Found this place while driving around. Was craving bloody marys and although it wasn't in the menu it was available 😋 the restaurant was clean and it wasn't busy. Staff was friendly and prompt with service. The drinks were excellent and the food was delicious. My 8 year old loved the Spanish rice and she rarely finishes her meal, this one was gone. She even asked to return again. I ordered the combination plate while my husband got the burrito. The potatoes inside tasted like fresh homemade instead of frozen. Everything was great and I'm excited to try more from their menu

Somebody needs to change the name on Yelp from Albuquerque bar and grill to the wild avocado Cork & tap. The food is very good here. I had to tamales with beans and Spanish rice for $11. Salsa and chips are free. Some restaurants do charge. It was good.

For the convenience, and with the food voucher, I decided to give this place a try. Service was average (Jayden was very kind), but the food was sub-par. I ordered the Big, Bad Burrito with carne adovada and a side of refried beans. My burrito was just beans and rice - no meat. I hate complaining about food, but felt that for $15 I should get at least something. After bringing it to Jayden's attention and he went back to the kitchen I heard, "busted!" So, that mistake seemed very intentional... the 3 tables around me also had either inedible food or an unsatisfactory meal. Not worth it - try something else around the area!!

I had breakfast here on two different occasions. The service was incredible! The staff were very experienced and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was also very quick to come out and was a great portion size for the price point. Overall a fantastic place to come if your in the area.

Friendly service, pretty decent coffee. I had the Chilaqules, tortilla chips smothered in chile and cheese, and topped with eggs. As a local, I was surprised and delighted that the Hatch green chile had a nice bite-I was expecting a milder version because this restaurant is part of the Best Western, which serves out of towners.

There was only one waiter for the entire restaurant but he did a heck of a job. The food was authentic Mexican and we really enjoyed it. They also have great drinks and were quick to refill our iced tea. I recommend this hotel and this restaurant especially if you're traveling cross country with dogs. They were very accommodating.

One of our favorite parts of the Best Western Plus Rio Grande Inn was the fact that breakfast was included - but it's the nicest free breakfast we've ever had! It's a restaurant that's connected to the hotel, and it was fabulous! We got 4 vouchers for our breakfasts, and it was so nice to be able to roll out of bed and into this lovely little restaurant! I was thrilled that they had gluten free options- the gluten free avocado toast was delicious!

We had dinner and dancing here. We enjoyed it a great deal. I had salmon while my other half had steak--we both liked our meals. The entertainment was very enjoyable and there is a small dance floor. The other patrons were a riot to be around. This is a setting for the more mature crowd.

1st round of drinks and orders were taken quickly. After that it went down hill. Drinks were empty quite awhile and we didn't get asked for more until after the food came some time later. I had a burger and asked for ketchup and mustard, 15 minutes later I got the ketchup. 5 minutes after that and half my burger eaten got the mustard. My pop was flat the first time asked for another and the second was the same. I had it removed from the bill. I don't know if I want to put the blame totally on our waiter, but I think others should have assisted.

I stopped here every morning on my way to work. Since it's right around the corner and I love the service. The people are nice and very prompt

The local combo is pretty delicious. Next time, I'm adding fried avacado. That will be culinarily outrageous. I didn't take a photo because I tipped it on the way back to the room. I couldn't tell where the homemade tamale started and the enchiladas ended.

Like most of my Texan neighbors I judge my steak by if I had to add anything like sauce or salt. I had to use both. Not worth the 26 bucks. The salsa was decent but the Spanish rice tastes like it’s from a box

Not bad for a hotel restaurant. I especially liked the veggie sandwich. Had grilled asparagus as a side, also nice. Menu seemed a bit limited. Server was friendly and attentive.

Comfortable and relaxing, welcoming and friendly employees. Had great service at lunch time. The food is fresh and the menu has more to offer than you might expect at a hotel. Local flavors and inventive menu items.

We love the performance by Ray Lucero & his band... Fantastic! On other notes for improvement,: Please reassign some of your wait staff from the not so busy restaurant to the bar at Wild Avocado. Would really help. Also, need more air conditioning in the Wild Avocado & open up the Sandia room for more space please! Thank you!

This is a hidden gem that more people need to know about. The food was great, especially the homemade tamales & flan. The margaritas were very tasty and the staff was super friendly.

Between the 2 of us we had 3 house cocktails containing no alcohol. However the food is divine. I suggest drinking soft drinks and not wasting money on alcoholic drinks.

Rude bartender. She tries to make you uncomfortable. Been in here many times never experienced such attitude from someone in this place. Threw stuff around like it was bothering her that we were there. We always recommend this best western to all family and friends and Co workers that come into town. This will be our last time there.

I live nearby and saw Taco Tuesday on the sign. I checked prices on their website....6 tacos for $5 and a dozen tacos for $9!!!! I called to confirm and the real price is 6 tacos for $10. Why not? I specifically asked if the tacos were ground beef and I was told they are. Ordered fried avocado strips and chips and salsa as well. Got home and discovered the tacos were shredded beef rather than ground beef. The shells were fried mini-flour tortillas, about 4 bites each. The fried avocado was 6 slivers deep fried in a corn meal batter which does not go well with avocado as far as texture or flavor. The chips were stale. The salsa was decent. Was expecting to feed 3 people and it wasn't enough for one. I called to let them know the taco meat was incorrect. His response was, "I'm sorry, they change what goes in there sometimes. It might've been my fault. Sorry." No attempt to redeem themselves whatsoever. Had he offered to re-make the order, I would not have accepted, not would I have accepted a voucher for a free meal or dessert. The New Mexican fare reflects that it is likely the owner is not from around here.

Food selection is very limited for breakfast. Servers had a 20 minute wait for two, even though the tables were mostly empty. Chorizo was basically meat, Cholula, hot pepper flakes. Not a great experience.
