Place is absolute junk. Took my girl for her birthday to eat out. They served me a burnt sandwich and Emily the manager, refused to refund it. She offered to remake it after it was too late and my girlfriend had already finished eating. Poorly run place and mediocre food. It explains why the place is so empty.

I made reservations for Valentine's Day a month ago. I showed up to take my date to dinner and they were closing the restaurant down because they ran out of food. I will never be back to this restaurant ever again and I will let everyone know not to go because obviously management cannot do, no one can do their job no matter what price you pay! I rather eat at McDonald's than eat at elephant bar. Everytime I've been to the Elephant Bar it's always been a problem. Obviously they do not care about their guests if they will not know accommodate the reservations. I hope this is one business that does go out of business because they do not deserve to be in business!!!! Very over priced. Don't waste your hard earned money there. It would have been like girlfriends first time there tonight, but glad I didn't take her there she doesn't want to ever go ever again!

I've been coming here for years but today was definitely the last time. Their food tastes great but the kids meals were so disappointing. It was just so little food for the price that it was insulting. The kids burgers were literally bread and meat, nothing else. The patties are like half the size of the bread. I wanted to take a picture but didn't want to be rude to our waitress who was very nice. McDonald's would've been a much better choice though. I bought the exact same meal here last summer and it was a ton of food and a great value. Not sure what changed but it's really sad to see this place go downhill. My meal was yummy and plenty of food but still more money than a lot of similar restaurants. I wanted a drink too but $12 for a cocktail? Eh. This trip was around $20-25 more than we normally pay at other places and the kids got hungry soon after.

Haven’t been since the pandemic and I am super disappointed. They cut their menu to the point that it’s no longer a vegetarian-friendly restaurant and they were so haphazard on how they used their self-proclaimed vegetarian symbol. Apparently sautéed spinach isn’t vegetarian? Such a shame, this restaurant used to be a family staple since everyone could get something they liked. We won’t be going back unless they re-expand their menu to at least partially their pre-pandemic options.

1/24/2022 Took my wife there today..restaurant was empty except for 1 table we stood at the podium for 5 minutes i had to go to the back to find a server to seat us. (She was on her phone)We ordered our food it came out very quickly i got the Asian tacos my wife got the fish and chips..my tacos were 3 out 10... beef was not tender very chewy..my wife's fish was ok 6 out of 10...but the fries were hard and COLD...I hadn't been there for years and after this i wont go back ever...40$ in the toilet! I have worked in many high end restaurants as a chef.... I am completely shocked at the lack of standards and professionalism!

Happy hour from 3 to 6, great draft beer. The signature burger was delicious and I asked if I could put raw red onion on it and they happily said yes. The mustard they have is absolutely delicious. The service was really good too.

Great experience eating dinner and dessert. Our waitress, Valerie, was friendly, accommodating, precise, efficient and worth asking for her table. Yummy food, big portions, and reasonable prices.

We had the chicken Marcella and the chicken and shrimp parmesan dish. Both were really good. I really like the the shrimp and chicken Parmesan. We got it with the Alfredo sauce with which cost a dollar more but it was worth it was really good. They have a full bar here and they have tons of wait staff so you don't have to wait long for your food or anything else you may need. The night we were there they were very busy. I attached some photos of the menu that you can expect to pay around $20 $25 per person not including drinks and tip

I hadn’t been here in quite some time, so I was pleased to see all the changes. We were immediately seated in the dinning area. Our server arrived promptly and took our drink order. We ordered appetizers when he returned. The appetizer came out so fast!!! It was the Parmesan crusted green beans. They were good, but could have used more Parmesan. We ordered the pear and Gorgonzola burgers for our entrees. They also arrived super fast. They were delicious. They were cooked perfectly and the flavors all balanced each other out. It definitely could have used more that two slices of pear though. For dessert we had the Ooey gooey cake. I was disappointed with it. This was not ooey gooey cake. It was just okay as “regular” cake too. If you are familiar with proper St. Louis ooey gooey cake, just steer clear of this. The meal was good overall and we will probably return more often.

Place was great. Wonderful staff, nice people that are willing to help with everything. The refills are free and most thing are 12 to 18 dollars but the food is worth it. For a cheaper meal I recommend the coconut shrimp and if you want bigger meals I would get fish or a burger, the burgers are pretty big so if you have an empty stomach it's perfect. The dessert was also pretty big.

Freindly staff and an excellent atmosphere. Food has a good flavor. Unfortunately steak I had was dry. A nice place to get together with friends.

I came here early for valentines day dinner with my boyfriend. We didn't have to wait long to be seated which was nice. They did have an array of cocktails to choose from, though we skipped those drinks for the night. We both got the lemon garlic chicken with fried rice. It was absolutely delicious, the grilled lemon was a nice touch to the chicken and spinach. I've never eaten spinach before, it was absolutely delicious. Our server was attentive to our needs including refills and making sure I had sweeteners for my tea. Overall it was a good experience. They are following new mexicos mask mandate as well for safe practice of covid.

Havent been here in years and I went yesterday and the food was just as good as it was when I went 5 yrs ago. The menu has changed a bit but they have some excellent choices. Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. Food took a while to come out of the kitchen but it was worth the wait.

Been here several times and consider this slightly above average at best. Menu has slimmed down quite a bit from previous visits. Most recent visit which was 2/25/23 around 1pm was very slow. Very few tables were occupied. Took about 40 minutes to get our order. Waiter acknowledged the long wait and informed the manager who compt my meal for the long wait. Food itself was good. No complaints there. Downfall is the service and scaled down menu.

We went on an evening when they were very short staffed. The bartender seated us. Our waiter was always present and gave excellent service despite being the only server there. I don't know how he did it. The kitchen staff worked their butts off! Food was great. Dessert was fabulous. Thank you all for working together so well. Kudos.

Update: still my favorite Albuquerque restaurant! Incredible service, food and drinks, every time. This visit we had: Adventure Platter appetizer (with: lettuce chicken wraps, coconut shrimp skewers and nachos), Orange Chicken with brown rice, Steak with loaded baked potato and Mac & cheese sides.

Navigating the Uptown Shopping Center can be a challenge at certain times of the day. Once you're parked, the Elephant bar has always provided a seemless and enjoyable pan-asian-fusion-plus dining experience. All staff were very friendly, communicative, and attentive. House cocktails are yummy, especially the raspberry lavender, if you enjoy such things. Some local beer was available, which is always good to see in a chain. The food was perfectly prepared to order, including the requested burger cook temp, which somehow seems to be a challenge elsewhere. Food presentation and plating was spot-on across the board, as you can see in the image. All-in-all, it's a solid choice.

Friendly bartenders. Lovely looking bar and restaurant with palm trees inside. We didn't eat but saw some delicious food being served. Great drinks!

Not terrible, not great. I had orange chicken, which was about on par with a good frozen meal. The vegetables were very undercooked. My wife had street tacos, which were good, but be aware the dish was three small tacos and 3/4 a plate of chips. Probably fine for lunch, not great for dinner. Menu is very diverse. Nothing seemed to be outstanding, but if you were meeting a large group everyone could probably find some acceptable. Facilities are a little run down, might be time for a remodel. The handle on the entry door was loose, quite a few dings here and there. Not a deal breaker, but makes the experience a little less appealing. As it is, I'm not rushing back, but wouldn't make a deal of it if someone wanted to meet there.

It was a pleasant experience. I had myself a cheeseburger there. I wasn't expecting the flavor of the beef to be extraordinary but it was. I've been all over the united States and this had been a hamburger I'll remember. I will definitely go back for another. Buffalo thunder is also another place that has some awesome sliders
