Totally my fault that I drank too much. They were very quick to tell us to go. Which is something I understand. They made me pay on the spot and the bouncer / waiter was visibly annoyed as if he was doing me a favor. But the sneaky thing was that he added $30 of extra drinks we never ordered on my cheque (I was drunk but don’t have amnesia) and then tagged on 25% service charge without my consent.

I would give a 0 star if I can. The waiter here was really really rude, and don’t come if you don’t want a frustrated Friday night. My friend and I were waited to be seated, and the waiter told us we would be able to seat once there was an empty table. But when there was a table ready, he insisted someone else came first. We were not sure so we asked about it, and then the drama started. He became so angry about the fact we asked that we might came first (we didn’t even argue about it). He asked my friends and I for the photo ID, and even though we showed him, he rolled his eyes, immediately took away our water bottle and pointed us with his fingers saying we were kicked out. The people around us were also shocked. I have never seen someone as rude as he was, and I don’t think any customer should be treated this way.

Upscale, modern and quaint cocktail bar tucked away in downtown Los Altos. Attentive staff, intimate decor with world music playing in the background. Highly recommend for cocktail enthusiasts.

The drinks, staff, and atmosphere are absolutely phenomenal. Atmosphere and interior design are excellently designed. If you’re looking for a pre-dinner lounge or post-dinner hangout, this is the place to be. Perfect for a night with friends or a cozy and romantic date. We will definitely be coming back here.

This has quickly become our favorite spot in the area. Ivan and Beto are amazing behind the bar and the drinks are perfect. The atmosphere is also always so great and the vibe is just right. Can’t wait to go back.

This is a charming bar offers warm and inviting ambiance. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. I was thrilled with the bartender's craftsmanship in creating the drinks. The flavors were harmonious, and each sip was a delightful experience, leaving me craving more.

The cocktails were off the hook. What a great job these bartenders do. Ordered two cocktails off menu and they knew one, and we experimented with another they hadn't heard of...nailed it! Great atmosphere and not too loud indoors.

4.5 About the only bar that actually stays open till 2 in Las Gatos. It's a cocktail bar generally good for med sized groups for dates. Cocktails are good. I've had better and worse at other spots. Generally they were all pretty good tho! If you're in the area wouldn't mind stopping by again

Leo makes drinks on point! I love this place, EXCEPT that they have Wi-Fi but don't provide it for customers. So I was sitting at the bar enjoying my drink, but also couldn't text my friends to tell them to join me. I couldn't even access Internet to write this review! I want to see this place killing it, but it was empty at 8 pm on a Wednesday night. I hope the owner will reconsider because I will re-write this review. Everything about it amazing, but single people should be considered when making a decision to not provide Wi-Fi for cell phone users who aren't lucky enough to have the right data provider.

New bar in Los Altos. Interesting place, has a feel of one of the old style decadent decor bars but the outside is a classic Californian hip upscale bar. I had a couple margaritas, was very well done, unique taste. There were a bunch of whiskey cocktails but had too much already but they looked very interesting. The place is cozy and the surrounding somehow helps you loosen up and bond with friends. Definitely worth a visit; will go back for sure.

Sad. Maybe I'm just not a cool enough patron to be noticed. Visited 2/13/23. Was not greeted or acknowledged in 10 minutes. They were not at all busy. It was cold and the door was propped open. Lighting was extremely faint. It was literally hard to read the menu, a leather wrapped antique looking like it was designed in 1899. Before I left I looked at the two bartenders who had completely ignored me. They hovered around a conversational group three seats away from me. I'm waiting to order a drink and I see one of them is polishing glasses - still no greeting (not even a nod). The other is cleaning a bottle of bitters to put it back on the shelf. No rush in their lives. At that point I decided that I did not wish to be ranked below wiping down the bar equipment. The experience literally reminded be of the old SNL bit about the "A*al Retentive Chief" No more, I'm done with this place.

Just as their website described exquisite libations. Delicious beverages, great ambiance, music was playing and staff were attentive and friendly. The Bartender crafted a delicious beverage of my choice of spirit, Gin. Highly recommend this spot in Los Altos.

When we have guests from out of town, we always add Amandine as a stop for drinks before dinner.

The fat-washed section was not available when we went, but there were some good options nonetheless. They take their drinks and their ice seriously which I appreciate. We arrived at 7pm on Saturday and waited about 15 minutes to be seated for space for 2. By the time we left there were empty tables.

The outdoor section is a terrific spot to meet up downtown. Inside's cool, but can't always find a seat. And the bathroom lottery is always fun.

Stop Googling, you've found the right spot. The mixologist here makes absolutely incredible cocktails! Do not hesitate to check this place out, you will not be disappointed. The vibe is very cool and speakeasy-esque

One of my go-to places for good drinks. Monkey business is my favorite here. Ask the bartender for custom creations with what you are looking for if you need anything out of the menu. The muhammara and pita side is really tasty and complements the drinks well.

A nice pub in downtown area. They are open till late as compared to other bars in the area, especially during weekdays. We ordered a few whisky based cocktails, scotch and bourbons. It was fun to sit outside with fire warmers. It was fun.

I recently visited Amandine, and it was an exceptional night out. The ambiance is captivating, the cocktails are exquisite. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, making it a must-visit for a memorable evening. Highly recommended!

Amazing little spot, not crowded at all, great service, excellent drinks and snacks. The bourbon sour and charcuterie plate were exceptional. Service was always present, without getting in your face. Beautiful outdoor seating that I appreciated as well. Amandine personifies the charm of Los Altos, all the pros of town, without the crowds, the coldness or the impersonal service. Love it.

No Monkey Business here - beside their personal recipe with Bourbon - they serve you serious cocktails. People huddle at the counter for their batched Black Manhattan, but I like to venture throughout their menu or ask for a surprise. I'd recommend their Night in Oaxaca for a herbal twist on Mezcal. Knowledgeable and friendly mixologists although you might have to "break the ice".

Neat little spot in Los Altos with friendly staff. Decor makes you feel you are in an old world bar. Maybe not a great place for a quiet drink on your own but a great place to meet friends.

The first go out after 3 months of COVID. A strange experience, but the place handled it amazingly. Sitting outside, friendly service

  • 4/5 Anirudh M. 4 years ago on Google
Great place for cocktails, snacks are on the average side and a little overpriced in my opinion. Their gin and whisky cocktails are great and all the staff are really helpful with suggestions and the bartender's make custom cocktails based on your taste. 2 drinks a person and very light snacks was about $50 a head.

If you could not find a drink that is on the menu, the bartender will be your best friend. Best cocktail bar in south bay. They make the drinks with passion.

  • 5/5 Mario B. 4 years ago on Google
Very good cocktails, done with a lot of care. The menu is a bit limited, but the bartenders are very good at creating drinks in the spot if you describe what you are looking for. They have good mezcal cocktails. The ambience is very nice and comfortable, with soft lights.

I have been looking for a casual yet modern spot to grab drinks and this place has it all. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, a mix of traditional and modern cocktails, a solid wine and beer list in a cozy atmosphere.

  • 5/5 Naomi Y. 2 years ago on Google
The ambiance is dark and cozy. Great place for excellent cocktails and to hide away from large crowds, to catch up with old friends. The play the music at a good volume where you don’t feel like you need to yell across the bar or table to be heard.

The atmosphere was nice, definitely a great locals bar, and we could tell that some thought was given to most things. People there seemed jovial and welcoming. However, the service was slow, our menus were faded from water damage so we couldn’t read them easily, and honestly the drinks were just bad. I think the atmosphere would be nice for a first date, but you may be commiserating over the bad drinks. The recipes felt like they were the wrong proportions of ingredients making them torture to drink and for $14-18 +tip a drink I would expect a near perfect drink. Nobody came by to check and with how long it took to order, and the effort involved in making them (I mean they crushed ice by hand with a mallet on the bar), I didn’t want to send it back. Things were too smokey, over spiced, too bitter, too sour, too thick.. the ratios just tasted off. Also the drinking experience seemed off. I had a whiskey glass with a nice cube of ice, but it didn’t make sense for the drink I ordered. I had to basically turn the cup 90° to drink all of it making the ice cube fall on my nose. Not cute! I didn’t want to order a straw. It just wasn’t a nice sipable experience. I saw them taste the drinks properly with good hygiene so I believe they care, but the bartenders palette did not match me and my two friends. After trying four types of drinks between my friends, I settled for champagne. I could have gotten a better tasting bottle of champagne for $5 at BevMo.. I’ve been to Michelin star restaurants and bars all over, so I don’t think it was me, but I could be wrong. Anyways, we won’t be going back.

Best bar I've ever been to. It gets busy fast though. Tonight it was full enough we had to find somewhere else.
