I like the vibe of this place. They have healthy options and, as someone lactose intolerant, I’m glad I can finally try crepes. It seems like a nice place to get some work done on the wifi. I enjoyed the tofu scramble and it came with a lemony lentil soup which was a great combo. Filling and lots of vegan protein. Will get again. I had the simple pleasure crepe w/ bananas and vegan butter. It was tasty. Lots of sugar and I liked how full it made me feel. Could be addictive. I had the apple crepe, and I wasn’t a huge fan. Maybe the sugar to fat ratio leaned too heavily towards sugar. It wasn’t terrible or great, but for something with that much sugar I’d hope for a great taste.

Crepes Bistro is a terrific spot to satisfy your crepe cravings, both sweet and savory. I got the royal vegetable crepe and true to its name I really felt like royalty eating such a delectable crepe! The portion and filling of vegetables and cheese is definitely plenty and shareable between two people (I took the leftovers home). The cheese had me going "CHEESUS!" so I'd recommend asking for light on the cheese. My friend got the special crepe which he enjoyed too. I also got the very berry smoothie which was fantastic and well worth the money for the large. There's a fair amount of street parking and plenty of seating inside with a pleasant ambience. We got our food in less than 10 minutes. I highly recommend this place!

The crepes were wonderful! The sweet Nutella / banana crepe was perfectly sweet and not overpowering at all. Definitely going back here!

This place has a homely vibe, owners are really amazing, customer service is 110percent awesome , being a introvert didn’t ever talk to owners but I feel it’s a family owned business that’s why they make our experience more homely, they never disappoint with best crepes in Bay Area. I have been going to this place since 2016. My favorite is avacado crepe, and sweet works ....also the one of each savory& sweet crepe is enough for two people. They have other options too for the sides and salads and smoothies .....feel free to try them all you will never be disappointed.

Great place for vegetarian crepes (has breakfast options all day long), can be customized to vegan and gluten free options. We ordered a veggie bagel sandwich along with the strawberry banana Nutella crepe (still drooling thinking about it).. both were delicious. The place was hygienic with plenty precautions for COVID-19( including using take out containers/paper plates for serving dine in customers), dine in/take out both available, staff is very accommodating and friendly. We will go again to try savory crepes next time.

What a fantastic meal! I ordered the special deluxe vegan crepe and it was so flavorful and filling. The owner was friendly and kind to me and everyone who walked through the door. I also indulged in a cinnamon cake that was a soft and warm finish to the meal. I’ll definitely be back and only wish I could have tried more items!

Picture was taken over halfway though eating for portion size reference. Great crepes, very solid coffee, and the other options like pasta, bowls, and salad are yummy as well. Portions are large, and almost the entire menu can be made vegan, even if not explicitly stated. Staff was very knowledgeable about the menu. Will be coming back whenever I am in the area.

The place may be small but there are enough seats, this place isn't that crowded and the atmosphere is nice. The menu has also been updated so they don't serve the Borstch anymore, and haven't for 3 years, so a lot of reviews are out of date. There are a lot of vegan and vegetarian options, that's basically this places entire theme so don't worry about dietary restrictions. And this place might seem a bit expensive but it serves big portions, i also recommend the sweet crepes! Altho the chai latte is honestly awful, it's very watery and doesn't taste good, and it's served really hot which i personally don't like.

Best crepe place in Bay Area! And they’re vegetarian too! Amazing food and service. They have smoothie and açaí bowls too, all are delicious! If you’re tired of crepevine greasy crepes, come and try the food here. Crepes bistro never disappoints!

Highly recommend this place for kids. I ordered sweet works and fresh apple juice for my 9 year old. He took the first bite and said it tastes like heaven😅 he loved every bit of it. Portions are generous. We packed the leftovers to enjoy later. I ordered special crepe(savory) and cappuccino. It's just cheese with spinach. Wouldn't recommend. This place is pricey. About 45$ plus tip for party of 2. They served in plastic. Not eco friendly. Small place with indoor and outdoor seating. Gets crowded during weekends and peak hours.

It’s highly rated restaurant and I have been eyeing on this one for quite sometime now, and I finally visited. Butttt, I guess I had set my expectations veryyy high, so I was not throughly impressed by their food. It has good ambience and nice cozy set up for hanging out with friends. Food is not bad, just not amazing, as I expected! You may wanna visit once to experience it yourself!

Such delicious Crepes!! 😊 I’ve never had a good experience with savory crepes and this place fixed that for me! I tried the Italian crepe without the Mozzarella - the veggies were fresh! It was delectable! My friend tried the special - both of us loved our crepes! It was rather large though! One crepe plate can be shared between two people. So, we had to take the rest of our crepes to go. I love the interiors - all the photos adorning the walls and the mural! 🙂 The service here is superb! They’re vegan-friendly and accommodating to dietary limitations that people may have. If you’re in San Jose, definitely check it out!

This place may be vegetarian.. but they still believe in plenty :D The royal crepe was delicious, and way too big. I switched to gluten-free, but was kind of shocked it came out to $21. I kind of wish it could be half the size and a bit cheaper. Will come back to try a sweet crepe

Delicious vegan crepes! Sadly not eco friendly 😕 All of their crepe batters are vegan which is very rare. Little pricey, but worth it! Wide selection of options and lot of tasty toppings. Only disappointment was the lack of eco-friendly plating. I dined in and was still served on a paper plate and given a paper cup.

Decent spot for a vegan brunch! All their crepe batters are vegan, and they are happy to help remove dairy toppings. I ordered the French Affection without whipped cream, as well as a mint lemonade. The crepes were good, but a tad on the sweet side, as was the lemonade. In summary, I’d visit again! One suggestion would be to clearly label vegan items on the menu (and/or items that can be made vegan)- it’d save everyone time at the register 😄

I’ve been Vegan for 11 years and I’m super impressed not only with the options and quality, but the array of flavors as well. Such GOOD VEGAN FOOD and AMAZING owner! He’s just fabulous and so kind. My go-to’s — vegan royal veggie crepe — vegan sweet works crepe — tofu scramble — beet and arugula salad — lentil soup

First time at this spot right before they were about to close. Ordered the Royal Veggie (savory) & French Affection (sweet). Bring on your appetite for something savory cuz the portions are huge. And the sweet one, the perfect amount of sweetness with their vegan house made sauces. 😋 Happy Eating! "High on Food. High on Life." -thefoodhigh Check out more reviews and local spots @thefoodhigh on Instagram & yelp.

We had three items: 1. Ginger shot 2. French affection with strawberry 3. Vegetable crepe 4. Patties Number 1-3 were good, slightly dry but edible. The patties were extremely dry and hard to swallow.

Enormous portions of the most flavorful savory and sweat crepes. Inside and outdoor seating. Vegans gonna love this.

Got what I ordered. Bowl was good, taste may not be for everyone. Crepe was fine too, not the best but fine. Apple cinnamon filling was tasty. No one item would be filling.

I got quinoa power ball. That was yummy. I love this place food. There buckwheat crepe is tasty as well. This is a vegan place where I can get gluten free as well.

It’s a small cafe perfect for a Sunday brunch. They have good menu options and as the name suggests variety of crepes. We ordered a sweet crepe and a regular veggie crepe

  • 3/5 Snigdha A. 5 months ago on Google
Pros: 1. Very friendly and lovely staff, who even went ahead and gave us a complimentary ice cream sccop on our sweet works crepe. 2. The portion sizes were amazing 3. Good amount of filling in all crepes 4. Very heartwarming lentil soup Cons: 1. No fancy cutlery or plates considering the high prices 2. The crepe batter was not as good as I've had in other places. 3. Flavor wise, the royal veggie crepe is way too mushroom heavy, the super and super deluxe crepes were okay, and nothing exceptional. The sweet works crepe was really nice, again the crepe texture could have been softer.
