I have been here numerous times because of the games, to say the least. If it wasn’t for my usual server I would not come here at all... the drinks are “lazy” I would say. There’s just no pride or sampling before they go out... I don’t blame the bartenders because they’re overworked and behind because of the patrons that come here... the food is atrocious... not even kidding. I’ve sampled different menu items every single time and I don’t know how management has not had a quality check.... overall I believe it falls on management... failure for quality check and adequate staffing. Perception is reality... look at the plating if you would like to argue. (Btw I ordered my burger medium rare and there was no seasoning to the meat). I gave two stars for the awesome waitress.

One visit usually is not enough to make a rating for a restaurant and bar. Even so, the rating is from an early afternoon visit where we experienced very good service and good food. I had the sliders which didn't look appealing but tasted great. Served with overcooked onion rings (twice fried?). They kept our beverages filled and were friendly. We will definitely try them again.

The one star is due to several factors: 1. As soon as we entered 90% of the "open" tables were dirty and full of dishes. 2. It took 10-15 minutes before wait staff acknowledged us. 3. I had to ask an adjoining table to view their drink menu. 4.After ordering drinks it was another 10 minutes before receiving food menus and 10 additional minutes for the drinks we ordered. 5. Once we placed our order we were informed we can only order "fried foods" due to the grill being down. 6. We ordered 12 wings, but were up-charged due to requesting 2 different sauces. They changed our order from the 12 wing order to 2, 6 wing orders. (It was corrected once brought to their attention.) 7. No running water in the Men's or Women's restrooms. (I wonder how the wait staff wash their hands when they use the restroom?) We were given wet wipes to clean our hands...after asking. NOTE: I rarely post a review of any establishment I go to. Actually, this might be my first...?

This is a cool spot to come hangout in with some company or alone! You can always make a friend with one of the awesome employees! The staff here is awesome and they have good service! We attend conference/sales meetings here in their big room made for larger parties! The food here is delicious and you get good sized portions! If you have room for dessert I definitely recommend trying the Cheese Cake 😋🤤

My favorite sports bar in town. Great wings and fried pickles, good prices on drinks, and just a fun vibe. Darts and pool are always fun as well.

A bit too loud for our party of 6, but the food was good and the service was exceptional.

The jumbo wings here are awesome! The staff was very friendly. The food came out fast and fresh. Plenty of tvs to watch and great beer selection.

I just go there for the chicken wings. I usually get the habanero garlic plus inferno sauce. Not sure if they have happy hour. Staff is polite. Sometimes find people to talk to. It's your usual sports bar. Even kid friendly.

The band was playing in almost total darkness, there was WAY more light on the dartboards behind them. Bars in Albuquerque, including this one, have got to start paying more attention to their presentation of live music.

Food was very good, onion rings were fantastic. Went with group of 25 with reservations. Staff short handed and service was not adequate. Waitress did best she couple but couldn't keep up with group at all.

Service is awful! 5 times out of 7 visits, the waitresses are awful. The 7th time the waitress was good but there was an issue with the food. The waitresses don't really pay attention unless you are in a big group or are paying your tab! Feb 2023 We had one waitress bring over the tab for $30 something but she didn't ask if we were done and she stood over us until we paid right there and then. Also, they get your order wrong. For better service I recommend sitting at the bar.... March 2023 Our last visit I tried to order at the bar, after waiting almost 15 minutes for the waitress to come take our order, the bartender said I had to wait for the waitress to take our order and she went and sent the waitress over to our table. Idk Menu Prices went up on drinks and food! Mixed drinks are terrible and watered down liquor. We paid $10 for a small drink listed on the menu, it had tons of sugar and made with only half a shot of liquor. I tried a draft beer and was served the wrong beer but I drank it anyway because I didn't want to wait anymore and was charged $9 for a 22oz during happy hour! I told the waitress when she brought our tab and she said she would talk to the manager to adjust the happy hour price but never did and she ran the our card anyway after waiting for 10 minutes. The waitress left a family waiting with their small kid for a long time also. Food is good but it is priced at fine dining rates! $$$$ The atmosphere is decent with lots of TV's to watch major sporting events and has dart boards and pool tables. This place is usually fun for super bowl or live radio remotes. The picture is from a September visit when our nice server brought my buddy these $8 cheese fries after they discussed it would be like nacho fries! We all thought it was a joke and yes those are 2 cheese slices. 🤣

Worst service ever. Cold food. Waitress had to touch the food to verify it was cold. Several workers watching the game. The beer never came. They could have cared. I rarely leave poor review. These guys need to step it up.

It is a really nice bar. Big but very quiet. Beer was very good. Waitress were very friendly.

My brother was physically assaulted for trying to leave the bar. He wasn't intoxicated, the security guard just decided he wasn't getting enough action on the job and completely blindsided my brother from behind. Left him with a lacerated eyebrow, sprained ankle, and severe bruising to his face. I do not recommend going to this place, especially if the establishment allows individuals like that to work there. The service is very poor and customers shouldn't have to worry about watching their backs while leaving.

Only rating a 1 star because the Michelada I ordered was fabulous, otherwise it wouldn’t been rated 0 stars. 10-15 minutes sitting down & we had to grab the servers attention to order. We ordered 2 appetizers., 1 of them came back wrong. Took another 30 minutes just to get refills on our drinks. Definitely would not recommend this place , especially when busy. It is a Tuesday night & there’s only about 30 customers.

Understandably when it's busy, you might have to wait awhile. Waiting for someone to acknowledge you've been waiting for 45 minutes is absurd.If you ask about wait time, you'll be told "be with you when we can". I almost felt like this place thought I should be honored to be there, when in fact there are God knows how many sports bar around. I'm assuming they have regulars that are treated like a customer, but the rest of us....not so much. The worst customer service I have ever experienced I have ever had

Came to watch the Chief play football, and they only had it on 2 tv's 👎, then service was very, very slow. Order food, not that great. My nm Philly was dry, no cheese, cold, potato fries cold nothing to dip them in. They forget about my beer finally after reminding I got it about 45 minutes later. Then i was cold wanted coffee and bailey's never hot that order. Don't think i will be back 👎👎👎 oh i forgot my husband ordered green chili chicken soup that was good and got his food way before mine and the appetizers.

This place has completely gone down hill since the new manager has taken over. He is extremely rude and all of the servers have quit causing the service to be non existent. We use to love going for the Steelers vibe on Sundays but we won’t be back. I hope the other Steeler fans find a new place to go soon! 50 minutes to get service today and when I complained, the manager told me it was my fault for taking so long to complain! Here I sit at Starr Brothers, excellent everything😁

The only reason I’m docking a star is because one of the guys was unprofessional on the phone. I simply called to see if they would have a game in that I thought wouldn’t be there. He wouldn’t answer my question and I heard someone else in the background say to hang up the phone on me, so he did. I went anyway after talking to the manager, watched the game ate some good beer and the food was good bar food. Service was fast. I’ll be back

Went in on a whim for a drink. Lazy Monday afternoon and not many people there. Standard fare from our viewing, but probably a really great place to watch a local game. Tons of TVs and great seating.

Some of the slowest service of my entire life. I also don’t believe my chicken was fully cooked due to the squishy texture of it. There’s got to be better places.

Worst “service” I’ve ever had. What a joke. Every bad review you read here is spot on. You’d get treated better at a Circle K or Maverik. Workers were blatantly drinking on the job, dropping glasses and drinks. Please don’t waste your time here. Go to literally any other bar and you’ll have a decent time. If you love waiting 45 minutes for a drink, then this is the place!

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!! I wouldn’t leave any star because how bad my service was when I came with two of my friends for my birthday dinner and drinks but I have to leave a start in order to leave my review.We waited 20 mins to order and didn’t get drinks for another 30min and the food we order didn’t come out for over an hour -mind you my friend order a side of French fries… took over an hour to get fries and our drinks were nasty not made correctly or anywhere similar to what we usually get and when I talked to the manager he said he would take care of it on our bill and when we got our bill he only took the fries off so I then had to tell them what to do and we still didn’t leave happy and paid for the worst service food and drinks made. And we where understanding that it may take awhile cause of covid but for other people to get there food and drinks before us when we were there before them… definitely will not ever recommend

My husband and I frequent this bar but we will never go back. I would not recommend it to any baseball fans because even though they claim to be a sports bar, they could not accommodate us when we requested for the Dodger game to be put on. After a while they got the game on a small tv in a corner where we couldn't even see it. When we asked about it again, the manager was rude and sarcastic. I understand there can be technical issues or something but he was not apologetic at all. What sports bar doesn't subscribe to MLB? Find a better place to go.

This place is good. The staff is friendly. They do seem to run out of food items a lot though. I would suggest coming here especially for sports if you want to watch on one of the 50 TVs they have which is awesome because no matter where you sit you can see.

Been going to this bar for years now, and I can honestly say I have never had an issue once. Most of the staff is nice and friendly and their food is bomb. It's nice to know that the bartenders are knowledgeable in making drinks whenever asked to. Plus pool tables are always open when I go.

The drinks were good , I had a Margarita , however the food was not great, way too much batter on the fish and onion rings, batter was too heavy, not light, and tasted of old fryer oil. The Cali Chicken I ordered had no Avocado on it, like it stated on menu, bun was very dry old perhaps, fries tasted of old oil as did the fried mushrooms, then we were told upon paying with Albuquerque City Gift Card that they no longer take them, service was okay, just seemed like she didn't want to be there.

Went there on a Thursday night to watch the game had to go ask for a menu. The waitress makes my fill up with another customer's and then I found out the next day I was double charged. Called and talked to a manager he said that the money would go back on my account but it never did. I will never ever go to Uptown sports bar ever again.

Steelers fans beware. I have been coming here for 15 years and will not be frequenting this location anymore. A traditional steelers bar, it is obvious the new manager is trying to run out the steelers fans. The last Sunday I was there, the steelers game was on a very limited number of TV's with preference given to other teams. I originally asked for the breakfast burrito that they usually serve for brunch on Sundays, only to be told it's not available anymore. So no more brunch menu. I ordered the fish and chips which came with a very skimpy portion and was not that great for the price. When paying I tried to use the New Mexico restaurant card and was told they do not take those anymore however, uptown is still listed on the card as an honoring location. On a positive note, a couple of the bartenders and waitresses were pleasant enough but the remainder of the staff including management was rude. You might account this to being a steelers fan but I was not wearing any steelers paraphernalia that day. Overall the place seems to be going downhill fast and I have heard similar grumblings from old management, staff and customers. Hopefully the owner eventually sees what is happening to his restaurant and cleans house.

I actually come here quite a bit and this evening of July 12 2023 I and my boyfriend was treated so badly last night by the bartender named jade who I have personally never met but I for sure will never have her serve me again to say the least she was disrespectful rude inconsiderate and even said to use after a single drink order that she was closing down switching us to a different bartender and continued to serve every other person there as the only bartender on duty at the time so not only did she lie disrespectfully to our faces ignored us and refused to even acknowledge us after waiting 15-30 minutes for drinks we orders because she decided to serve every other person before us the only reason I received this young ladies name is because I had to ask a waitress will be returning for current bartenders I enjoy and respect but this young lady needs a attitude check by management very badly to say the least

This place has really gone down hill ! From the manager to the bartenders to the servers . I used to love to come here and the atmosphere was always fun now it’s like a place where go to die . Food menu is awful , drinks aren’t very good unless you’re one of the regular suck ups . Straight heard the bartender tell another girl “ this customer didn’t tip so they can come in and get there own food if they want it “ like seriously TIPS ARE OPTIONAL not required so if you don’t like your job maybe you should pick a different profession . Sad to see such a good place mismanaged and run into the ground by people who don’t care about it .

Man, this used to be my spot.. what happened? The service was horrible.. HORRIBLE! After waiting half an hour with no one coming to our table to wait on us, we went to the bar to get our drinks. We finished our drinks, and yet no once came by to ask if we were doing ok. So i went to the bar to grab another round of drinks. The bar tender asked if I was sitting at a table, I said "yes". She then told me to have a seat and she would let our server know we needed another drink... no one ever came.. I am soo disappointed with the service..

First impression, the rotten beer smell. Met out friends here. Food was dry and cold. Service was terrible. Long wait time. One of waitress dropped food and ranch dressing all over my chair and my purse. Good thing that I was able to move out the way quickly otherwise the ranch was on me. They gave us a little bit of discount but yikes.

Took last place in last year's fantasy football league so I had to wear a dress to our draft this year LOL had a good time and Christian was a very good waitress for the second day in a row

Went to watch the Denver/Seattle game. It was a little cold inside, stepped outside to thaw out for a minute and this is where I give the 2 stars. There were people smoking 420 at the tables, legal I know, but very inconsiderate to others. I had to walk 50+ feet away to get away from the smell that soaked into the skin and clothes. I haven't reaked like that since the 1980's. If this place is turning into a pot haven, time to seek another place to watch games.

Came here to have a drink and a pice of Cheesecake tonight. The bartender sucked. Took 15 minutes for my daughter to get her second drink. Se was not paying attention to the east end of the bar. This was around 8 pm

I went on a Monday night, so it wasn't popping. However, the drinks were great and reasonably priced, great decor everywhere, and nice staff. Definitely recommend.

This place used to be good . The food is good and since its a walk away from the hotel we put up our next potential clients and employees. We bought the synergy gift cards for this sole purpose of accommodating new recruites. IT is solely these two restaurant and bar that asked to be taken down not synergy. To bad myself and family but also all the staff and clients we send through over there will NO Longer be spending our money over there. I had 3 potential clients and employess and there loved ones bw humiliated and treated poorly as its my companies fault there incompetance will no longer accept the gift cards. They were greeted with a low budget stoner movie "umm ya like sorry we dont even take those " "dunno why just dont" at best. No apology no let me take care of some of that for the inconvenience. Just a flat out i dunno? Clearly the staff doenst even know why ! Apparwntly these two places do not like money so my company and there families as well as myself will no longer feelnthe need to give them any. And since Alien and Uptown bar are the same money fearing owners / ceo's of these two restaurants off the Synergy gift card are no longer available. To bad 👎 is give that atrocity 0 if i could !!
