Overall, a very good experience! The bread is made in the house and very tasty but I’d like to see it served warm. The beet salad was OK, but to me it could use a little pop, like balsamic vinegar or blue cheese; it was too bland to enjoy. But the shrimp and grits and pasta were excellent and the sautéed and oven-baked mushrooms were possibly the best I’ve ever had in my life; seasoned to perfection! I’d definitely go back for more!

We got there on time, table was ready. The host was helpful and friendly. Our server Amanda, was amazing, next time we come back we’d love to have her take care of us. The food was extraordinary. It was our anniversary and we loved it there so much. Our first time going and definitely not gonna be the last. Their menu is amazing.

We had dinner at The Artichoke cafe in Albuquerque en route from skiing at Taos back home to New Jersey. What a wonderful delight! Service is so warm, personable and efficient. Our waiter described the dishes perfectly, recommended choices, and added the delightfully fun touch to the overall experience! Thank you, Sam! Food is scrumptious. Every dish is a perfect symphony of flavors. Cream of mushroom soup is a delicate blend of earthy mushroom tastes in a smooth base. Duck breast bypassed my favorite one at a Hudson valley restaurant near CIA (Culinary institute of America) - the spice rub on the skin adds a flavorful burst. And the lamb ragout is perfect - exploding with flavors and textures, with a bit of heat and a cool touch of whipped ricotta. And the orange-cardamom creme brûlée is a perfect finish to any meal!

Got beef tartare for a starter and it was nothing but delicious. Then got the Mahi Mahi with Farro and it was on point. Wife got the Rigatoni and Primavera. Make sure you bring an appetite cause there brownie sundae is a must get after all is said and done.

This cozy cafe has left the best impressions! Hospitable and attentive staff, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, wide wine list and wonderful dessert. I got the chocolate tart. For our entrées we got the beef tenderloin and the pan seared scallops. I recommend to everyone!

Probably one of the best meals I’ve had in Albuquerque. We ordered a bunch of different stuff and everyone was amazing. The pictures don’t do it justice. If you haven’t been you need to make this a stop. Amanda was great too! Definitely going back!

My wife and I were visitors to Albuquerque and had our fingers crossed on this upscale dining place. But the whole experience from reservations to dessert was exceptional. Flavors were unlike anything we had before. 5/5 for quality, taste, service and outstanding unique flavors! If you’re looking for an upscale dinner experience in ABQ, look no further!

Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good. I found Artichoke Cafe by a Google recommendation based off restaurants I goto and what was open. WOW. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and it felt like I was a regular, not a first time visitor from out of town. The food, beyond my expectations. The bread appetizer was amazing. Fresh, soft and the sea salt in the butter. Genius! I had the 6oz beef tenderloin and the winter squash. I don't know which one I liked more. Both were flavorful, and we'll beyond expectations. Not to forget the skills of the bar staff. I had an old fashioned and equally one of the best I've ever had. Kudos to the kitchen, front of house and bar staff. If you're in Albuquerque, this should be a stop for dinner.

This place has phenomenal food. Definitely the best I have had in Albuquerque. The dining experience was amazing from the service to the flavors on the plate. The French onion soup was the best I’ve ever had. The mushroom ragout was impressive. My dining partner ordered the steak and it was cooked perfectly. We also had great cocktails and wine. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone!

I was excited to try this place, but I was very disappointed! The food and service were subpar. We ordered appetizers, artichoke dip and bread which was okay. The main menu was utterly disappointing, most of items the waiter spent time selling us on were out of stock at 6:30 pm?!!!! No pasta, mussels or fish. Only thing decent left was the $58 steak, it came out cold and the center had a big piece of cartilage running down the center. The waiter never came back to check on us I had to waive him down to tell him the steak was inedible. He did give us a credit, but the amount of money we spent we won't be going back. The service and food quality is subpar for a restaurant with these prices.

What a great dining experience. Me and the family went out for a nice family dinner and we were delightfully surprised with the great drinks, lovely menu, and the nice atmosphere. The food options were reasonably priced and the appetizers were delicious. We dined for about 2 hours and made our way through 2 drinks, appetizers, and a main course. I had the beef tenderloin, and it was cooked to order perfectly. The side of fries, made in house, were a perfect crunch with a salty and zesty seasoning. My drink choice was the lavender margarita, and it was prepared with care both times. I’d love to go back and try more food! Great place to relax and grab a nice dinner.

Food was ok, but definitely not worth $75 per person with only one drink each and no dessert. Cocktails were candy-sweet to make up for lack of flavor. Service was fine. They were playing club music, not exactly the ideal backdrop to a fancy, relaxing meal. Better to pay more and get the value for your money at poblanos or somewhere like that.

My fiancee threw me a surprise 40th birthday dinner here and it was one of the best dinners I've had. They sat us in a private room for a table of 15 which was great in itself and the service was amazing. Food and drinks came out in a good timely manner and everything was delicious. I really appreciate the accommodations and the service they gave our party. I highly recommend anybody having a celebration or just for a nice night out to have dinner here. We'll definitely be back again

We celebrated a family wedding here with a lovely dinner for 10. Our server, Kyle, was fabulous & made our evening memorable. Everyone enjoyed their food & beverages. The pork chop was especially popular in our group. I'd definitely recommend The Artichoke Cafe for any special occasion!

If you are looking for a nice upscale dining in ABQ, this is the place!! The atmosphere is amazing, service is beyond expectations, and food is mind blowing. We ordered baked artichoke and green chile dip, bread and compound butter for appetizers. Cocktails were crafted beautifully. For the main course mussels posole was so good. The broth had a nice spicy kick and mussels cooked to perfection. The chef took time to stop by our table to take a picture with us. We had such a great time. Will be back to eat here on my next visit.

As frequent patrons of Artichoke Cafe, my wife and I cannot speak highly enough of the impeccable service, delicious food, and perfect cocktails. From the moment we walk in the door, we are greeted with warmth and hospitality by the knowledgeable and attentive staff. We have tried almost everything on the menu, and every dish has been expertly prepared and beautifully presented. The cocktails are some of the best we've had in the city, with unique and creative combinations that always leave us wanting more. Whether we're celebrating a special occasion or just enjoying a night out, Artichoke Cafe is always at the top of our list.

This was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. We came the day before the 4th of July, and the restaurant was fairly full. Everything about our experience was phenomenal, from the food, drinks, and staff; I would recommend this to anyone and everyone.

We've visited Artichoke Cafe for date night twice now. Once for our anniversary and once for a late Valentine's Day celebration. Both visits were exceptional. The food is phenomenal and the service is extraordinary. We made a reservation for both visits, and upon arriving asked to be seated in the back room. It's quiet, with only 4 tables. I can't recommend Artichoke Cafe more highly. We'll keep returning!

Delicious food, great atmosphere and service. The only thing that tarnished my experience was a drunk lady at the bar who seemed to be friends with the staff and was laughing very loudly the whole evening. It was annoying and inappropriate and I just wish the staff were more aware of it and asked her to keep it down.

Ambiance and service were fantastic. They have a delicious wine selection and the wild mushroom ragout was heaven. I'll be back for sure. 05.10.22 - I came back and the whole experience was fantastic all over again. Service was impeccable and food was delightful. Love this place.
