My partner and I had seen the stellar reviews for this restaurant and decided to go out for a nice dinner. Everything started out well but tapered off promptly. The downfall happened to be the service, unfortunately. It was about 20-30 minutes after being seated before finally getting water and the first portion of our order taken, which included the wine flight and baked Brie. The presentation of the appetizer was great and it tasted quite delicious. The wines were also quite good but the wine we wanted for dinner they had run out of, which was a shame as we were also looking to take a bottle with us. A while later, after flagging someone down, our dinner order was taken. The food came out promptly, and so that was a nice change to how slowly things were moving previously. I had ordered the pecan crusted chicken with vegetables and I was not disappointed. She had ordered the spicy seafood carbonara, which was also delicious and a sizable proportion. The service then turned again and it wasn’t until we flagged someone down about 40 minutes later to get our bill so we could head out. The night was a little busier earlier on but had wound down so the slow service and lack of water/wine refills felt a bit inexcusable. The level of staff for the number of occupied tables appeared to be adequate and so it seemed peculiar that it was the case with how service was sluggish. Overall, the food is fantastic but the lengthy waits and needing to flag someone down to get service brought the experience down. Hopefully this turns around to make this a phenomenal restaurant, we’d love to give them another visit if in Albuquerque again.

I love this restaurant. Always treated so well and Trina did a nice job as our server. A complimentary taste of wine with bread and sample of appetizers was more than generous and delicious. Loved the pot roast and wine. We will be returning.

Came here to have a late lunch and was greeted immediately by the host. The inside decor was very nice and included a wine bar near the front entrance. Upon being seated we were offered a wine sampling by the waiter along with bread and herb butter. Because I was eating late my party and I split an appetizer and an entree salad. Everything tasted wonderful (the steak was cooked perfectly) and our waiter was so attentive. I definitely will come back for dinner and dessert and to try some of the wine pairings. Edit: Came back to treat my parents to a nice dinner back in Dec 2023. It was pretty busy but we also made reservations so it wasn't too long of a wait. The food and service was impeccable and it was just an all around nice and bustling ambiance during the holidays. A favorite for my family and I.

First time here since the name change, from St Clair, so a while. Same family. Friends invited us to live music. The music was great. We sat on the patio. When we called, the staff said we didn't need reservations, when we arrived staff asked if we had reservations, luckily we got a nice patio seat, just funny. Plenty of food options and they pair the food with a suggested house wine. Interestingly enough most dishes are paired with their Pinot, which tonight, they were out of..... Food was excellent. From the appetizers to main dishes. Definitely coming back and would recommend.

It was my first time and it did NOT disappoint! I really enjoyed the custom flight which included the Cab-Sangio, 6-3-1 Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and apinot Noir (left to right). The ribeye was a little fatty for my taste, but still pretty good complemented with the mashed potatoes and the veggies medley. The atmosphere was very quaint, if it wasn't so windy I would have enjoyed the outdoor patio area. I will definitely have to come back.

Delicious good and excellent service. The Nosh board is so worth it and big in size for the price. The spicy chocolate on there is the best! The new bacon wrapped figs were crispy, salty and sweet. Everything felt priced accurately for the value and quality of the food. And the wines were great - our server was so helpful in pairing. Can't wait to go back!

I am almost afraid to post this review for fear of how good this place is and the crowds finding out, but they earned it! Not too snooty, like Los Campos, but not to run of the mill, like Chilis. The environment was perfect for a date night. The meatloaf was listed as “best” or “recommended”for a reason. The green beans were juicy and seasoned perfectly. The mash potatoes were fluffy, creamy and delicious, and the mango chipotle glaze on the meatloaf was unbeatable. We started with the drunken mussels which come in a sauce that will have you soaking it up with the toast, and the sun dried tomatoes were a perfect touch. Lastly, the service was fantastic. Well done folks!

I remember when this was St Claire Winery, and its still along the same line as that. The host staff was a bit rough around the edges, maybe just having a bad day? Definitely not the personable type. The waiter was great though, and overall had a good experience. Great place for wine drinkers.

(5/28) Me and my wife had an amazing outdoor lunch. I had the chicken caprese and my wife had the pesto pistachio pasta with chicken. Both dishes were delicious and we paired it with their resiling! Our server Lalo was fantastic and attentive. I will definitely be returning on my next trip back to Albuquerque!

Wonderful ambiance. I was on my own and sat at the bar for dinner and a glass of wine. Had pistachio pesto pasta with shrimp and a glass of semillon. The pasta was very good, but I probably shouldn't have added the shrimp - too far inland. The wine was a great pairing with the pasta. The bartender was great and made me feel comfortable.

I had goofed and made reservations for the wrong night , despite this they were very accommodating and got us in anyhow . We tried a total of 6 wines all excellent .We started with a Brussels sprout appetizer- delicious . I ordered the meatloaf and was not disappointed and I’m a person who never orders meatloaf !! My partner had the braised pot roast and it melted in your mouth . The manager even gave up the recipe for the chipotle mango glaze on the meatloaf . Wonderful experience .

Went for dinner on a lovely evening. We sat on the patio. Aspen was an attentive waitress and brought us tastes of wine so we could choose a bottle to have with dinner. The only drawback was our dinner arrived before we had our wine. But with the relaxed atmosphere we were able to enjoy dinner and finish the wine. The pot roast was tender with a rich gravy. The meatloaf was good but slightly dry. All in all a wonderful experience!

Definitely a must do. Food is incredible and wait staff is so friendly…even in super busy times. We sat outside and the atmosphere was so laid back and relaxed. Not sure what it’s like inside. However, inside looks really nice. Country Pot Roast and Pasta New Mexico…yum yum. Great wine too.

Went here for our anniversary, and it far exceeded expectations. The staff was incredibly nice, the bartenders knew their stuff - seriously. Amazing staff. I got the Mongolian beef and my husband got the carbonara and both were out of this world with excellent on-par wine pairings. We would highly recommend.

A nice experience and dinner. Had the charcuterie appetizer, shared a bottle of rose and both had salads for the entree. An overall enjoyable evening but nothing amazing. We had previously visited their restaurant in Santa Fe and the ambience there is certainly better.

I had been to this winery before when I was in town and enjoyed it. We stopped in for a wine flight. I had the Limited Release flight and it was a fun flight of three wines that are in limited supply. The Petit Sirah had aggressive tannins- if not tannins something was aggressive. The Petit Verdot was smooth and fruit forward. I loved the Cabernet Franc. It tasted as described-robust, velvety, earth. We ate light and the food was tasty.

I love this place! The meatloaf is choice as the “best” or “recommended” for a reason. Perfectly seasoned on the green beans, mash potatoes, and meatloaf. The fried onions on top have a nice crisp. We also had the calamari before this and was an okay starter, quite average. The brownie was sweet but indulgent, and the creme brulee is so good and had the perfect amount of sweetness. Nice atmosphere and very calm. The service was great.

Burger meal , shrimp and steak , and dessert was Panna cotta . All were delicious . The burger was juicy and flavorful with the crispy fries made the perfect pair . The shrimp and steak were cooked well and went well with the sauce and veggies . The panna cotta was rich smooth and creamy . I would recommend definitely going here for a brunch or date night or any time really the place is nice and clean and food is delicious .

The food is always great. We had a party of 9, and all commented on enjoying their selection. They are busy. The resteraunt was full. The redesign of their building has removed much of the 'privacy, and made a more open atmosphere. This has made it very noisy. If you weren't seated next to who you were talking to, you couldn't hear them. We changed seating to accommodate. Also, they were out of our 1st 3 wine selections.

Our dinner here last night was very nice, although a 20-30 person group that came in soon after us seemed to put a real stress on their ability to take care of everyone in the main dining room in a timely manner. I ordered their Nosh appetizer as my dinner and enjoyed it very much. It was a fun and delicious meal! One of my party ordered the Schnitzel and thought it was quite good, and she grew up with great homemade German food. Another ordered the Salmon. He said it was tasty, but the amount of everything was “sadly small”. I agree, it looked a bit lost on his plate. Our waitperson, Gretchen, was wonderful, personable, and efficient as she could be, as it was very obvious that they were understaffed, making the wait (for example) between first and second glass of wine, and between dinner and ordering dessert too long. Gretchen’s recommendations for wine pairings, though, were spot on, and we know our wines! The atmosphere and decor here was lovely. We will definitely dine here again, I just hope their staffing is planned better.

Ok, looking for a break for the traditional Albuquerque cuisine? Well, here it is. Italian with a hint of southwest. The drunken muscle appetizers a must..out standing. Calamari, on point. The bacon wrapped shrimp in a spicy glaze was a home run. I ordered the meatloaf and it was just ok. My wife ordered the Seafood pasta Primavera..omg, best ever. Highly recommend! My cousin ordered the fetuccini with green chili..shockingly good. You won be disappointed

Came just after 5 on a Friday, and we just beat the rush. Good wines, all from their winery. Had two flights and the only quibble was with a sweet Riesling (my date is German and is against the idea of sweet Riesling on principle). Food was great and fast despite them being slammed. Always great to see a place expodite so well.

Had a wonderful experience at DH Lescombes this past weekend. We had a large party and we were accommodated quickly on the patio. Our server was Aspen and she was fantastic, we had a party of 13 and she was able to remember everyone's order without getting them confused. Our food came out super quick and was ABSOLUTELY delicious. We did a wine tour and it was voted that DH Lescombe was the best of the day based on service, food, atmosphere, and overall experience. Will definitely return. Also, we had potstickers, the bacon wrapped dates, the charcuterie board, and the goat cheese salad. All were very tasty and recommended.

I have wanted to go to this winery for awhile and it was worth the wait! We had the Feta and Hummus Appetizer, meatloaf, and chicken salad. The feta with honey and lavender was one of the best things I’ve ever tasted. The meatloaf, which I was told is the best dish in town, was phenomenal. It was smothered in a mango bbq that was out of this world. Both of us did flights of 4 different wines. Of the 8 we liked all but 1. I will be back!

Sorry! I ate my food before I remembered to take a picture so, you can tell the food was delicious. Nothing was left behind. And the crème brûlée! Was so good! Just thinking about it makes me want to go back. Yummy!

This was a first for me and my Fiancé and we both really enjoyed our time here! We were running a little behind our reservation time so I called to let them know we would be running a little late. The young girl host who answered the phone was really polite and said it wasn't a problem that we were running late. The older woman host was kind of rude and made us a little intimated as if I shouldn't be dining there however, the young girl reassured us that we still had our reserved spot. The waitress Maria was super cool and matched the vibe! She recommended some good wines to taste! We will definitely be coming back and recommending this place to all of our family and friends!

The service was awesome our server did an amazing job she was very friendly. The food was amazing and the wine sample was very good. I would definitely go back with friends and family. We sat in the patio area and the atmosphere was great. This is one wine bistro I would definitely recommend to everyone we had a party of 7 and we waited less than 5 minutes to be seated. The hostess was very nice.

Great ambiance; all entres in our group were excellent. Service was very good. Our waitress had many tables to cover, so refills of wine and water were slow. Wines we drank were very tasty. Will go back again on another visit. One warning: it is so busy you should make a reservation.

Wait was lengthy but we didn't have reservations. That as expected especially because of how delicious the food was. Wine was pretty good everything we tried anyways.
