For a while this was the only brew-pub in the northeast heights area and was able to capitalize on its location. Now there's a Marble brew-pub a stones throw away yet Lizard Tail still manages to attract a loyal neighborhood crowd. From what I can tell the clientele are mostly older working class males who seem to prefer the older style small bar setting of Lizard Tail than the open warehouse style of Marble. Personally I don't come here as much as I did when it first opened but that's more because I find their house brewing style a little too watery for my tastes but I'll still drop by every once in a while just to support local businesses and help keep a variety of breweries open in the Duke City.

Our favorite #ALBUQUERQUE brewery. #lizardtail has the best selection of #microbrews in the city. Personal favorites are #doublechocolatestout and #redearthirish #desertnightindiablack it has a “cheers” type vibe when you walk in the first time... everyone turns to see who is coming in :) The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

Small space but the open mic and beers we amazing! I prefer pilsners and lagers both were crisp and refreshing. Has a smoking patio and outdoor couch seating.

Great place to get Mead. Mmm Great music 7- 10 on Saturdays. No food however , besides soup, popcorn and chips. Their "stage" needs some help too. One of only a few breweries with Mead tho.

Lizard tail brewery has craft beer. They allow groups to come in to have beer. I think that lizard tail brewery only serves beer. They don't serves any food at all. But they have really good craft beers. I will be going again very soon to this brewery. They let this one group from Meetup play board games there. I would go to Paradise square again to go have a couple of beers at lizard tail.

Good brew and chill atmosphere. I like the small batch brewing system. They brew 90 gallons of beer per batch. This is not a "micro brewery" by miller brewing aka Santa fe pooing company. There is no miller blud money fueling hipocracy behind these doors. The small batch brewing happening here is part of the real micro brew revolution the Miller blud money aka Santa few pooing co. is doing everything it can to kill. Keep small batch brewing alive by skipping the Miller blud money aka Santa fe pooing company breweries like marble and chama and cumbre. Go to the real micro breweries like this one. Good to the last drop. Nuff said.

Great and friendly service. Kind bartenders explained their beers and asked what were my favorites. Indoor and outdoor seating. Flights available with 4 beers. Clean restrooms. Plenty of parking in the strip mall.

The industrial location is wonderful! Deja is a fantastic bartender/server and hostess. Lizard Tail Industrial location is our new go to for service, smiles, drinks and food.

I stopped in to check out a band named "Misdemeaner", the band was decent and the female lead singer was particularly good, she was actually a performer, the rest of the players just stood there. Regardless, the band played in virtual darkness, the artwork on the wall and the beer menu were brightly lit but not a single light (of which there were many) was pointed anywhere near the stage area. I really wish the breweries would step up their music presentation a LOT.

Very good beer. However, the last 2 times I went to have beer, the place smelled so strong of weed I couldn't stand to go in. If you're into that, have fun, I'm not.
