It was my first visit to the Perlman Clinic and I was impressed! I was seen promptly at my appointment time, the staff were friendly and knowledgeable and the needle did not hurt! What more can I say “ The Perlman Clinic is heads and shoulders above the rest “ ! I believe I found my new doctor and medical provider.

I have been seeing Dr. Perlman since 1999. There is a good reason I have been with her for over 20+ years. Simply put she cares about her patients. She listens, provides candid feedback, spends the time to diagnose the issues and provides clear directions on her assessment and treatment. She’s is very good at responding to your queries in a timely manner. She puts her patients at ease and is very none judgmental. Just like her, her staff from the front desk to PAs to other physicians in her practice are very good at their job. I have seen in particular Stephen Caso one of her PAs over the years and he is excellent just like Dr. Perlman at listening and diagnosing your issues and providing a sound plan of action for your treatment. My only issue is I drive 45 minutes to go see her. One day hopefully she will open a practice in San Marcos close to my house. But worth the drive. She is also available on tele-health video. If you can’t drive to one of her locations.

Stephen Caso is the best PA @ Perlman Clinic La Jolla. I trust him implicitly with my care and l have been seeing him for over six years. I had an emergency and my MD was booked so l had to see him instead. l was so satisfied that l stayed with him. It was like a fluke, but l am so happy about that. He is professional, honest , extremely caring and patient. His diagnosis is always spot on. Thanks so very much Stephen.

Dr. Perlman is very nice and caring. She listens to all my issues and questions patiently. I have always felt very nicely treated and we'll taken care of there. I made my husband to make her his PCP too. Highest recommendation.

Dr. Saleh is great, I like his bedside and love the way breaks things down. I’m an RN, I know a good MD when I meet one. Staff in the La Jolla clinic is also really nice.

Perlman Clinic in Downtown La Jolla is an excellent facility for urgent care. The clinic is well-staffed with knowledgeable medical professionals who take time to listen and treat you with warmth and kindness. I will definitely return if I need urgent care.

I love the Perlman Clinic and have been a patient of Dr. Canelo's the past four years. The office is clean and they even have hot tea and cold water for you in the waiting room. They're always expanding their locations and hiring progressive and integrative healthcare specialists. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Monica Perlman and her staff.

Great visit for my wife and I. The follow up for my injuried foot from my fall helpful and reassuring. My wife’s annual exam was done with care and compassion without any hint of rush or disinterest. We are fortunate to have found this clinic and love their staff.

I can't thank Dr. Ali Al Saleh enough for the special, excellent care he has provided. He answered all my questions with confidence and did not order 10 unnecessary tests like other doctors. Dr. Al Saleh made me feel at ease and discussed a clear action plan with me. The scheduling can be done online, very straightforward forward process. I was able to book an appointment within one day as a new patient. The staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend this clinic.

Look, the doctor and staff are great. They are clearly knowledgeable and an appropriate demeanor when handling patients. I had an incident where I needed blood drawn to verify immunization for varicella. At the doctor's recommendation, I went ahead and approved a full physical be performed. Literally everything but the varicella test was done. Yes, the doctor identified some health related risks I am carrying and yes I am grateful. It just sucks when the primary reason you visit is not addressed.

Dr. Canelo, our PCP, is one of the most efficient, caring and smartest doctors we have ever had. He answers all of our questions right-away with confidence. He has a gentle, calming, bedside manner, and always gives us both sides of any medical issue, procedure, or drug so that we can make an informed decision. And when required, he has referred us to exceptional specialist doctors within the UCSD system. We highly recommend him. In fact we are changing our insurance in 2024 (our current carrier is not contracting with UCSD) so that we can continue to see him.

Polite, concerned, personable, always listen, friendly atmosphere, thorough. Today was a follow up visit and yearly health assessment. Dr. Discussed results of blood tests and ran an AI wellness check using those same results. She then gave me all the options for better health in a 10 year Plan. She was very patient when I asked questions. She explained each test result and why a particular option was suggested. It was absolutely the first congenial comfortable visit I have had since using the Medicare plan. Thank you Perlman Clinic for your unbeatable staff. Nothing is left to question. Much appreciated

I was very impressed at how thorough kind and professional they were. They asked a lot of questions and provided a lot of test to specifically identify what my condition wise. I got a lot of information and was treated specifically for my condition. I would highly recommend this clinic to anybody who needs medical assistance. I was also visiting the San Diego area because I live in Arizona. They provided better care and assistance. In any of the places I have visited in Arizona, previously.

I really liked it here. I had to change PCP due to changing insurances and I met with a provider at Perlman Clinic. The PCP I chose was booked out for 3 months and I need some prescription refills and refills to my specialty doctors. I met with Lorraine, NP the next day instead. I was nervous because I have been going to the same provider for so long. But when I stepped into Perlman Clinic I was very comfortable. Every part of the process was so easy. Setting up my PocketDoc and MyChart accounts. Checking in to my appointment. The front desk staff were so nice and so was the Medical Assistant who roomed me. I met with Lorraine and she spent a very good amount of time with me for my visit. She got to know all of my medical history and she was so friendly. She placed my referrals and refilled my prescription without a problem. She even informed me about my free annual visits I can get as well as she explained the process for the mental health and OBGYN services that Perlman Clinic. Let's just say, I am MORE than pleased with my experience. I am very comfortable with Lorraine, NP taking over my care.
