I got kicked out before I even ordered anything. I was completely sober but I guess it was mistaken identity. I can sympathize with keeping the wrong type out but they should have better security because I had never been there before.

Boxing Bear Brewing Co is one of my FAVORITE breweries in Albuquerque! Their friendly staff and welcoming environment always feel comfortable, safe, and clean. Not to mention their top-notch selection of beers and food to keep you satisfied all night long. Support local!

Perfect atmosphere to sit and enjoy a Beer. You can sit under the cottonwoods on the patio or inside has an Irish pub type vibe. Great selection of 10 pinball machines too. Friendly bartenders and decent beers make this a great place to bring some Bahn Mi from nextdoor and enjoy an afternoon!

Astrid. The event coordinator is extremely rude and unprofessional. I was hired by former events coordinator Sierra Richey to play live music at this location. Apparently I did a great job according to customers and the two staff members that were working. Sierra said they'd definitely have me back. Unfortunately, Astrid took over the position and has been nothing but rude and apparently doesn't care about the quality of music being played for their guests. Sierra Richey was a much better coordinator and person.

Very much a "family" environment. Is family friendly. Bring all your kids and your dogs, smoke some weed, and then come to this place and let them free roam while you space out (online naturally), and no one will say a dang thing. New Mexico True.

Love this place! Great watering hole with excellent craft beer for the Corrales and west side community. Patio is the best especially in spring and summer; right on an acequia with a view of Sandia. Ride your bike here!

My husband and I wanted to celebrate our anniversary by visiting a brewery and Boxing Bear was a great choice! We love the logo (who doesn't love a bear with a boxing glove?) and look forward to buying a shirt or hat from their merch options. You order your beer from the bartending counter and then find your seat. The staff was very friendly, we asked our bartender to suggest two flights of lighter and darker beer options and he delivered! Our flights came in a bear claw shaped holder. For food options, Café Nom Nom (Vietnamese cuisine) has its own stand where you can order. We ordered pork buns and pot stickers, it was an awesome combination with our beer.

Great food, great drinks, great service. The patio is lovely and the events they hold are fun. The seasonal beers rotate often enough to keep it fresh but the house year round beers are excellent as well. I always feel welcome at Boxing Bear.

We got steak sandwich, chicken rice noodles bowl, and steak rice bowl. The sandwich was really good, the rice bowl was great even though the meat was a bit tough to chew and it’s hard to eat it in a full-load bowl, maybe with a plate would be easier. The flavor of rice noodles was good, but too bad it was extremely salty. Overall were good flavors and hopefully they will get better next time when we visit again.

Boxing bear does not care about long term customers,, they label and make false accusations.. they don't care about loyalty.. I do not recommend this establishment..

This place is awesome - long beer list (I recommend the AmBear Ale) and a decent pub food menu. Our waitress as also amazing. Highly recommend.

The food was very different than what I normally eat at restaurants. I have not had Vietnamese food before and it was very good. The owner/chief was very personable and explained the menu and what was in each item. We will definitely go back to the Nom Nom restaurant again. Next time I will have one of the craft beers.

Boxing Bear has risen to one of my favorite breweries. The atmosphere is low key which I appreciate especially when I need to unwind. The beer has consistently become more and more top notch. Cheers to the staff and brewers, they do a fantastic job.

I visited for the first time for lunch. There is a lovely outdoor patio but we ate inside. I was with a group and the staff was welcoming and accommodating. The food, Vietnamese, was excellent and I tried the sour beer, first time for me, and it was so refreshing and delicious. I would definitely return.

Great local watering hole with a nice patio area. Highly recommend their Uppercut IPA and New MexiKolsch. You can bring your own food in or they often have a food truck available.
