Fantastic food. The chicken satay was amazing. The sauces. I can't wait to go back with any vegan friend.

Casual vegan restaurant with Asian cuisine spanning Thai, Chinese, Japanese and more. Menu is all vegan, and has a lot on it - from fancy sushi rolls, to wings, curries, stir fries, rice bowls, and more. The food we had is what I’d classify as “vegan junk food,” heavily fried and not very healthy, but super tasty. We ordered the hot wings, the orange chicken, and the Tom yum fried rice. The orange chicken was good, sweet and savory. For dessert ordered the mango sticky rice which was 💣, really yummy. Got home and needed a nap 😴 Staff was friendly. Food was good. Definitely wouldn’t be able to eat this sort of food every day but was a nice treat.

I first tried this place via Uber Eats and had to come in person. It is a very cute restaurant and everyone is so nice. They don't have the most seating, but it wasn't too crowded so there was some still available. I love that the whole menu is vegan!! However, there is gluten in a many dishes FYI. They have a vast menu however, so there's definitely something for everyone. I've never been disappointed with anything I've tried and I've ordered delivery from them a lot, so to have it fresh in person was an absolute treat. Please get their orange chicken! You'll be so happy you did.

Ordered delivery via Postmates and was not disappointed! Food arrived earlier than expected, was flavorful with the right amount of spice, and the leftovers warmed up perfectly for lunch today. Highly recommend the pad kee mao if you’re looking for a noodle dish. The mango sticky rice was also delicious!

Absolutely excellent plant-based menu. So many things and you make no mistake by ordering any of it. So delicious and big portions. The shrimp almost made us think if we are really at vegan restaurant! Can't wait to try other things.

The first time I tried out Salaya was during Covid 2021 and they were offering take out only. I remember my experience of the food being Just OK. Well.. couple of years later, I’ve re discovered Salaya and couldn’t be happier! Their dishes really shine and are one of the better Vegan Thai fusion restaurants in town. Veggie Spring Rolls - Love that they add baked tofu inside. Really gives it more oomph than all veggies or even standard uncooked tofu. The sauce is heavier on the coconut side rather than peanut but still delicious either way. Orange Chicken - Soy chicken tossed in the perfect amount of sauce. Sometimes at other restaurants its too much and takes away from the crispness of the soy chicken. Salaya does it well. Pad See Ew or Spicy Garlic Noodles (i forgot which one) - Really great portion, greta variety of veggies and soy protein. Filling and tasty. Great standard noodle dish. Can’t go wrong.

Food was good. The service was quick. We got the ginger turmeric tea, the nuggets, salt and paper shrimp, orange chicken and the spicy fried rice. Everything was super tasty. The spicy rice was actually spicy but it was well balanced with entrees that weren't spicy at all. I'd def go back !!

Such great food and flavor! The pad thai and vegan chicken was so flavorful! My husband got the No animal fries and those tasted like they came straight out of IN N OUT.🤤 This place is a must have for any meat lovers looking to try vegan food

Omg this place is so good! A friend was visiting and wanted to try and I’m so glad we did. The green curry is heart warming and the crispy rice salad is a wonderful vegetarian alternative to the meat version. Cannot wait to explore this menu further.

I'm not vegan but I have friends who are and this is the best vegan restaurant and one of the best Thai restaurants I've ever been to in the US. The corn cakes, salads, crispy fish panang curry are to die for. The staff are extremely kind and polite. They are very honest about the amount of food you will need. My friend and I enjoyed our lunch here and would definitely visit again.

I wish I could have provided a better picture, but this food was so amazing there was no time to waste. The portions are huge, and is by far one of the best plant based spots I've been to get.

I got delivery. Of about $120 worth of stuff. Portions were big & the food was AMAZING! I got two kinds of wings, satay, samosas, spicy fried rice & cashew chicken. All of it was terrific. I have been eating it for 4 days. I will DEFINITELY go back.

My kids discovered Salaya on a trip to LA and have been raving about it ever since. Well, we finally tried it on a recent trip to LA and I have to agree this is some of the best plant based food I've experienced. Their 'chicken' is NOT the typical chewy tofu bits you get at other places, it's wonderfully flavorful and a texture that will make you forget it's plant based. Keep in mind, I LOVE meat, but have been reducing my intake to support the Vegan members of my family.

Menu with so much variety! I got the panang curry with mixed vegetables (you get a choice of protein, but I prefer more veggies in the curry) and it was flavorful. The only bummer is rice doesn't come with it, so you have to buy it separately. The white rice was pretty wet and sticky, so if that's how you like it, you're in luck! I thought it was fine. My spouse got coconut soup and loved it. We tried the no-animal fries (a vegan version based on In N Out's animal fries), and they were tasty, but the taro (instead of potato) made them too sweet. I probably wouldn't get them again. Overall though, quick service, tasty food, lots of plant based options. Would definitely swing by again next time I'm in the area.

Instantly a new favorite! The online ordering and pick up was simple and organized. The food was AMAZING! I had a flavorful meal filled with high quality everything (the sauce, bun, fries, etc.); no detail was overlooked. Also love the story of this place. I will definitely eat here again and bring friends.

This place is so cute! Everything is vegan and so yummy! I also don’t eat gluten. Thankfully, it was so easy to make some things gluten free :) The rolls were super fresh and everything was flavorful! We loved our time here.

Fresh, authentic, legit flavors. My fave is the Kao Mung Gai (Hainanese Chicken with rice). The boat noodles are a pretty good plant-based version too. Loving the Duck noodle soup & the Larb with crispy chicken!!! Yummm What a treat to have found this place! Highly recommended! They also do fusion Japanese too with crispy rice spicy tuna or salmon.

Had to go vegan recently due to health reasons and this place is a godsend. Been taking my non vegan friends to eat here and making their heads spin it's just that good. Some personal favorites are crispy fish curry and the wonton dumpling soup and most recently the spicy chicken wings!

Great food for an evening in! I just wish there would’ve been more peanuts on the Pad Thai, more flavour in the soup and a bit more crust on the crème brûlée. Otherwise, it was perfect 👌

I’ve been vegan for 8 years, I barely enjoyed any Thai vegan places , they are always tasteless or too oily. I’m visiting from Dubai and this is literally THE BEST vegan Thai food EVER! The flavors are insane and the food is cooked perfectly! So crunchy so tasty 💓

Great spot, has all kinds of goodies. I have only been in twice so far, but it's been top quality both times. The orange chicken was great, pad Thai as well, looking forward to trying out more of the menu!

I love having vegan Thai! Their larb and papaya salads are my go to, however, the larb is toooooo salty! It would be so good if they used less salt!

We stopped in for dinner before a birthday party at Jumbo’s Clown Room, and it was a great choice. Very tasty, huge variety of dishes with bold, fresh flavors. Would definitely eat here again!

Another vegetarian gem located in one of those oh so many strip malls in the Hollywood area. The take out business was booming but we ate in. So many menu options to choose from which for a vegetarian is wonderful. Decor is clean but certainly not elegant or luxurious. We were going to the Greek theater that evening and this is very convenient. But really, go for the food I don't think you will be disappointed.

Delicious food and great service. I had the tom yum fried rice, which was delicious. My husband had the Brussels sprouts and the dumpling soup; he recommends them both. We finished with the mango sticky rice; it was the best mango sticky rice we have ever had. Many gluten free options.

A~mazing food! 😋 Authentic... takes me back to Thailand! I almost cried tears of joy! I wished they had this restaurant close to me. I got larb salad & my husband got a noodle dish. They were both excellent.👍 I bet everything is good there!

A great neighborhood gem! This is a very diverse and delicious menu. They have something for everyone. And although it’s mostly vegan, they do offer a few non vegan options. But frankly, you won’t miss anything if you choose a vegan option. The dumplings are the BEST in the city! And don’t forget the vegan sushi!!! The staff and owner are always delightful.

Whaaat! This place is incredible. You have to try the basil chicken and the Tom Yum soup. I can’t believe how delicious everything was. 🤤🤤🤤

Wow! This place was amazing! This is the best Thai food we’ve had in L.A., by far. Every dish was outstanding, and the service was prompt and very friendly. We had the steamed dumplings to start - delicious. Then the Salad Rolls, Papaya Salad, Green Curry Dumplings, Penang Curry and more. My partner and I agreed that each dish was a 10/10. I couldn’t stop to take photos because the food was too good to wait to take a photo! Do yourself a favor and eat or order from Salaya!
