This was supposed to be a conciliatory appointment to redress the past visit with the irritable Yanna? the pregnant technician who took her woes out on me portraying other than the Yelp description. So even with this visit starting 3 minutes early at 1:12 p.m., Marissa? was confused of my services. First clue of trouble was her extreme speed talking and rushed demeanor. She did not apply the eyebrow description of shaping, penciling or shadowing. The same brow/shape I entered with I left with just with a minute underbrow clean up. I had to request repeat tweezing due to missed long visible hairs. She bid me goodbye twice before completing the second service.😳 Later told me she didn't know where shadows, brow pencils etc were, nor did she know if they had any exfoliators. This ended my appointment. Walked to lobby to learn her 1:15 had been waiting. They missed the chance to see products. Why book a 1:15 appt. when you have a 1:30 sharp appointment? Why continually service clients poorly in such an establishment that depends on the patronage of clients? Waiting for b.s generic reply of passing along the reply.🙄. Go elsewhere this location is a joke. One professional at the best here.

Why did I still have to shave after getting waxed? The waxer did a terrible job and didn't let me look before dismissing me. What a waste of time and money. They also don't have a guarantee policy here. I also hate this location's late policy because if you have 1 late appointment but for multiple treatments, it counts as multiple late appointments. After leaving this review, management reached out to me to say that they do have a guarantee policy (that they just don't advertise? So helpful...) but I was out of the time window. I also just don't have time to go twice, especially when the front desk staff is already so rude.

Yanna is a great waxing specialist! I got a Brazilian and she was caring to my sensitive skin. She let me know when she was readjusting. And I love that she is a perfectionist. Now that I have moved, I will miss her. But if you want a clean, precise, thorough wax session from a kind individual, then Yanna is the one!!!

As someone posted, their scan and go back to your car is ridiculous. I showed up early to my appointment. As I was walking back to my car, a homeless man asked If I could purchase a bagel for him next door at Noah's bagel. Of course I would do so, it was raining and the holiday season. I am not insensitive. As I was purchasing the bagel, the receptionist called and said they are ready now, and I need to get there by the 9 minute mark. I entered the store at the 9th minute and the receptionist said it was too late. She was completely dismissive and no help. Even though the day before they had rescheduled my original appointment due to the specialists no longer being able to make it that time for personal reasons. If anyone has a wax pass, I urge them go to another location.

All my past experiences were great, but my most recent visit was a disappointment. First, the staff burned my left underarm, and did not take it seriously when I communicated with her. Two weeks later, I also found my underarms have some ingrown problems, which didn’t happened before.

I usually don't leave reviews, but this one sure deserved one! Yanna did my Brazilian wax today and was soooo good. She was nice, kept me comfortable, & was done pretty quick. Honestly probably the best Brazilian wax service I've gotten (I've been getting waxed for a few months now). Even though her location is a bit of a drive for me, I don't mind because it's well worth it. Absolutely recommending her!

Got waxed by Daisy today! You should too! She's the best. She did my brows and stomach. She was on time and professional. She's knowledgeable but also friendly. She made the whole experience quick and as painless as possible.

Horrible experience!! I went to this location for the first time and the waxer Ali/ Alley was very rude, inexperienced and unprofessional. I was bleeding because the wax was hot and she was not at all gentle! She didn’t even apologize and rather started making excuses. I had to end my service in the middle because I was so scared that she will mess up even more and it was very painful! Also, they have changed their point system apparently and didn’t give me discount even though I had an email saying I have valid rewards. This location sucks!!!

I was so nervous for my first time but Natalie immediately put me at ease! She's always kind and thorough, getting every hair out of there! As a bigger person I had extra concerns but she talked me through everything. Every visit I walk out feeling confident for whatever comes my way. 😈

Always a great experience here. The last few sessions have been with Amy. She is awesome! She gets the job done quick and efficient and she’s always so sweet! Definitely recommend her for further services.

I’ve been coming to EWC for months, however this was my first time with Janelle and I have nothing but praise for her. Her attention to detail was the best I have ever had and it’s the least painful it’s ever been (and I’ve been getting this treatment for 10 years). I am so so happy with the results! I had booked an appointment for a couple hours later, but found myself in the parking lot of the shopping center, so I just popped in to ask if they had availability to get me in any sooner. Samantha sprang into action and said she could take care of me in two minutes. As always, the service was quick, and I was in and out of the shop in a matter of minutes. Friendly and accommodating. Redwood City is my favorite location!

Janelle and the receptionist have been absolutely the best since moving to California permanently. Which is a great thing, because in the past during visit it's was not so good. I absolutely adore Janelle she is truly an asset to the EWC team.

Janelle did an amazing job. I booked a Brazilian wax. This was my first time and surprisingly went pretty good. Not a tremendous anlunt of pain which I was expecting. Part of the reason is she made me feel welcomed. I'm most definitely going to go back in a few weeks. Thank you Janelle.

Amazing! They got me in quick even when I showed up 10 mins early to my appointment. Collene is so so so skilled and did my service so fast and with minimal pain

This was first visit and it was awesome. The atmosphere was pleasant. I had to wait for next available slot and the wait time was decent. My wax turned out beautiful and my clinician professional and friendly. I would definitely recommend this facility.
