This review relates to an incident taking place back in October of last year (2022). At the time of this incident, I was already feeling iffy about continuing to visit this gym because it was usually packed during my visits. Anyways, I usually left my belongings in one of their typical lockers and secured (?) the locker using my personal combo padlock. My belongings included my backpack, my wallet and my work clothes. This one night, I was only in the gym for 45 minutes. When I had returned to the locker room, I had found that the locker I had been using was inexplicably broken into. My backpack and wallet were taken with my work clothes being the only items left behind. Apparently, my combo padlock had been removed by bolt cutters (I found the busted padlock thrown away in a separate unused locker). I went down to the front desk immediately afterwards. The desk personnel simply took down my name, number, list of contents stolen and asked me to call the manager next day. They had informed me that CCTV footage would be able to be reviewed without the presence of a police report or a police officer. It took me an entire week to get a hold of a manager. The manager relayed the instruction that CCTV would not reviewed without the presence of a police report or a police officer. I filed a police report online a day after my stuff was stolen. The report had been barely approved back in December of 2022. Once it was approved, I printed a copy of it and left it with the member of the front desk along with a letter. I have no idea who took my stuff or how they broke my lock but the gym staff really shocked me with how they handled the situation. I have not been contacted by gym management since the report was handed over to them. As far as I am concerned, this issue is never going to be resolved in the proper way. Note to all current visitors: When putting your valuables in one of the gyms lockers, mind your surroundings. I'm pretty sure some a$%#*!^ was watching me while I placed my stuff in the locker.

This gym is big and has a bunch of equipment. The problem here is 1. Weights are literally everywhere. Never organized. Never put back. 2. Restrooms are always out of service. I don’t think the stalls in the men’s restroom has worked since last year 2021. 3. The staff is friendly. Im sure they have good intentions and want to promote a good environment but most of the time they look depressed or angry. I personally am A friendly guy and try to always smile and say hi. I understand it’s not required for people to do it back but it really makes it hard to want to be here. 4. I cant name 1 time where I’ve seen staff walk around and want to make the gym a better environment

I've been coming here for almost a year now. It's an ok gym. Most equipments are not very clean and some are broken. I don't mind it because I just come to work out and it's the nearest gym to my place. However, I'm very disappointed by the customer service/assistance that I received today after my bike was stolen in their bike-designated area which is literally next to the gym front door. Not only the staff and security failed to patrol the areas, they refused to show camera footage and wouldn't assist me on how to report this issue. I'm writing this so other bikers can be aware of this location because they will do nothing but telling you to call the cop.

I like this gym for Its location. I also like it has 2 floors which offers more equipment options. Since I don't do much weights I don't find myself waiting for equipment use. I often use the upstairs exercise machines, plus the open wooden floors area. Usually the upstairs one has less people. I frequent the sauna which sometimes gets packed. There is a paid parking structure, but I prefer to park in the street. Overall pretty good experience for me.

06-21-22. I got the 3 day pass online that the website advertises, I told my friend to get the free pass too so we could test it. ( we’re looking for a new gym since ours closed) around 8:08 pm the guy working there with curly- nest alike black hair, skinny , and brightening personality was completely uninterested to help me and my friend once they knew we had the pass. He made us wait just tell us that the manager was not there and that we have to come next day. ( there are three people working there ) which place leaves unattended its service without supervision) He said the manager would be there until next day at 11 am. Is this how you try to advertise your gym and turn future customers away? How am I supposed to know if I want to work out there if I’m being immediately sent away from the pass 24hours fitness told me I could use? There was not warning saying “ if the manager is not there , you will not get admitted “ or even warning what time they suggested to come to make use of the pass. I read the reviews about how filthy the bathrooms and place is but now I have a second reason to keep looking a different gym. If anything helps, I have been lifting for 3 years until my gym closed.

I really would love to give this gym 5 stars or even 4 stars for that matter but it’s just too filthy! I take 1 star away for how dirty it is, just walking in the gym walk up the stairs and notice how dirty stairs are, don’t drop anything on floor , every wall corner covered in dust and hair, it also smells like mildew around free weights, I take another star for broken equipment when it’s already limited, only good thing is location and bench press. Not many 5lb, 10lb weights most are 45 or 25plates . Also gym weight and equipment is like 20yrs old Notes to management if you want this gym to be special cater to the gym goers. Keep stairs clean, keep weights in order, add Odor neutralizers, actually deep vacuum floors regularly not just sweeping certain spots, for how much money they make on memberships the cleaning crew should be bigger and clean floors better but I guess they don’t care . They just pickup paper but no dust or dirt

Has most everything you’d hope for in a 24 hour fitness, but lacks space. Parking is easy if you go first thing in the morning. The staff is friendly. I’m very pleased with how they’ve handled cleanliness and safety around coronavirus. You have to sign up before they hit capacity, check-in by showing your appointment confirmation, and always have a mask on. The locker room and showers are unavailable but the bathroom is open. They only allow customers in for one hour at a time, have all customers leave, and the clean for 30 minutes before letting the next group of customers in. I’ve been a 24 hour customer for five years, have used a dozen gyms across the country, and have no plans to change.

Beware: You have to pay $2 for parking every time with validation which is good up to 2 hours. Anything beyond that you pay a flat fee of $18. Showers are grimey. Always make sure you clean the equipment before and after each. Edit: after having my membership for a month I got my wallet stolen in the Locker room despite being locked up. I haven’t gone back and am going to cancel my membership

3 stars is generous for this gym. The pros about this gym is the location (near home), each locker room has a sauna (men & womens), the AC was nice and that’s it. The gym is very dirty, extremely dirty. There was a cleaning lady doing the best she could with what she had to clean up but sadly it wasn’t enough. She needs help and better supplies. She was mopping the sauna with dirty mop water from outside. There’s tons of dirt and hair on the floors especially in the group exercise space. The gym equipment is ok but could use updating. There’s no parking on weekends and street parking is like finding a needle in a sack of hay. The team members could use customer service training. I get it but they could at least fake it while they’re on the clock.

I have been using this place for almost 2 years. But sometimes the staff are unfriendly. I didn't use it, there were dumbbells in front of me, and the male staff got mad at me asking me to put the dumbbells in place. I felt so bad. He said to me, "Did you do this? I felt that the staff here were unfriendly by telling me to put it back without asking a question. Phone consultations are also disrespectful.

I’ve been a 24hour member for more than 5 years and this is by far the most careless employee ever. I needed help with the parking and zero help from him. This location is definitely losing money with this person

Trash. Went there at 6 am there’s no parking. You have to park on the street. It’s cold and hella dangerous tent people walking around. If you’re looking for a bad time go here. On top of that parking is limited to 2 hours for $2 or $18 flat if you stay longer. You could try the street but again hobos. Also LA parking enforcement is no joke they’ll hella tow your car away if you stay a minute over. Save yourself the time. Go elsewhere.

Got The flu after coming here this place is disgusting. Hair everywhere. Nothing is wiped down. There were not even any paper towels to wipe stuff even if I wanted to. Horrible!!! I tried the free trial with my friend. I have a membership at planet fitness, much better and cleaned.

I came tonight and went there to ask about gym membership and parking facilities l. The front desk girl didn’t even wanted to talk to me! She was sitting in the chair crossing the legs! I was asking her questions, she wasn’t even trying to listen or show any respect. She was talking very rude and was very unhelpful! Thought I would buy membership there since I’ve just moved to LA, but I guess no more. Other gym much better.

Nice but small compare to other locations. I originally got a membership on a month to month basis, when I try to switch to a year plan the one guy who is always at the front forgot his name stated he couldn't help me due to only Managers have access . One day another employee was there and help me out with no problem. Some staff are great others are not. Plus parking is impossible.

Tristin or tristan was horrible. Wanted to start a membership here. With 3 4 people waiting in line after purchasing a water, i asked if i could see the gym. Without explaining what self tour in gym because there are 4 5 people in line he did not communicate at all..after he comes to me and says i have to leave because self tour in gym doesnt mean working out and tells me I have to leave very rudely. HE DID NOT explain at all. 0 communication on what i cant do and what i can. No communication and then tells me to leave when I had 24 fitness membership before and was gonna renew it here. But Tristin did was horrible.

Worst location I’ve been to so far. Layout makes absolutely no sense, locker rooms aren’t handicap accessible whatsoever, not to mention they’re filthy, staff if not present at the front desk, home made signs everywhere with misspelling and terrible handwriting making the gym look cheap and like we’re on the streets looking at graffiti, machines are places irresponsibly close and there is little to no walking path for people to use and there are many more issues. At least it’s open 24 hours I guess. That’s the only reason I gave two stars. I’m standing here now and it smells terrible.

POOR MANAGEMENT! The leg press it's been broken for over a month. For a busy gym like this is just ridiculous to have a broken machine this long. They just post a new estimate time for repair every time.. .

I’m giving this gym no stars, I gave it one because the review wouldn’t let me post without rating it. But the rate is zero I would never recommend visiting this gym. This is the nastiest gym I have ever been to! All their bathrooms are disgustingly dirty. I went to this gym two days in a row because it was the closest to me. But they don’t play any music until their so called Manager gets there so that means it’s just completely dead all u hear is breathing and weights dropping! No motivation at all! On top of that it smells so bad in that gym upstairs I don’t know what it is but they might need to get it checked out! To be a member of 24hr fitness for over 15 yrs I’ve very displeased.

I was trying this place out with a guest pass because my work is nearby. The person who was checking me in said that the pass is not valid because I don't live 5 miles near the gym, but I had other locations accept them in the past. Several areas have very poor ventilation to where it becomes a sauna and really smelly like a hobo died there. The condition of some of the machines are questionable. I even had membership services attempt to contact me several times, but never left a voice mail or message. So I thought it was spam until I called the number. The only reason why it's 2 stars is because some of the gym goers are pretty cool.

These poor, poor, sad and angry front desk associates make working out such a sad experience. Update: adding one star for the absolutely LOVELY front desk associate, Diana, who they brought in from another store. She's divine, however it's a major security risk to only have on employee at a club in mid-city. There needs to be a maintenance person and a front desk person at ALL times on the clock. Management at this gym is clearly lacking, but the new front desk associate is the only kind, intelligent, professional employee I've seen at the gym in the almost two years I've worked out here.

Always packed. Have to pay for parking but that’s only if you can make it in and out of the gym/parking garage before 7 pm. The street parking is a nightmare. There’s ALWAYS broken machines, only two squat rack machines that I’ve literally never been able to use. The bathroom/locker rooms are disgusting. Weights are NEVER re racked.

Unfortunately, the gym is in a very bad situation. Bathrooms are always dirty and some are even clogged for months. I’ve never seen a person who is responsible for the cleaning maintenance in the entire gym, I guess they don’t have any. The gym is little for the number of members. It is always crowded (night time is impossible to workout). Second floor stinks and smells like dirty sweat. As a woman, I felt so unsafe and violated. Felt so uncomfortable with some of the male members there (night time was my worst experience, I felt very bad with all the uncomfortable looks the man’s were giving to the girls working out. Honestly, is best to workout at home than paying $30 or more for this.

Nasty gym, equipment is incredibly outdated/constantly broken. No AC even in 35° weather during the Los Angeles summer. Staff is listless and look annoyed whenever having to address customers. Towels are always out and the fact that the second floor is fit into what would've been an office building makes the place feel claustrophobic. Incredibly crowded at all waking hours, as it is the only commercial gym in the area. Only positive is that it is actually open 24 hours (unlike other locations...).

Been coming here on and off since 2018, gym is usually busy with alot of people not knowing anything about gym etiquette and that this is a place where u share and be considerate of others time and workouts, nobody puts weights back and staff usually be all chitchatting at the front without looking after the space. Re registered here after covid when things reopened and again everyday I would see the receptionist signing up new people till it became way over crowded then before covid. Just canceled my membership and will never be returning to this location. Save your time and money and go to your local gym.

A horrible experience, I was a member before the pandemic and its management and staff has changed. I had a problem with a member who was bullying me, and it was never handled appropriately by staff. Melissa who claimed she was a "manager" said she handled the situation and never got back to me, she had an attitude of entitlement and looks disgusted when shaking my hands. It used to be a clean friendly gym but has lost its spark. Bathrooms are clean in the morning and rich and some guy who is training to be a firefighter were the only dependable staff on this team and deserve a raise for raising the bar and always coming into work with a positive attitude. Don't come to this gym if you can't stand rude staff workers and rude members.

The latest in the saga of this unkempt gym was yesterday, when I arrived to find the women's locker room closed. CLOSED! No sign on the front door informing patrons - you just get all the way up there to see the signs on the door. I asked and was told that someone "threw baby oil and powder" all over the locker room, and it was closed until further notice. But strangely, the locker room was just fine; the shower area was taped off, as the damage apparently was in that separate area. So hundreds and hundreds of women were inconvenienced for no reason at all! And paper towel racks on the gym floor were still empty. This gym is one of the worst in the 24 Hour Fitness chain. Not sure why it is allowed to be kept this way.

Disgusting. I’ve been coming here for a few months and noticed it never gets cleaned. Vents, machines, walls are really really dusty. Like never been dusted dusty. Stairway to upper level has a bunch of hair and dirt and paper towels on every step. Prisons are cleaner than this place. Not worth it.

Spacious gym however they've been using moldy paper towels in all the dispensers throughout the gym and its quite disgusting. Don't wipe your face with any of the paper towels. So wiping down all the equipment with moldy paper towels kind of defeats the purpose of cleaning it doesn't it? Very disappointed that the staff has continued to reuse and offer members these. The smell is apparent...the paper towels have been wet, mold grew, and dried. Nice penny pinching on 24 hours part....

They have a few real pull up bars for calisthenics. Only one bar for muscle-ups though. It's downstairs between the squat racks. The 2 pullup bars upstairs are too close to the ceiling to muscle-up. 3 sets of legit dip bars for calisthenics. No push up bars. But overall one of the best gyms in L.A. for pure calisthenics. All the 24 hour fitness gyms are different. a lot of them aren't even 24 hours This. Some close at 11pm! Some close at 10pm! This location is ACTUALLY 24 HOURS. 7 DAYS A WEEK. Gold's downtown on 7th/Fig is great too for pure calisthenics. But the Gold's Hollywood location is bad for calisthenics.

I got scammed literally.... I clearly told the manager when registering here that I would only be staying U.S for three months. However, suddenly after just one month, the unprecedented annual membership fee was deducted from my bank account, and when I complained about it, they said that they thought I was continuing to use the facilities and refused to refund the fee. The annual membership fee is supposed to be paid after one year of registration. Taking money forcefully after just one month under the guise of a membership fee is what I consider a scam. I request prompt action regarding this matter.

Maricela’s bodypump and bodycombat classes are something to be celebrated. Reliable, consistent, light-hearted and always high energy. I have kept my membership with this gym solely to join these classes, which i can always rely on to challenge my body and to keep in shape. I also love seeing the diversity of this class, with the regulars ranging in backgrounds, age and health :) it never fails to put me in a good mood. Thank you to Maricela, and the regular-goers for being positive and inspiring forces to keep on moving! I don’t know all the names of the regulars who usually join Maricela up front, but to those i do, (Mark, Tiffany, Lynette, Justin) we appreciate all of you and your energy very much! The manager Gigi has also been very helpful whenever i’ve needed help with my membership, and has went out of her way to help my partner get his set up as well. It also seems the management is working hard to upgrade the gym’s look, gear and cleanliness these days. We see you, and appreciate you all 💗 I hope the standard of the gym will continue to move towards the better!

I arrived around 10 pm and the gym wasn't too crowded. Some equipment needs to me be repaired, as in the handle grips, but that is just normal wear and tear. Other than it's a great gym, amazing staff and friendly environment.

I chose this gym because it was the closest. Other than that go somewhere else. When you call they’re rude. There’s a lot of homeless that come sit in the sauna wash their clothes and hang it all around the sauna. Paper towels are always empty. Machines are always taken. I hate this place if you can go somewhere else. Me and my friend applied at the same time they gave her a deal with a buddy pass at only 27 a month and gave me a regular membership no buddy pass at 38 a month.

Maricela's bodypump and bodycombat classes are amazing. My girlfriend has brought me here the last three weeks, two times a week (Mon. and Wed.) and its made me feel much better about going to the gym. She is very helpful with beginners, and the class consists of all sorts of people, so its very comfortable. She also has a few helpful regulars that volunteer to make an example, I like Mark during bodycombat! Its motivating to see someone other than her doing the excercises.! 5 stars! :))

I would like to suggest implementing customer service training for Demi. During our recent interaction, she exhibited verbal combative behavior and was dismissive when I attempted to convey the presence of a potential glitch in the system. Despite my frustration, Demi responded with an attitude, prompting me to inquire about her raised voice. It is essential for customer service representatives to empathize with customers, and I believe a more constructive approach would enhance the overall experience. Perhaps, providing representatives with increased access could expedite issue resolution, eliminating the need for escalation to a manager. I propose these improvements to ensure a more positive and efficient customer service environment.

First of all, it’s called 24h fitness and they aren’t open 24h lol. The front desk ppl were rude. The layout is strange and I think they could design the arrangement of machines better. Only 3 squat racks although it’s nice they have 2 Olympic platforms. However, they oddly have a sign that says “no deadlifts” which makes no sense in a gym lol. Pretty crowded but in a busy location. There aren’t many gym options in this area. Much of the equipment is old. This gym doesn’t feel very clean either. In conclusion, many issues here that could be easily fixed but it doesn’t seem to matter to them since people will come anyways.

I am really disappointed to the staff here, bad management, no wipes, dirty restrooms, the studios are like hotel rooms for homeless people during midnight to 5-6am, and they are trying to open the lockers and ofcourse they store their trashes inside the lockers, no one reracks weights and bags are all over the place even though it's not allowed and should be put in the lockers, they don't even clean the sauna, clogged toilets and alot of useless broken equipments, nastiest gym ever, there's cockroaches and bed bugs inside the lockers, that's why no one puts their personal belongings in the lockers, and super crowded with underaged kids during peak hours.

This is the absolute worst 24 hour gym location. They just closed the sauna AGAIN for a THIRD time this year at night for unknown reasons that they won’t at least share with the members that PAY to use these facilities. At least then we’d be informed about whatever is going on. The manager seems to put her ego before the members and what they may need. Some people only have time to work out and sauna later at night. But she has a “I don’t care, figure it out” attitude when asked about it. The employee who staffs at night just sits up front with his headphones on and does nothing about the homeless people sleeping in the locker rooms. This location needs new staff running the facility. Period. Until then I’ll be making the extra drive to the Hollywood or NoHo location.

guys please check elliptical machines regularly. half of them is simply not working correctly or have missing parts. it makes no sense and not safe. i always have to try at least 3 of them before i can find working one and do my cardio. also paper towels are always missing after 11 pm. thank you for considering my review. i hope to see changes and update my score from 1 to 5.

I was told by the man in the front that it’s a $1 to try for the day and if I liked it to come to the front and sign up. If I didn’t like it no worries. I tried to pay with a $1 bill and he said “it needs to...
