Very disappointed with this meal. Me and my family use to go here on a regular basis. The corn chowder used to have a different color, consistency and flavor. It was cool and it lacked flavor. It used to be one of the best corn chowders in this state. The carrot muffin was undercooked and mushy. We used to buy a 6 to 8 pack of muffins to go they were so good. I know the franchise was bought several years ago but DO NOT CHANGE THE RECIPES. Going to cafeteria grade of food was the wrong choice. Fire the chef and get some competency back in the restaurant. Spruce up the tables and your furniture because they are falling apart. Go back to your old food and this 1978 franchise might make it to 2030. If not this franchise will fall like the rest of the sad chains from the Covid era and beyond.

I had a ribeye dinner and it was very good; perfectly cooked. The waitress very friendly and attentive. I will go there again for sure.

I recommend you come out to Mimi’s Cafe! Excellent service by our waitress Jessica. She went above and beyond in making our experience a pleasure. Mimi’s is definitely the best breakfast I’ve ever had in Albuquerque. Our food was very delicious. I can’t wait to come back and try other items on the menu. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

This was a good place! They can cook bacon and potatoes right which I can’t say of a lot of places. Nothing blew my mind away but a quality place for breakfast. Service was pretty good a very nice staff. I had the Bacon Avocado omelette and the Mrs had French Toast.

Breakfast 🥞 was awesome, note too people that don’t eat onions , corn beef hash browns comes with heavy cooked onions so beware lol me I’m an onion lover so it was good. The muffin was warm and came with butter and was soooo good I enjoy that too. Oh their pan cakes is awesome gotta try that. So next time I’m in town I wanna try the dinner menu .

My husband and I decided to visit Mimi’s Cafe for breakfast and we had an amazing experience. Our waiter Benjamin was very attentive and made ensure that we were taken care of in a timely manner. There was about a 20 minute wait when we initially arrived, but we only waited about 7-10 minutes. We ordered a pretty hefty breakfast and he was able to quickly get our food out to us. Benjamin mentioned that there was not a bartender working to prepare out drinks so he went ahead and went over to get them for me. I would highly recommend visiting and if you could get Benjamin to service you and your family you won’t be disappointment. The food was also really good and they serve breakfast all day.

The first time I visited this location was for speed dating, lol. That didn’t work out but I thank God my car is currently in the shop and I needed Uber. After my appointment at RAA, I walked across the street to Mimi’s Cafe and met our beautiful waitress Bianca ! She was so kind, thoughtful, attentive, generous , and very homiest when I asked about elections on the menu ☺️ We chose great options by the way! I ordered Crème brûlée, bread pudding, and Caesar salad (I’m not a fluffy nanna)🥳 My daughter ordered a kid’s breakfast with a side of hot cocoa. I had two cups of coffee because it was part of the refill with my order 😍 I think Bianca knew I needed a second cup lol. Please go visit her and TIP her because she is amazing !! 🍨☕️🍞🥗🍓🫐🍳🥓

I have had my eye on this place for years and finally decided to try it. It was empty for us during brunch. My partner and I ordered two mimosas and they were okay. We got the spinach art dip and the bread was cold but the dip was good. I ordered the burger with the garlic parmesan bun and it was great but my partner didn’t enjoy her breakfast sandwich and the potatoes were hard and cold. We love brunch spots but I unfortunately won’t return to this one.

I've been here many times and have always had great food and a pleasant experience! It's a large restaurant with lots of seating areas and interesting French/Jazz style decor; ideal for special events, parties, celebrations, etc. Definitely try the corn chowder soup and the chicken pot pie! They are both delicious 😋

The food was great, my issue was the selection; made it so hard to choose a meal. Settled for the French Dip with onions, peppers and the mozzarella was soo good. My pops got the Pot Roast, it was delicious! Hope was a great server, she gave us very prompt service. Definitely coming back.

A great place for all-day breakfast and quality recipes. Over the years, this restaurant has become a favorite of mine. They have plenty of entries to choose from and friendly staff to help with serving you. Sometimes, there is a wait but it's worth it. You can also request for complementary bread while you wait for your appetizers and/or entrees. They also have a lunch and dinner menu. Check out their specials that also change often and also during the holidays. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Mimi's was great. Menu's a bit different from my last visit, but the food was no less excellent. Our highlight was the Croque Monsieur enjoyed by my daughter, but we all had fabulous dishes. Couldn't recommend it more. My issue is with myself ... somehow, I added only a 10% tip, & believe me, the service deserved far better (especially considering, it was New Years Eve, & I perceived they were short-staffed). Be assured, I'll be making amends on my next visit. Anyway, thank you to all the good folks at Mimi's Cafe. It was most memorable.

Went there for a brunch date, the atmosphere was great very big on the French quarter vibe. It was the middle of the day on Friday so it was not that busy, ordered the croissant sandwich. It came out and it looked like someone sat on it and it was burnt! Put a damper on our date, on the brighter note the mimosas were good.

AMAZING experience, start to finish. Great serving courtesy of Benjamin. Polite. Anticipated our every need but wasn’t “buggy”, if ya know what I mean. He was backed up by “Anthony”, his manager. Great teamwork! They appeared to be short-staffed but we weren’t able to tell. Everything arrived in a timely manner and cooked to perfection. We will be back soon.

So the fried calamari was delicious the mimosa was ok the rosemarry and steak sandwhich was pretty alright the only thing I was really dissapointed by was the chicken strips bland dry flavorless and overcooked for over 20 bucks I was expected genuily good hand breaded chicken strips it's sorta the reason we went because I wanted some I'm honestly kinda upset

It's not terrible. It's not great either. The atmosphere of the place feels dingy and old. For a Saturday at 4pm it was extremely slow, our table and two others. Plates are priced pretty high. The entrees we got were missing flavor and spice and anything that makes a meal scrumptious. I got the chicken and waffles, I don't think the chicken was cooked right or something because I immediately felt ill. My boyfriend got the breakfast burrito and only the side of potatoes since that was the only good part. The kids plates are a decent size though the eggs were bland and the bacon cold. It wasn't a terrible experience but I will not be coming back.

Great French Onion soup. I have been to Mimi's in Phoenix. This one is just as good. Great breakfast here. Caught it after lunch crush. In and out with good service. Quaint atmosphere.

I've been here several times in the past. I don't know how I managed to not to review this restaurant before. This was a birthday celebration. And he lived up to every expectation. My wife and I we're being treated by my mother-in-law. That was very sweet thing for her to do. And the restaurant really added a lot of festivity to the event. We got mimosas, and enjoyed a fantastic plate of eggs benedict as well as a delicious omelette and split a blueberry muffin. The food was delightful. The waitstaff was very nice and wanted to make sure that we had a great time. Mission accomplished! If you're looking for a great breakfast or brunch out, stop by Mimi's. The muffins are fantastic. They have a great menu which includes eggs benedict, corned beef hash and eggs, and a variety of baked goods including muffins that just make your mouth water. Give it a try!

Largely fine. My wife and I stopped in for lunch. The building has clearly been in use for a long time, and it shows. Walking in the restaurant has a sign saying they have severe staffing shortages, and that shows in the level of service and cleanliness of the place. The people who actually did serve us were perfectly pleasant. Food was okay, not outstanding. I don't think the quality of the food is in line with the prices. So, not a terrible meal, but we're not in a rush to return. If this business is going to continue, they need to staff and do a significant facilities pass to clean up the building. Feel free to stop in if you're nearby and starving. It'll be fine. For the prices, I think there is cheaper, better food available in Albuquerque.

New menu new people and higher prices. The bread basket is just one bread instead of multi types. This used to be one of our favorite places to have breakfast but not anymore. Sad that you pay more get less everywhere. The eat local is my new Mató so let’s start supporting our local restaurants in Albuquerque. Service is still good. Hard working but as the business itself we are done with it😞

Why you do this to me"MIMI'S...Why you give me the , 😋 😋 😋,for my Tummy. Tum Tum!!😊😊 Bathrooms. Immaculate!! Friendly; not crowded dining room.. For your GIRL!! BUT.. I digress. Let's talk about the food game! I went and messed around with the "Steak and Eggs". Steak was a tender boo thang!! Eggs cooked just right!! I took my first bite of delight on the steak.. But it up to my mouthpiece. I almost cryed, i said almost!!😅 This restaurant leaves Denny's,Ihop and pretty much every other joint in ALBUQUERQUE.. IN THE DUST!!! My Server was AMAZING. ATTENTIVE. AND PROFESSIONAL!!! Will DEFINITELY BE BACK!! My only Critique is the food could have been hotter, was a little(Lukewarm😲) If it was hotter, would have given you a 5... All Day!!😜💗

Big plates, good food. Food was nice and hot. Lots of home cooking meals. Breakfast all day. Great muffins with a great variety. The turkey and dressing is my favorite meal. Juicy turkey and dressing was good. Needed a bit more sage. Garlic spinach is super flavorful. The tuna melt was not my favorite. Tasted different. Needs more variety of soups. Would have loved a chicken noodle soup. Overall, a great experience.
