The biggest problem is parking your vehicle, the beach is clean and accessible from the parking. Easy access and it is not too hard to find a spot to chill. It is great area to relax after a hard week of work or simply to chill and vibe next to the beach.

Nice beach with good parking. I really enjoy walking this beach. Cross the PCH inside the neighborhood to find more great views and beautiful side streets to wander. Its fun to just sit and watch the people, the hoverboarders, the aggressive seagulls, the waves, the pets, and even the traffic with a parade of those fancy, elite automobiles 🚘 get outside and take a walk

It was a beautiful beach. My husband and I celebrated our third wedding anniversary here. We were captivated by the breathtaking scenery. It was the ideal location for soaking up those sunshine and unwinding to the fullest. Strongly advised!

Super nice and out of the way. Not too crowded at all. Good stop off point if you've got reservations in Malibu.

Great roadside beach park accessible off the southwest end of Temescal Canyon Road and California State Highway #1. This long, thin strip of a beach park is nicely tucked in below the Palisades Hills. Unlike other popular stretches of beach, residential ocean view lookie-loos have less chance of intrusion with public paying visitors. Beach crowds are seemingly dependent on the seasons. Warmer weather will have lifeguards present at the stations watching over swimmers and surfers. Off-season crowds are less often in the colder water, without lifeguards present and more likely here for sand based activities, including beach volleyball. Paved pathways and large parking lots provide space for bicycling, roller skating or skateboarding. There’s public restrooms available, although in the off-season, some may be locked. A restroom and shower facility is located at the south end of the park next to the famous Baywatch Headquaters. I’d suggest asking the parking attendant when entering the park for availability. The downside of the upside, is the togetherness of the parking area with the busy Pacific Coast Highway, aka California State Highway #1. While there’s a continuous separator preventing incursions, the almost constant traffic noise and nosiness of commuters may be too much for some visitors to pay for.

I recently visited Will Rogers State Beach and had a wonderful time! The beach itself is absolutely beautiful, with miles of clean sand and sparkling water. It's the perfect spot to relax and soak up some sun. What I really appreciated about Will Rogers State Beach was how well-maintained it was. The facilities were clean and well-stocked, and there were plenty of trash and recycling bins available. It was clear that the staff takes great pride in keeping the beach clean and inviting for visitors. Another great feature of the beach is the wide range of activities available. From swimming and surfing to volleyball and hiking, there's something for everyone to enjoy. I particularly enjoyed taking a long walk along the beach and admiring the stunning views of the ocean and coastline. Overall, I would highly recommend Will Rogers State Beach to anyone looking for a beautiful and relaxing beach experience. The combination of natural beauty, cleanliness, and diverse activities make it a true gem of Southern California.

My favorite beach for running - usually not too busy and the strand comes very close to the water at times, which is nice

Amazing beach, not too crowded, not too far, and super clean. The waves are pretty calm and the sand is not filled with rocks. Water is not full of seaweed. Plenty of cheap parking, clean bathrooms, and foot rinsing/outside showers that work well and are not ice cold. Lots of trash cans.

Will Rogers State Beach offers a more laid-back alternative to some of the busier LA beaches. The views are beautiful and the water, invigorating. While the facilities like restrooms and parking could use a bit more attention, it's a great spot for sunbathing and beach volleyball. However, it can get crowded on weekends, so if you're looking for solitude, aim for a weekday visit. A worthy beach stop for both locals and tourists. 🌊🏐🌴

Great beach to catch the sun rise or set. Just north of Santa Monica and just south of Malibu, its the perfect quiet place in between. Plenty of bike paths and volleyball courts to get the day going. Excellent beach. Bike rentals close by and paid parking for the day. Street parking along PCH when available.

Great escape from the crowded Venice and Santa Monica beaches. This beach can be reached by bike path or PCH by simply heading north from Santa Monica pier or Santa Monica beach. There are quite a few homeless using the area for permanent residences but they're mostly to themselves. Will Rogers has the best sunsets because it faces the North in som areas and the South in others.

Will Rogers State Beach is a popular destination for beachgoers and outdoor enthusiasts located in Pacific Palisades, California. The beach is known for its beautiful scenic views and its convenient location just a short drive from Los Angeles. It offers a wide variety of activities, including swimming, surfing, fishing, and sunbathing. The beach is also home to a large picnic area, several restaurants, and a playground, making it a great spot for families. However, the beach can get quite crowded during the summer months and parking can be a challenge. Despite this, Will Rogers State Beach remains a top destination for those seeking a fun and relaxing day at the beach. With its scenic beauty, wide range of activities, and family-friendly atmosphere, it is a must-visit for anyone in the Los Angeles area.
