We
rode
the
swan
boats
when
they
first
came
out,
so
much
fun!
They
look
absolutely
beautiful
at
night,
because
each
swan
boat
is
lit
up
as
they
gracefully
trace
their
way
across
the
water.
The
lights
are
reflected
on
the
lake
below.
It
is
truly
lovely!
I
wish
that
Westlake
Park,
otherwise
known
as
McArthur
Park,
would
have
a
similar
revival.
(After
all,
Harrison
Gray
Otis,
founder
of
the
LA
Times,
lived
right
across
the
street
from
it!)
So
much
potential.
Echo
Park
is
also
a
wonderful
place
to
walk
around
or
picnic
in.
The
Movie
βChinatownβ
with
Jack
Nicholson
and
Faye
Dunaway
was
filmed
there.
If
you
donβt
have
a
lot
of
time,
even
driving
around
Echo
Park
on
the
surrounding
streets,
is
a
quick,
relaxing
experience.
