The food was delicious. The portions were pretty large also and decently priced. It's the perfect spot for brunch with friends or family. Customer service was great and fast.

This place is great for breakfast whether you are in the mood for savory or sweet. That’s why you should always take a friend or friends, so you can each get something different and SHARE. Best Swedish pancakes/crepes in California. Also recommend the crab omelette, but really, anything on the breakfast menu is awesome. If you go on the weekend by yourself, sit at the counter and be amazed by the teamwork and orchestral movement of all the staff!

Bar tenders great, very knowledgeable, and helpful. Food is ok. I haven't tried much yet save for garlic fries, so more to come.

Large variety on the menu, and portion sizes are large. Daily specials too, so many choices and something for everyone. Dinner with 2 drinks was about $40 per person. I had the blackened salmon eggs Benedict and it was really good, and large enough to share. I was satisfied with half of the portion.

I had the crab melt. It was amazing. My wife tried something off the specials menu. She had the chicken pot pie. She said it was the best one she ever had. Their portions are huge. I should have stopped after half the sandwich .

You will always leave Jack Holders restaurant satisfied! I have been coming to this restaurant for many, many years now and everything from breakfast to lunch, and on into dinner is fantastic. I have recommended Jack Holders to many of my friends and family members and they all agree, this is a great place to eat. One of the things that I especially love is that the food is always consistently cooked perfectly. I am a huge breakfast lover and I always come for the bacon and eggs or the chicken fried steak and eggs. The atmosphere is always enjoyable, and the wait staff is fantastic. We recently moved out of state, but our first stop when we came back to visit was Jack Holders!!!

Nice food, reasonable price. The servers always look too busy, and sometimes it's hard to get their help. One of the best restaurants in the neighberhood though.

This place is a great place to eat. We always go on the weekends, and it's always busy. If you have a smaller party, you can be seated relatively quickly. The service is great and friendly and the food is good too. It gets a little loud in there, but that's not a complaint. Just be ready to hear "What?" Over and over, lol. Overall this place is a very good restaurant.

We went for the 1st time for my wife’s birthday breakfast. I forgot the guys name who helped us but he was very nice and helpful. The food was good too. We’ll definitely be going back. I got the chorizo, my mom and wife got eggs omelette with hash browns and toast, and they even have adult drinks for breakfast!

First, the food, service and atmosphere were AMAZING. First class everything. The food was amazing too. The problem is after I got the check, I noticed the price was $44. I had only $50.15 in my bank account. I gave the waitress (Christina?) the rest of my money for the tip, and she immediately was offended. She didn't say anything, just walked back and slapped my receipt on the table and walked away. Before that she was so nice, and talkative. I am thoroughly offended, and most likely will not return. Shame too - the breakfast was so good.

This place is fantastic for breakfast! They were quick to get us our delicious food. Our server was great and it was a very pleasant experience! I would highly recommend the Keto Scramble too!

Fantastic food! Everything we've ordered here has been super tasty! I loved the quesadilla, berries and cream waffle (had them sub out the french toast), and the pancakes are fluffy and yummy. I had great lunch items too and a lot of people in the restaurant were enjoying their pasta dishes. I hosted a dinner party here before and everything was great! Great staff as well.

My friend and I had a pleasant experience here. The waiter was very attentive and the food was excellent. I had the fish and chips and my friend had the deluxe biscuits and gravy. My fish was nice and crunchy and the fries were good also. My friend thoroughly enjoyed every last bite of the biscuits and gravy. We will be returning!

pros: spacious indoor, outdoor seating, large selection of items, big portions. good presentation. food tasted good. easy parking. cons: outdoor heating was not set individually for each table; it was all or none. either all tables would have heater on, or all have heater off. it was very inconvenient.

Was really looking forward to light and fluffy pancakes but instead they were dense and flat like the batter was over stirred and slightly uncooked, very doughy and hard to cut. I had to request syrup. By the time i got the syrup my pancakes were not hot anymore.. Had heard this place very good. I must have ordered t g e wrong thing. Very disappointed.

We went late afternoon and liked it. A friend and I shared fish and chips and Chinese chicken salad. The salad was very good but the fish was not good at all, just my opinion. We will all go back again to try the rest of their menu. The service was awesome, will put this place in our rotation.

On a lazy Saturday noon we decided to hit Jack Holder's for a much needed brunch and boy we are so proud of the decision we made. Not tough to find a a parking spot and once we got in there we saw guests waiting for a spot for the outside seating though the inside seating options were up for grab. Got seated in comfortably and placed our order. We ordered a chopped Cobb salad, a crab omelette and Nutella pancakes along with coffee for wifey and tea for yours truly. The salad turned out to be amazing though we had just one issue with the omelette and that was the smell of the crab meat ( which is hard to treat ) though we still ate through that as it tasted deliciously awesome. To end it up the Nutella pancakes was the perfect dessert for the noon that went well with the tea and coffee and we couldn't have asked for more. Amazing server, great hosts at the restaurant and awesome vibes just made it for our perfect brunch that we could have asked for. We will definitely be back for more and more!!!

This was our first time dining here. It's covid time and there is outdoor seating. They had a nice setup. Huge fans for cooler air and space between tables. My Mom and Aunt both got a Prawn Pomodoro dish. They enjoyed it... but my mom got burnt garlic bread and my aunt didn't. Their dish came with soup or salad. My aunt got a side salad. My mom got a delicious bowl of posole ( hominy and meat) that soup was so flavorful and tasted authentic. Yum. We all want to go back just for the posole. It was that good. I wonder if it really is only sold as an appetizer on Sundays. It's so good... it should be a main dish. I got a chicken Cobb Salad. Chicken was dry and it did not come with egg, which was disappointing, but salad was still filling, but I feel that salad should be served crisp, fresh and refridgerated. My salad was not. My nephew got a 49er burger. He loved it after they had to cook it again to make it more well done for his liking. Service was OK... on the slower side, we were there for 40 mins before our food was served. After we got served ... it did get quite busy. We got NO refills on our coffee and soda, which was disappointing, but maybe that was a covid thing. Overall, this place served good decent food. It was a bit pricey, as most of the dishes were around 15 to 18 bucks... Just little things could be improved here and there with the food presentation and service. Then, I'd be happy to give them a 5 star rating. Looking forward to going back on a Sunday for that posole again ...and to try more of their good food.

I took my spouse out to breakfast at this place that was a total nightmare!! The bus boy came out or drink order but walked away while I was still talking. When our server came I was grateful that he seemed nicer but was not! He appeared to be nice but I think it was still Halloween because he still had his mask on. The food that we ordered did not come with all the condiments (butter, hot sauce, etc.) or toast, so we had to wait at least 10 minutes without eating the food and let it get colder. We ask one of the bus boys if we had come at a busy time this is because our server never seem to come by. The bus boy told us that we were lucky that we caught them at a slow time. When we were done eating one of the bus boys cleared our table and we sat and waited another 20 minutes for our server to come by and give us the check. We noticed while we were waiting for the our server to come by he was going to everyone else’s table and checking on them and taking orders and giving other people their check. Win I gave them my credit card to pay the bill our server then started going back to other peoples table taking other peoples orders again and giving other people their checks instead of cash in us out. We waited another 10 or 15 minutes and then went to the front and ask them to get our credit card so we can cash out and leave. One of the hostesses at the front went over to our server, Who had now cleaned a table and was carrying dishes to the back, she took the dishes from him so he could finally cash us out. Overall this was a horrible experience and we will not be going back

Hi Jack. Listen it's not you, it's me. I've just been around long enough to appreciate a good diner. This place is not really one of them. Food is meh. Sorry...just is. Interior layout is weird to... Can't explain it, it's just not cozy. I'm sure lot of people like it here, it's just not for me.... But after 2 local lunch spots were closed for staff shortages, I took my work group here.... And we ate. Unremarkable.

It's a high-end, modern-style "American Diner". Everything on the menu looks REALLY good. Get the Steak Salad with Blue Cheese - it's good! I will return to try something else. Their hamburgers look amazing. Friendly and clean. Bathroom is clean and modern. They serve beer & wine.
