The
atmosphere
was
nice,
definitely
a
great
locals
bar,
and
we
could
tell
that
some
thought
was
given
to
most
things.
People
there
seemed
jovial
and
welcoming.
However,
the
service
was
slow,
our
menus
were
faded
from
water
damage
so
we
couldn’t
read
them
easily,
and
honestly
the
drinks
were
just
bad.
I
think
the
atmosphere
would
be
nice
for
a
first
date,
but
you
may
be
commiserating
over
the
bad
drinks.
The
recipes
felt
like
they
were
the
wrong
proportions
of
ingredients
making
them
torture
to
drink
and
for
$14-18
+tip
a
drink
I
would
expect
a
near
perfect
drink.
Nobody
came
by
to
check
and
with
how
long
it
took
to
order,
and
the
effort
involved
in
making
them
(I
mean
they
crushed
ice
by
hand
with
a
mallet
on
the
bar),
I
didn’t
want
to
send
it
back.
Things
were
too
smokey,
over
spiced,
too
bitter,
too
sour,
too
thick..
the
ratios
just
tasted
off.
Also
the
drinking
experience
seemed
off.
I
had
a
whiskey
glass
with
a
nice
cube
of
ice,
but
it
didn’t
make
sense
for
the
drink
I
ordered.
I
had
to
basically
turn
the
cup
90°
to
drink
all
of
it
making
the
ice
cube
fall
on
my
nose.
Not
cute!
I
didn’t
want
to
order
a
straw.
It
just
wasn’t
a
nice
sipable
experience.
I
saw
them
taste
the
drinks
properly
with
good
hygiene
so
I
believe
they
care,
but
the
bartenders
palette
did
not
match
me
and
my
two
friends.
After
trying
four
types
of
drinks
between
my
friends,
I
settled
for
champagne.
I
could
have
gotten
a
better
tasting
bottle
of
champagne
for
$5
at
BevMo..
I’ve
been
to
Michelin
star
restaurants
and
bars
all
over,
so
I
don’t
think
it
was
me,
but
I
could
be
wrong.
Anyways,
we
won’t
be
going
back.
