**FAILED HEALTH INSPECTION** RED (June 14) Result: Immediate closure Facility had two priority violations and five priority foundation violations. It also had evidence of ongoing roach infestation resulting in the immediate closure. Observed black debris build up on the inside of the ice machine along ice shoot. Observed gaps along the back doors leading to the outside. Significant and heavy amount of roaches were within the salad/bread area, at the make station cooler across from saute stations, in the mop sink room, with minimal amounts at the dish area, prep area, pizza station, hand washing station immediately entering the kitchen from the dining room and bar closet area. These roaches were observed on the floor and walls in the server pantry area, on the casters and compressor area of the reach in cooler, on the casters of the wire rack and to go bags on the wire rack in the salad/bread area, coming out of the wall in the dish machine area, along the lower section of the pizza oven on the floor, at the three compartment sink, at the prep area, under the water heater, and on the back side by compressor area of the make station cooler in the kitchen. Observed food handling employees with wrist jewelry on. Observed large quantity of wiping cloths stored on make station cutting boards and prep tables at the time of inspection. Observed sanitizer bucket stored on the ground in the salad/bread area. Observed ice scoops stored directly on top of the ice bin. Observed roaches crawling on the to go bags in the salad/bread area. Observed half lexan container in the salad/bread area with utensils and shakers stored inside with significant debris build up. Observed significant debris build up throughout facility on wire storage racks. Observed baking pans at the pizza coated with grease and debris. Observed plumbing system leak from the ware washing machine leaking onto the floor with pooling water and three compartment sink where plumbing line was not draining into floor drain with pooling water under the prep sink. Observed employee toilet room in back area with a non-self-closing door. Observed employee toilet room in back area open. Observed numerous holes, gaps, areas where wall materials were not fully attached and areas in poor repair and numerous broken, or missing ceiling tiles with access points in and out of the walls and ceiling. These were throughout facility, too numerous to list in areas such as at the mop sink/boiler room, at the ice machine above the cooking line where hanging shelving and wires are present, at the dish area holes drilled into wall and gaps along metal sheeting, salad/bread area, hallways, door jams in dry storage, mop sink room, and walk in coolers, freezers and dry storage. In the employee restroom in the kitchen area, observed wall cut out to fit toilet partially inside the wall.

Delicious food and nice ambiance. Make sure you call ahead for reservations unless you arrive right when they open. This place is very, very busy at dinner time. They have full dining options in the bar area but if the restaurant is packed, then the bar is too and with only one bartender and server. Make reservations - the food is worth the wait though if you don’t.

I've driven by this place multiple times since I lived in Albuquerque over a decade ago. While back in town on business travel I got the chance to pop in for dinner finally! I have to say that I feel disappointed I didn't go in earlier. The atmosphere is wonderful if you're looking for a nice restaurant to enjoy an anniversary or a celebrating a life event. I had the veil parmigiana with the Brutus salad and the orzo and sausage soup. I'm not one to typically have to take home part of my dinner but the veil was such a gigantic portion I had to! Great service and wonderful atmosphere!

Excellent food and service! We really enjoyed our meals! The parmesan crusted salmon had a nice crunch and a delicious, warm texture. The chicken with capers and pasta flavors were perfectly blended. As always, the spaghetti and meatballs were on point. The grilled salmon and veggies was so good there were no leftovers to take home! You can always count on Trombino's for top notch food and service. Once again the salmon was excellent and the pasta dishes were delicious!

The menu is reasonable but to the point. The service is amicable and hard working. I had appetizers and dessert. I was not disappointed. Try it! You might like it :-)

I went to dinner with my boyfriend and I. It was such a great experience, we sat in the bar area and Laura and Thomas took excellent care of us. We accidentally ordered the wrong appetizer and they were kind enough to fix it no problem. They were so friendly and welcoming to us, we definitely want to make it a weekly basis to come in on Sunday evenings to see Thomas and Laura for dinner !

Mira was our server she was super attentive and friendly, and we had the best time ever! The atmosphere wasn’t pretentious or stuffy. It wasn’t too loud even though it was a packed house. The calamari was super crispy and the sauces it was paired with were yummy. The chicken Parm was the best I’ve ever had. They separated the chicken from the pasta so the bottom doesn’t get all soggy. And the seafood pasta was good! Just needs a bit more seafood. Will definitely be back.

The food was really good and the staff was very nice. We had a full course meal, and each course was prepared as requested. The price to portions ratio was fair and they had a good wine selection. We had a good time on a rare night out.

Love it every time! Delicious food, friendly service, excellent choice for a special dinner or just a night out. UPDATE: Had a reservation for yesterday at 5:00, service was a disappointment to say the least. It was my birthday celebration and we couldn't even get refills on water. Not to mention not even an offer to order dessert. My whole party was so disappointed. I mentioned it on our way out to the hostesses, but they didn't even care. Let's see if management reaches out.

Amazing Gluten Free menu! So many choices, it even has a backside. That's more of a selection than some restaurants offer on their full menu. The dining experience isn't for those in a hurry. It's a classy and relaxing atmosphere.

Seafood fra deavlo Pasta was overcooked and mushy and tasted very oily. Lobster ravioli was tasty. The chicken scalloppini was delicious.

Boy oh boy what a decent experience! From the moment our family arrived, to leaving. Our server Wyatt was beyond exceptional, and it was quite a busy night ! Could not have asked for better service ! We all loved our meals! The NY strip I ordered had a bit more grissle then I would have expected, but was still cooked great med rare. Excited to come back! 🤗

The food and service were excellent. The place settings were nice, and everything was clean. The place was surprisingly busy for an early dinner. The tables were a decent distance apart, but it was still fairly loud. It wasn't a fancy place, by any stretch, so that's why I gave it 4 stars. For the price of the meal I would have expected a higher quality environment.

Enjoyed a delicious early dinner with my husband. He got an enormous ribeye, and I enjoyed the lobster ravioli. Everything was so fresh! AND they had my favorite wine, valpolicella. We will definitely go back the next time I'm craving Italian!

This was my significant other and I first time here. It was really nice! We sat in the bar area because it was free sitting and the restaurant has dim lighting and is very calming. The food was alright! If I were to be honest, it is definitely pricey considering the food quality. It is still a wonderful place to go especially if you are on a date . Also, The waitress was so sweet and wonderful. The best part was the dessert though!

Well known Italian restaurant that finally we could try it. Nice atmosphere and very clean restaurant and we got big round table middle of the room .Our group had full course dinner . Our waitress was nice but sometimes we couldn’t find her! Let’s start with drinks we had for different cocktails and beers. It took a while to have them specifically beer ones came last! It tried all cocktails but all were average ( kinda so sweet) and my favorite was Italian Sazerac. We had Calamari fritti combo. It was big portion good for our group it was delicious and fresh. As main course we got 4 different dishes Lasagna was the worst one. It was just like a cake with meat tomato sauce at top! Seafood Fra Diavoli was the best one with fresh shrimp , scallop, clams and mussels. In general all of them were little bit salty! And here we go to my favorite part “Dessert “. We had Warm apple crostada with vanilla ice cream and Tiramisu cake! NOT good! First Crostada came cold so I asked her and she brought us warmer one but still not much warm and fresh! I never had a Tiramisu (cake) like this! Every Italian restaurant’s signature dessert is their Tiramisu but not this one! 👎🏼 With this price category I prefer Scalo at Central Ave and for now I give them 3 ⭐️ till next time I go there.

Staff and service were AMAZING. Great atmosphere but the quality of food has me thinking I should have just got some Olive Garden. To save a little money and the bread sticks are better at OG ngl. Rigatony’s in Chandler AZ is who I compared trombolis to internally and I was disappointed to say the least.

So normally this place is awesome. We have been ordering to go for most of the pandemic. Dined in tonight. We are used to the long wait when you don't have a reservation. When We were seated, it took about 15 minutes before someone took our drink order. Then it took another 10 to get our food order. Then it took over an hour to get our food. A table that was seated after us with twice as many people actually got all of their stuff way before us. I didn't even get the glass of wine I ordered in all that time. The waitress at one point told us our food was ready and would be coming out. Then another 15 minutes went by. Two of the meals were a little cold and dry. Now I know they are understaffed as everyone else is. But my advice would be not to pack the place wall to wall throughout the evening if there is not enough staff to handle the volume. Or just be honest from the start that it is going to be a long evening. Pleasant staff otherwise.

As with most businesses, Trombinos is short staffed. I kindly ask that your patience must be on an A+ level and to please make a reservation so that way you won't have a long wait. Not too crowded at our arrival to Trombinos, but during departure tables were filling up. Came here as a birthday request with friends. Alexas was our attentive, friendly server. Thank you for bringing us HOT bread Lemon Drop Martini was perfect and so was The Mule; both potent if you drank 2 of them. Ordered Chicken Piccata, Lobster Ravioli, fried mushrooms which were all scrumptious. Complimentary Birthday dessert was a beautifully drizzled Spumoni, 3 scoops. Give them a try, please, and enjoy some drinks and conversation while you wait. Bon appetit!

Though the service was slow due to staff shortages.... the experience and food was wonderful for a first timer. Its a cozy and romantic setting. I would highly recommend trying this place, I was not disappointed. Definitely returning.
