From what i could experience it is a cool place. Couldn't get a seat inside because they were at limited capacity but the outdoor seating was very pleasant. Service was quick and the server was friendly. Not the cheapest prices but they did have Gentleman Jack so I was happy. """"""""""""+++++++""""""""""" A great casual place with friendly staff and good food. The beer is cold and food is satisfying. I usually come here when I need a cold beer and a good burger. They never disappoint.

Honestly the drink prices are good. The days where u might not get in are without a doubt a Friday or Saturday night. Get there before 11 and you have a shot. During the week it's super mellow the food is pretty good and the staff is really great. Adri always takes care of me and is super friendly and bubbly. When you go tell her Josh sent you...BUUUTTTT only if your a chill and genuinely nice person

Great local bar/pub, the waitress's are great. They used to make a Great Ribeye Steak, and I wish they would bring it back. But the food they have is pretty good, it's a Great place for lunch or dinner, or just drinking. They have live music, good people.

Nice small bar with some good food and cheap drinks. Came here to kill 2 hours and had a good time.

This is the classic neighborhood bar we've been looking for. DH enjoyed a beer, I had a mixed drink. Hubby had turkey bacon wrap, I had quesadilla with a marvelous trio of dips. Tiny complaint, the guac was bland, but dumping salsa in the guac cup made it great. We went on a Tuesday and it was quiet, but we've driven by on weekends and it is quite busy.

Parking was plenty when I was there and the atmosphere is social bar setting, its was calm. Area is pretty small and the service was friendly. The price was decent and the food i got was good. I ordered fish and chips and the fries was crispy and not oily and soggy. The battered fish was the first time i tried it, i haven't had fish for awhile, it was ok it wasn't bland, the batter was crispy and the tartar sauce was good. Fish wasn't for me for the first time trying it deep fried. Also got the enchilada plate, the Mexican rice was under cooked it was raw, it had a lime taste to it. I didn't like it and the enchiladas with the red sauce was ok it wasn't bland. Its a good place to hang out with friends and grab some drinks.

Food is delicious, drinks are decently priced, and service is okay (kind of slow). However, as soon as you enter this establishment, a slight porto potty smell permeates throughout. Unfortunately, it made our dinner unappetizing. The restroom being right across the kitchen didn't help either. This made the strong urine odor smell worse with a deep fried corn tortilla smell... YUCK!

This is a great place for the best food, the best music, the best dance music, and I won't forget to give Kudos to All of the staff. From security, servers, bartenders and D.Js/ Bands. If they had 10 ⭐s that's what I would give them. Keep up the great work guys!!!!

An outstanding neighborhood bar. I was there today and the bartender/waitress took excellent 👌 care of me, i tipped her accordingly. Try the Effing Burger, you can't lose. I'll be back, no doubt.

Great bar and restaurant. Service was exceptional (Jennifer was amazing). Food was very good and portions were large. Highly recommend this establishment.

We drive through Albuquerque on our way to Phoenix and found this local bar. We try to stop here every time we are in town. Weekends are very busy but we are retired so we get there early and leave early. :) Not fancy, just our style--love it.

Stopped in late on a Sunday night while just passing through town. Drinks were delicious and responsibly priced, Monica was super friendly and gave great recommendations for stuff to check out nearby, and I made a couple new friends. Awesome spot. I happened upon this bar to meet a friend. Looks like a hole in the wall. BUT!!!! U walk in and it's very nice, clean and friendly. The games were on the TVs, music started playing when the DJ came a little later. People seemed to know each other. It was great and so was the food! Definitely plan to go again.

I came in and sat down at the bar. The bartender is a lady with blonde hair. I would use her name but she never introduced herself to me. She asked what I wanted to drink and I asked for a Bud light she asked if I wanted draft or a bottle I asked for the bottle. She served me and then never checked on me again. She walked by and checked regularly on the other guests at the bar but not once did she ask me if I was doing okay. I finished my beer and waiting patiently to see if she would offer me another beer but never happened. It wasn't until I stood up and put my coat on that I was able to get her attention to cash me out. The bartender never smiled at me and I didn't feel welcome in the bar. I use to be a regular before the pandemic and thought I would be again but I don't think I will be going back.

Great place to watch your team, cold beer, great food and service. Great neighborhood hangout.

Ok, what a cool vibe..definitely a locals Bar. Everyone was absolutely cool. We were greeted by the owner with shots. Nice surprise. Next time in Albuquerque we will definitely drop in!

Waitress are beautiful but food took forever. My wings were good and my friends nachos were huge but awful 😞. Drinks are priced ok but worst bloody Mary I've ever had. Also stood for 5 minutes before seating ourselves....

Too loud for me. BLT had delicious B, no L no T. Sadly. Green chili cheese fries is queso cheese, not a fan of.

A nice place to go for dinner and Karaoke on Thursday nights (8pm). Food is delicious, drink specials and it does get busy.

i used to frequent this when it was the "old" Gin Mill. so we decided to give it another try and we were not disappointed. its a dive bar but the service and food were really good. we had the BLT and Effin Turkey sandwich. YUM!! their beer was icy cold which i LOVED! We will definitely be back and so close to Ladera golf course...PERFECT!

We came to Effingbar as their Wednesday night music performance group. We felt very welcomed from the beginning! The vibe of this place was great! The food and drinks were delicious, and we definitely plan on returning soon!

The front door guy was a little rude. The waitress wasn't super friendly but she worked hard. The DJ was awesome!

Karaoke, darts, makes this place a cool watering hole for the neighborhood. Food is great. It tends to just get pretty crowded. But overall a good place to let loose.

Service is great! Food not so much. Nachos were terrible at $15 and an extra $2 for a tiny cup of salsa. Disappointing! But it’s a great local bar. Live and learn.

Delicious! Perfectly prepared food that's affordable as well as aesthetically pleasing. Good atmosphere and well trained staff.

The food and service was great! My only complaint is that it was crazy loud inside. But, to be fair, that is kind of the vibe of the place. Long story short - expect good food and service but not a quiet evening for a date unless you want to yell across the table the whole time.

Just went here tonight for the first time. It was a great experience!! I didn't catch our bar tenders name but she said she works Tuesdays and Sundays and she was so nice and attentive! The food was great and I'll definitely be going back! Great drinks and good prices!

I only take out lunch from effing I really like the ranch salad, turkey wrap and the wings. The bar tender is always friendly.

Butt hurt that I had to come alone but I won’t hold that against you guys. My adovada ‘dilla was great and even with a full bar the bartender got to me (at a table) in less than five minutes. Food came quick and again- was well executed by the kitchen staff. A bunch of tvs to watch the game and clean. Good job y’all

I'm from out of town, I only went there because of the name I will never go there again, I called to see if they had what I drink, she said yes, I got there there was only one shot left, the bartender, can't remember her name was not rude but very inefficient, only time she came and got someone a drink is if they called her by name. My food. No, absolutely not, I ordered a cheeseburger VERY RARE, to go, it's not even close to that, it medium well. I don't expect perfection from a local bar but I do expect better than this. I will not go to this bar again when I drive through
