If you love eating Mexican food, you can't go wrong eating at Sadie's. Their food is oh so good. I recommend getting the corn enchiladas with beans and potatoes with green sauce on top.

Delicious, the customer service was the best and our server was "AWESOME ". The plates are huge, we had a great time I will definitely be back and would definitely RECOMMEND 😊🤤🤗

Great experience! Quick and very friendly service, and huge value. I was originally going to order the large nachos, but I was told the small feeds 4 people (and they aren't exaggerating), so I got the small. I went here by myself and now I have leftovers for both dinner and breakfast tomorrow, maybe even another lunch! They arent the best nachos I've ever had, but don't get me wrong, they're tasty. Much better than Frontier's nachos. They also have these pastries that you can put sweet sauce (can't remember the name of either the pastry or sauce, but the pastry itself is in my photos) and it's really good as well. I would definitely come back here. I paid $13 and now have 2 more tasty meals. Plenty of good food for a killer price, and the service is great. Loved my experience here.

This was our first time here and it was delicious! The restaurant was huge and clean. My husband and I sat at one of their semi-enclosed booths that give you a sense of privacy and cuts down on the ambient noise. The service was prompt, friendly and courteous. We both really enjoyed our meals and the red and green chili were especially good. Just a few things for me would have made our meal 5 stars. I'm a huge chili relleno fan and prefer the lighter egg batter and the poblano peppers. Sadie's batter was more doughy and thicker. Although their pepita was excellent, I missed the option of getting rice. I also wished they had an option to get refied beans. I missed having creamy beans as a side. These are all personal preferences of mine, so if you like pepitas and whole beans, this is the place for you. The complimentary sopapillas were excellent! I tried not to eat them since I was already having a huge meal, but they were irresistible. So good! We will definitely be returning!

AMAZING!! From the service to the food, everything was on point. We only had to wait about 15 minutes for a table. The services were fast, and we never waited for anything. We ordered the blood orange margarita 🍹, it was delicious. We never waited on anything, and they made sure our drinks were always full.

Accidentally wrote 2 reviews in my notes so including both. Had the best time at dinner. All staff was super friendly and welcoming since the moment we walked it. Kailey was so hands-on, checking in on us, providing drink and food suggestions, and answering all our questions. She was sweet and caring. Ventura assisted in serving our plates. The queso definitely stole the show though. Salivating just thinking about it🤤🤤🤤🤤. Thanks for a great experience. -@angelepatino Biggest THANK YOU to Kailey who is super amazing at her job. From checking in on us frequently, getting us everything we wanted, making suggestions, and being so down-to-earth. She knows her menu and she was super sweet. It was my first time visiting Albuquerque or New Mexico and she is one of the reasons I have a good impression of the city and state. Staff greeted us at the front desk, we were seated almost immediately, and multiple staff helped us/Kailey throughout. A true example of team work.

When you think Mexican food, think Sadie's. Satisfying food, large portions, and very attentive wait staff. Charming atmosphere and decent prices. So neat that they distribute their salsa to grocery stores!

I am a fan of Mexican food, I have visited Mexico just to do a food tour, so I'm telling you that if you want to try the WORST Mexican food in the world, go to this restaurant. I don't understand why the reviews here are so good if the food is horrible. Although I must admit that the place is very nice and the service is quite good. The servers are very friendly. Do not go to this restaurant if you are experienced with good, authentic Mexican cuisine. 2/10

First time here. Ordered take out and it was so fast and the customer service was phenomenal. Food was absolutely amazing, flavorbombs, & so delicious. Thank you so much. Next time I'm in town I definitely will be back. Flying home to DC tomorrow. Thank you for making my last meal in Albuquerque so wonderful. ❤❤

Everyone can enjoy Christmas here, it doesn't matter what you believe in. I need to take my Jewish friend here. He always wanted to experience Christmas, but obviously not to the point where he would convert religions. This place is the perfect way for him to partake in Christmas while remaining Jewish. When I was here I ordered the Chile relleno. The waitress asked me if I'd like the red sauce, green sauce, or both. I didn't want to miss out on anything so I got both. After I ordered my cousin informed me that I could have said "Christmas", which meant getting both the green and red sauces. After knowing that I wanted to reorder, but also didn't want to waste the waitress' time just so I could say "Christmas". Next time I'll know what to do. Anyways, the Christmas Chile relleno was amazing!

Sadie’s is awesome. Came in on a Friday night around 8 and was seated right away. Blood orange margarita was 10/10. Tons of food that we had to take home, but honestly one of the best reasons to come here. Service was really attentive and good as well. Really good neighborhood New Mexican restaurant.

After reading the amazing reviews, we knew we had to stop by after a failed attempt of watching the night show of the balloon fiesta. It was crowded, so we had to wait approximately 20 mins, but the food was very worth it. Beware: the portion sizes are bigger than expected here! Definitely a good thing, but we didn’t expect it, and ordered WAY too much. I really wanted to get Chile con Queso, because it had green Chiles. It was spectacular of a starter dish for the meal. It was a perfect blend of cheeses, a wonderful dash of vegetables, and perfect consistency. It was by far the best part of the meal for me. They also provided free salsa and chips. The bus boy was very friendly, and refilled our chips every time we hit the bottom. Other service members were much less attentive, but he was really on top of it! The food in general was a little spicer than we expected, but absolutely amazing. I would strongly recommend coming to this place for some really good New Mexican food.

I had to wait to come to work in New Mexico to actually get some REAL FOOD. My co-workers have been telling me about this restaurant for a couple years now. So I decided to try it with them and OMG TASTE LIKE MY MOM MADE IT!!! I absolutely love this place, food was amazing and hugh plates for such a good price. When I'm back in town I WILL be coming back.

Went here for lunch. I liked the atmosphere and decor. Food was decent but not memorable. I assume I did not get one of the better menu items. The place was pretty busy for lunch time.

Traveling thru, hotel staff recommended. It’s always good to see lots of cars in parking lot. Sat @ the bar for a drink & food. Staff deserves a shout out, everyone especially the bar staff was filling drinks & taking orders. Friendly & professional. We really like New Mexico style foods & were not disappointed.

Some of the best salsa I've ever had. Small wait, but beyond worth it. Food was excellent

My bf brought me here for the first time for date night. The food was really great, as well as the service!! Atmosphere was social but quiet. We had a small wait but were called earlier than expected. Parking was kind of a pain but only because it was busy. It was a great experience and we will definitely be back!!

Jacob is amazing! We went 3 times to Sadie's during Balloon Fiesta week, and we had Jacob every time. The food was amazing, but the salsa was pretty spicy! I loved everything we tried!

Ordered the carne adovado enchiladas and a chicken quesadilla. The Xmas chili was flavorful and not too spicy. The carne adovado was tasty as well. The hashed potato was not exciting on its own but worked well with the plate. The chicken in the quesadilla was not seasoned as well and tasted pretty bland. Portion sizes were large and generous. Environment was clean and atmospheric, service was wonderful as well. I recommend coming here for a meal with friends and family :)

Fantastic food and huge portions. You will not be disappointed with a drop-in for lunch or dinner. We actually stopped by for lunch and even the lunch portions are huge. If I can make a suggestion, should you consider the nachos, be sure there’s several people at your table to share them. I got the small order as my entree and it was HUGE! I couldn’t even make a dent! The salsa has a bit of a kick to it, but the quest was spot on!

First time visitor and we had a blast and departed with full bellies. Plenty of seating and very large menu. The waitress was great, she took the time to explain the menu and offered recommendations. Definitely a place I would return to.

Had a fantastic date night on Friday evening. Wait time was relatively short, wait staff was courteous and friendly. Our server, Andres, was phenomenal and very attentive! We will definitely be returning to this location!

This is a great authentic Mexican food restaurant. I had the Chili Relleno and it was delicious. All meals are served with Sopapillas. Delicious! And the service was impeccable. I hadn't seen my friends for 25 years and they allowed us ample time to catch up. Thanks!

First time trying this popular New Mexico restaurant. Ordered chicken fajitas and it was absolutely the worst fajita I have ever had period. The fajitas came out cold and very dry. They did make me a new plate of fajitas ( which I was thankful for) that were not as dry but still dry. it was definitely a Hot plate. Tasted the chicken and it had zero seasoning, zero marinate and zero favor. Someone at my table said that it tasted like they opened a bag of frozen chicken and just heated it. Could have been a off night by chance, if I ever decided to go back( not likely) I will not order their fajita plate for sure. I was highly disappointed because I had heard that their food was good. The second thing that I really disliked was the busboy reaching across the table in front of me like 5 times and in front of everyone else, till I got upset and told him that he was rude by just reaching in front of people's faces. If you are providing a service you do not reach across the table in front of a customer's face. Once okay, mistake, 5 times, I am going to tell you that you are a rude person and that you don't know how to do your job. I didn't complain to management because I told him what I thought about him reaching in front of everyone. Was looking forward to eating here, very disappointed. Our waitress was good, busboy terrible. Started reading some reviews and you can tell that the owners of this restaurant do not even read their own reviews to improve their service to their customers.

We had a party of eight at about 11am on a Saturday. Food came quickly, tasted freshly prepared, everything was seasoned great. Chile wasn't very hot, but both the red and green were still rich and flavorful. Our server and busser were both super attentive and gave us plenty of drink and chips/salsa refills, and were really friendly. I had several New Mexican meals while in Albuquerque for a few days, and Sadie's was easily the best.

What can I say? Everything I had at this restaurant was sipid and satisfactory quality. The wait time was fairly short and the menu had so many interesting New Mexican dishes. At the end of the meal, the price was less that 20$ per person which is great value considering the fact I ordered 4 items.

Extremely Dissatisfied. Dry chicken enchiladas, over priced fajitas, barely 4 oz if that. About 6 oz of onions and bell peppers. Side of Canned beans with the fajitas. I haven't been here in a while but this place has gone down the toilet. WORST way to end Spa Day. HIGHLY NOT recommended

First, the chips and salsa was so good, nice and hot 🔥🥵, lol perfect. My server didn't know what was on special as for drinks or food, and didn't take my drink order, he said he thought all I wanted was the water that a busser served me. Any way, I ordered a super fruit margarita, it was ok, was real strong, the alcohol over powered the taste of what the drink was supposed to taste like, so it wasn't refreshing, just more like a shot of tequila and ice and a hint of juice... Next time I'll try something different. I ordered the Roberto Special. For the most part, it was delicious... My only thing was too much chili con queso, BUT that's just me, I didn't realize it would be that much, not a big issue, if I order it again, I'll get it on the side, but it was awesome, the potatoes, the beans... Soo good and it came with perfect sopaipillas that were golden Delicious 😋. I did order the larger ground beef steak, but was served the regular, and never got a refill of water. All in all, the food was great, and next time I hope to get a better more experienced server. And there will be a next time.

All my visits have gone exceptionally well here. Food quality, great. I had a taco salad last visit 12/9/23 Salad fresh and chicken tasty. Staff were very attentive (I hope my date left them a generous tip) and Manager checked on us as well. Sadie's on 4th st. Is my go-to, but I also like the Academy location.
