Came here on a Sunday afternoon and really liked the staff here - super kind people and the seating was ample! Good: I like how there are outlets and fast wifi here! There's also a lot of owners with dogs that frequent this location which is nice to watch as you eat. The sesame bagel was amazing though! Super tasty with the scallion cream cheese. Would recommend that combo. Bad: I wasn't a fan of the cream beige coffee drink they had - they described it as a milkshake but with the expresso, it was a bit too bitter for me and I had to toss out half of it.

Very cool coffee joint...hee hee. But truly a great place for coffee and simple and light food. The ‘americano’ is spot on with the right flavor and aroma. I dig the interior with blend of white walls, natural geometric wooden counter, and blends of industrial metal chairs/furniture. Looking forward to my next visit soon. I wish my neighborhood had a nice coffee place like cat n cloud 2) good pour over, fast friendly peps. Nice coffee for foggy am 3) ice coffee with a slice of banana bread. Smooth coffee flavor and I’m starting to feel the zing... buzz

Excellence in every way! Top tier beans to make wonderful drinks, delicious avocado toast, and always a pleasure to talk with staff. Cat & Cloud coffee is my favorite coffee house in the whole greater Bay Area! Will continue to keep coming back!

Been twice now, consistently excellent and friendly service and great coffee. Very good prices. Parking can be very limited, usually have to park a few blocks away and walk over and lines are long once you arrive. Chocolate croissant (when available) is very fresh. Recommended.

Really cute and friendly spot to hang out and have a tasty coffee. Excellent dog watching here 🤗 lots of pup cups being enjoyed. Would love to come back again.

Coffee is fantastic and cute place, but they played *solely* Justin Bieber songs the entire time. I don't even hate the guy but after a full hour it was just too much.

Love this cafe. I stop by whenever I’m in the area, so maybe once or twice a month. Staff is super friendly and kind, the coffee is delicious. I did walk into the large window, spilling coffee all over myself and making a huge mess but they were cool and gave me a replacement drink. 10/10. Will be back again, but I am avoiding that window.

I have been scouring the entire Santa Cruz and Capitola Area in search of good coffee shop. I have tried many and none of them really were anything to call home about. Today on one of our daily strolls we saw this place and decided to try it out. This place is so adorbs and the staff are amazing. The place is beautiful and chill and even the music is great. This place is literally a whole vibe and the vanilla dirty chai I ordered was exceptional. 1000/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a chill place to hang out and get a next level coffee and experience.

We have driven by Cat & Cloud several times over the past year and I kept meaning to stop in. Today was the day and I will be back! The baked goods are from Companion Bakeshop on the Westside. The scones were delicious! Both the chai coffee with almond milk and the latte were spot on. The young man who greeted was so polite and pleasant and the barrista was delightful! Got a look at their Avocado Toast. Yes, I know what some of you may be thinking, but I don’t care. I have never tried them before, but I will try them here the next time I am in town! Why is it I keep hearing the old Harry Chapin song, “The Cat’s in the Cradle”? Well here, “The Cat’s in the Cloud” and it is time for coffee!

Santa Cruz has so many coffee shops, you would think what's the point of having another one. This local chain offers a very special ambience and some super cool brews you will only find here! In particular I like their avocado toast and the cold drinks. Nice Santa Cruz merch if you're looking for souvenirs.

Coffee is great, but what truly sets Cat & Cloud apart is the staff. I had a pre convinced notion that It was going to be like my many visits to verve coffee. I was so wrong, better coffee, friendliest staff.

Basically one of the best coffees I've ever had in my life hands down also fantastic customer service atmosphere is absolutely perfect can't wait to visit this place again. Also the artist behind the décor of the facility is amazing and we hope that he sells his artwork here soon that pretty much sums it up

Love their coffee and food! The avocado toast is a good portion. It has arugula/tomatoes that make it feel more like an open faced sandwich than toast. Their grain bowls At the Westside location are also great

Their Chai is super hot when I received and I love it. But the chai tea doesn't leave a long taste as I expect, the aroma is kind of shallow to me. They have free wifi, a lot of outdoor seats, staffs are very friendly, although some of them are too friendly and spent a lot of time to talk to some guests before me and I ended up waiting 16 minutes for my chai tea. The space is adorable and clean.

Nice coffee! The shop is cozy around and good for family time or hanging out with friends.

Good coffee in Pleasure Point. A bit limited on close parking, but since most of the clientele are rich retirees, WFH techies, and stay at home moms who can walk or ride their ebikes, no problem, right? At least they open at 6:30 a.m. for some of those people who still work normal jobs, unlike Verve on 41st Ave.

This place deserves a 10 star review! Incredibly friendly staff who seem genuinely happy to be there. THE BEST COFFEE drinks we had while in the Santa Cruz area for 3 weeks and we drink coffee multiple times a day everyday 😆. Plus delicious pastries and avocado toast! But really… it all comes back to the atmosphere the staff creates and this crew is top notch. Can’t wait to come back!
