. When we first ordered we were so happy that we didn’t really talk about the issue with the food. Once we kept ordering from here it became obvious that things would never get better. What’s the issue with the food you ask? Well, it’s simple. It’s bland. We’ve explored the menu a little but have found items that we considered our “regular” dishes that we would get. Out of everything we’ve tried and each visit we find ourselves in disappointment looking for flavor and it’s just not there. Most of the sauces are plain and super oily or watery. Also, speaking of oil we’ve noticed in the last few times we’ve ordered here the amount of oil used in the dishes that becomes apparent once you see it left over in the takeout dish or in your own plate is gross and ends up making us feel heavy and disgusting afterwards. A lot of the dishes (especially when you order a few things on the menu at once) taste all the same. The best way I can describe flavor of most the dishes here is: sad. This is hard to admit because if you’re vegan you know how hard it is to find a decent vegan place in the Inland Empire (and in general). And when you do find a place you don’t want to think of it anything other than great because you know that if something is not going right with the food that it will be one less vegan restaurant off the already short vegan restaurant list. We ignored it for a long time and kept ordering here in hopes things would get better but realistically, it hasn’t. Also, if you tend to order takeout like we do, it’s very much outdated. It’s slightly frustrating to have to call in your order since they don’t have a website NOR do they have a website with a menu (the only menu I’ve found is of customers who’ve taken photos of the menu but that can be old menus). I’m dumbfounded as to why this isn’t a thing for them during this day and age (it feels like the old school days of having to call in your pizza order — those of you who had to do that know what I mean). I think our time ordering here has come to an end, at least for now. I think both me and my husband realized this after our over $85 dollar order last night and felt the whole order was a waste of money. Perhaps, we’ll give it a try again in the future to see if things have changed but for now we’ll still be on the search for a good Thai or Asian vegan place.

  • 5/5 J J. 6 years ago on Google
Is there a 15 star rating available?? Best Vegan Food Ever! This facility is small and tight. The wait to be seated is about a Nextflix season long and to be brutally honest the parking is scarce too but if I lived closer I would literally crawl, bike or Uber on a llama to eat here! Bright Stars forward thinking and blends of flavors and spices is absolutely mind blowing. Even if you’re not Vegan this is the perfect place for you. We ordered drinks, salads, appetizers, entrees, extra sides and dessert! Don’t judge me! Anyway, Every.Single.Item was not only cooked to perfection but displayed beautifully as well. We have been finding excuses to drive all the way out there just to eat here again. Ooooh and the sauces they use! Out of this world and Please Goodness don’t get me started with the carrot cake slice I took home that was so big yet somehow I was able to inhale it in such a short amount of time. Anyway, my advice to you would be to pre order so you can pick up your food and eat it elsewhere to avoid the wait OR start writing that memoir about your life you told everyone you were “almost done with” while you wait to be seated. Either way, you CAN NOT pass this place up.

Very nice and SMALL delicious Vegan cuisine restaurant. Only reasons why I didn't rate a 5☆ was the size of the restaurant and time waiting to be seated and served but other then that it was a very nice and delicious restaurant.

No outdoor dining available, takeout only. My husband says no. No more eating in the car. By the time we take it home its cold. These people evidently have too much business to care. When I said something about it to young lady who answered phone, she just laughed. Hahahaha. Well, u just lost a customer. Big deal.

Completely vegan. Great food. Excellent precautions during COVID-19 pandemic. To-go orders only. Must wear mask to enter to pickup food. Socially distanced waiting line outside to place order, or you can call order in ahead and pay by credit card over phone for quick pickup.
