I’m a princess when it comes to hotels, but I can’t find anything wrong with Los Poblanos, we had the most perfect stay. The rooms were big, clean, nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable (although we did weigh the pillows weren’t feather), and they have their lavender products in the bathrooms which are amazing. The whole property is so gorgeous, and it’s so nice to stroll through the grounds and find hidden courtyards and explore the flowers. The food at Campo is amazing. We had snacks, dinner and breakfast there and we loved everything. Can’t wait to go back for a longer stay!

I would give this place less than a star if possible. The pretentious nature of the staff and management is palpable. Trying to reserve events that they feel they can't accommodate, results in them ignoring you and leaving you hanging without information. Also, despite having a farm and kitchen of their own, somehow disables them to be able to cater for private events. If you want to go into massive amounts of debt for little to no service provided, this is the place for you.

Beware of the signage! As I was driving in I commented to myself about the magnitude of signs posted as I was driving in, usually about every 10 feet there is a sign for something…. I arrived to a completely packed parking lot, the only open spaces are for electric cars, none of which are taken. I figure I’m only going in to the gift shop for 5 minutes and its the only spots open so i grab a spot. I go into the gift shop, spend some money on stocking stuffers…. In an ironic twist of fate as I’m coming out to my truck there is a sign taped to my windshield advising me of my poor parking choice. The sign taper clearly has some passive aggressive tendencies as they used a lot of scotch tape on my windshield (which is now a smeared mess of tape/adhesive.) Funny enough it is the taped right above my windshield wiper in the driver’s view, instead of just using the windshield wiper like most parking enforcers do. So now, i get to go to the hardware store and look for a razor blade and a Brillo pad this afternoon. Thanks Los Poblanos!

They had me at lavender. I went for my first Hacienda Spa Facial and loved every moment. Staff were lovely and knowledgeable about the treatments and professional. They were knowledgeable about the history of the farm and the building in which the spa was located. The facial, even though amazingly lovely was a little expensive for my budget. But it was a wonderful experience. I will probably go back a couple of times a year.

Such a beautiful place to stay. Everyone looks so relaxed and friendly. There are so many relaxing things to do. You are far enough from town, yet close enough to visit the beautiful sites of Albuquerque, Rio Rancho and surrounding areas.

We stayed the night hoping to make an easier early morning flight out of ABQ. The rooms were as advertised but not particularly charming or comfortable. The staffing was where they really dropped the ball. Two you woman working in their general store were beyond rude and unaccomondating. Could not be bothered to help in any way and really treated us like we were wasting their time. Is it that hard to find retail help? We had a dinner reservation the night of a big storm and the whole restaurant seemed to be affected. First they denied we made a res and then informed us they only were serving hotel guests due to an emergency. This was never fully explained and set the stage for the rest of meal. Served us the wrong app and the two entrees were small and plated cold. Spent over $600 for the evening and left completely unhappy.

I absolutely love Los Poblanos. From their rooms which are so comfortable and nice, to the peacocks running around, to the food being outstanding, and the pool is perfect. I've never had a bad experience. I go a few times a year and it's worth it.

What a shame…. This place could really be special. Charming vibe and location. Delicious food. However, the service in the restaurant was pathetically slow. We needed shuttle service to the airport, which the website said was available. Not true, didn’t exist. We had to catch an early flight and asked if Uber could access the property and were told that someone would be at the front desk 24 hours. The front office was closed, the front gate was locked and the Uber driver could not enter the property. We had to carry luggage 200-300 yards down the driveway to the front gate.

We went to the Tea Room for the afternoon tea service. The Ballroom is setup with nice linen tables cloths with authentic tea service china and appropriate utensils. The service consisted of three flavored teas served throughout the meal. The tea's have a wonderful flavor without the need of sugar or cream. The food was delicious and refreshing. The service was outstanding and refreshing. We took the grounds tour and the history and architecture are amazing. Local artist add the detail that makes this an amazing hidden treasure among the 100 year old cottonwood trees. We highly recommend this wonderful experience.

Truly one of my favorite places! I spent 5 days here (a year ago) and it was the most rejuvenating trip ever! The only issue I had was a beetle/roach, which they quickly came to rectify/spray and I had no issues beyond then. I stayed right on the farm and the lavender wafting is just divine. It’s impossible to be angry or stressed at this place— if you are, you need to prioritize rest and peace. Anyways, spend the money! I’ll be back

Stopped in for lunch and what a wonderful find. The food was outstanding, the cocktails amazing, and topped off with excellent service. Next time we will be going to stay and try the other offerings.

My family and I have eaten here many times and typically have a wonderful experience. Last week my mom and I came for dinner, and were really disappointed in the food. The steak was cooked with fake liquid smoke, and was almost inedible. Bread was served with a side of lard to spread on it, instead of butter. Gross. Hoping that this was just a fluke, though it is not the first negative experience I have had there. In the summer, the service in the farm store was so pretentious and rude that I vowed to never go back. Disappointed to find the food experience less than savory this time.

The nicest staff, and they're all super knowledgeable on anything you ask em. They always know what drink to pair with your food and it never misses. Their wine list is great and holy cow, their food is always delectable. Gorgeous restaurant and location.

We stayed for a few days, left and would not return. Arrival: nobody acknowledged to welcome us for an uncomfortable period of time. No other guests, just two people staring into the computers. Didn’t show us how to get our luggage to our room from the parking area. We had to ask questions and received abrupt answers. Our room had some dirt and debris left in it, kitchen and bathroom area. Both drinking cups were chipped and I cut my lip (slightly) while drinking from one of them. Brunch: we sat next to a couple who asked for an omelette and was told they will only add salt and pepper, no ‘extras’. Okay! Waiter also stated to them they no longer had blenders (what?!?!) in their kitchen so could not make any juices. We felt the waitstaff during brunch was more interested in keeping things convenient for them rather than catering to the guest. Shouldn’t be this way. Felt most things were a ‘no’. Asked for tissues, toilet paper (bathroom hardly had any when we arrived and no extra roll to put on once the previous one finished) and towels yesterday. Didn’t receive them until the next day when we went ourselves to the front desk to ask and pick up. Asked for coffee in the morning and didn’t get it till the evening. Helpful: Lady Bartender in the library bar The gentleman working housekeeping. Pro: peacocks and flowers - landscaping is well maintained. Appetizers during dinner were tasty and our waitress was pleasant. For this price, quality and just simple overall attention to the guest fiercely lacks.

This is such a wonderful respite in Albuquerque! I cannot recommend it highly enough. On my visit there were countless patrons taking photos of the beautiful environs, foodies enjoying Campo, Prom-bound high school students getting the perfect photo backgrounds, a beautiful relaxed wedding, and the rest of us travelers enjoying a unique stop especially compared to normal hotels during travel! The Farm Shop is so well curated it is hard to leave empty handed. Being able to just wander the grounds at your leisure is food for the soul. The rooms are exceptionally clean and well appointed. It feels like the perfect guest suite if your friends had immaculate taste and unlimited means. Room service is a dream if you feel like holing up in your room with a book and wine. Make an excuse to come to Albuquerque or stop here on your next driving adventure!

Campo is one of our favorite farm to table restaurants in New Mexico with a James Beard nominated chef. I even make a special trip to the farm shop to buy their sourdough bread and local sundries. Such a special oasis in Albuquerque filled with a lotus pond and lavender fields.

Overall, we were very pleased with our stay. The food and at Campo was phenomenal. The staff was more than knowledgable. The rooms were comfortable and well designed. We were a but disappointed with our "welcome drink" A half pour of house wine was a bit off-putting as we were staying there for our anniversary(multiple nights), going to the spa and ate at Campo 3 times. Something a little more special would have been appreciated. I was also a bit surprised that there was no hot tub anywhere. To me this is a standard thing most guests like to enjoy on vacation especially in beautiful scenery like Los Poblanos.

Such a beautiful location! We had breakfast at Campo and visited the Farm Store. Breakfast was delicious and so fresh. We loved the lavender forward drink menu, especially the lavender spritz and lavender peach arnold palmer. The chilaquiles and blue corn pancakes were so flavorful. The wait staff was wonderful. The farm store has an eclectic collection of lavender goods (soaps, salts, and gin distilled at Los Poblanos) along with cooking supplies and books. I highly recommend Los Poblanos if you're in the Albuquerque area.

Dropped into Los Poblanos for some tasty breakfast and a walk in the beautiful weather. We didn't have a reservation but we're used to dropping in for a seat at the bar if that's the case and we did get to sit right down. We're never disappointed with the cocktails or food so I have nothing to add there but I'm adding this review because we caught some great pictures of one of the their two peacocks and barn cat. Kids were enjoying the creatures as well, great times had by all.

We hosted a very small family luncheon at La Quinta after our wedding ceremony elsewhere and while we were trying to keep things simple and minimal, Janet and the whole events team went above and beyond in making it feel like such a special occasion. This was no surprise though because the reason we chose Los Poblanos was because the food, wine, service and setting is absolute perfection. I also stayed overnight and got ready for my ceremony here and it was one of the most luxurious hotel experiences ever. So glad we chose LP and can’t wait to spend many anniversaries here!

Understated luxury accommodations. Great splurge for special occasions. Campo restaurant on site has thoughtfully balanced farm fresh food and drinks. Farm shop has fresh bread, cheese, and numerous lavender products and gifts. Only downside is something here makes me sneeze constantly.

This place was exceptional the rooms were very clean were cozy and has everything you need. The service was some of the best I’ve ever had , service with a smile respectful just great. The location was beautiful and peaceful . The brunch at campo is some of the best the town has to offer , I do have to say dinner did dissapoint me today because there was nothing special about the flavor for the price it’s at but I count it as a fluke

We had one of the best meals we've ever eaten at this restaurant. We had four courses and each ordered different items so that we could share. Every dish was perfectly balanced with wonderful flavors and textures. Everything we had was exquisite. We also did the wine pairings and truly enjoyed each selection. Don't miss the lavender coffee - the perfect end to a wonderful meal!

The best of the best! I’ve stayed here a few times and loved each of the unique rooms we’ve had. The restaurant, bar and new patio are phenomenal. The gift shop and bakery are fabulous (although a little marked up) and the spa and yoga yurt are also amazing. You can’t miss this spot in. ABQ whether you are a visitor or local. A lovely place that makes you fall in love with the SW every time.

Located in beautiful Los Ranchos, the grounds feature magnificent cottonwood trees, quaint gardens and a lavender farm. The property is ripe for lovely walks - be on the lookout for peacocks! The market features an impressive assortment of goods, the quality of which is apparent (with price tags to match). I've stayed in 2 different room buildings and have been very satisfied with both, but I've never tried out the pool or spa. I always enjoy my stay here.

We ate their famous brunch at the restaurant and all I can say is it was awesome! We had the best waitress who was so sweet. The food was absolutely delicious, the cocktails were innovative and fun, and the scenery was so picturesque! We got the Eggs Benedict and Blue corn pancakes which I would definitely recommend either depending on if you'd like savory or sweet for breakfast. You also have to try their Lavender Earl Grey Tea which was delicious with their local honey. This is a great place to spend a few hours relaxing over brunch or for a stay at their Inn which was very nice and cozy looking! I would highly recommend you stopping in here! And definitely stop in the store to pick up some local goods!

We made a specialty stop at Los Poblanos to pick up some of their lavender salve. Amazing stuff! They have a quaint little shop where you can grab a coffee and some grocery items, as well as fresh sourdough bread. Would love to return when the lavender is in full bloom!

A bit pricey, but worth it. An historic old hacienda tastefully updated with modern conveniences. Perfect for special events, like one of my good friends is about to hold for his 95th birthday. Close handicapped parking and ramps up all steps. It's a romantic visit to how we were -- if you were affluent. It could be a museum.

Second time staying here. This time 4 of us in Field 11 - one of their family suites that accommodates 4 ppl. We stayed one night including eating dinner and breakfast at Campo. Dinner at Campo: It was a fri night and it was busy. Server was friendly. Their sommelier Graham stopped by to help us with some wine selection and he was lovely! Def the best person we engaged with that night. Each time the staff would bring us the food we ordered they dropped it off on the table without a word (typically I'd expect at least an explanation of what the dish was) and no serving utensils. Our empty plates stayed on the tables for way way too long with no bussing. Just really poor service and flow - especially for the price. Based on that one meal I would not recommend Campo. Room/checkout: The suite was nice. 2 bedrooms, cute living room w/small kitchen and a little patio too. It did the trick for sure! Here's my beef....I booked it at a $660 rate (which already felt a little pricey considering it is March but whatev). I check out and the room is now $720. I complained to the manager and turns out that the rate for the suite that is intended for 4 ppl (2 bedrooms, 1 king, 2 fulls) is based on double occupancy and therefore the rate was increased b/c we were 4 ppl. The policy makes zero sense to me. But, really it was the manager who could have easily resolved this and didn't and instead sent me a screenshot of the room T&Cs to prove her point left a really bad impression with me. Sadly, I won't be staying here for a third time and I share my experience for others to make their own decisions. I will also say I def did get a similar vibe that other commenters shared - in general, guests are kinda treated as cramping on the employees time/space and I really don't like spending money at places that aren't welcoming and warm.

Truly 5 star lodging & dining experiences. Cannot praise The Pobs enough. Their ability to execute the most delicious dishes with grounded spirit and commitment to local providers sets the standard. They’ve started afternoon tea at La Quinta and you shouldn’t miss out! Incredible hospitality.

I've been here for coffee and then for brunch, both times with guests to the area. The location is stunning and I highly recommend taking a walk around the grounds. Food is excellent and the atmosphere at the restaurant lovely. My only complaint is that the prices are really high for ABQ. I totally understand the need to charge for such high quality food, but I remember spending about $8 on a small latte.

  • 5/5 McKinley N. 11 months ago on Google
Beautiful outdoor space with great food. I only come through ABQ every few years but i also stop here for breakfast. Lavender latte is cozy and bright. I've never left feeling anything but inspired by the food. Tried the coffee cake for the first time recently and can't stop thinking about it. Staff is also phenomenal. Sit in front of some mountains and lavender fields and eat the fancy breakfast.

I… LOVE… THIS… PLACE! It’s tucked away and has beautiful views. The fact that’s it’s farm to table alone makes my heart (and stomach) smile! The food was amazing and the drinks were good as well! The menu changes frequently so you’ll never get bored of it and could enjoy seasonal favs! Our waiter, Austin, was exceptionally amazing! His suggestions and descriptions for our picky eater at the table were on point and greatly appreciated. The accompanying store was cute and had many items inside that were handcrafted. This is a place to check out and try in the Albuquerque area!

The staff was extremely friendly and the food was amazing. Would definitely recommend. Be sure to make a reservation before visiting as seating is very restricted and the chances of being seated from the wait list are very slim. But you can sit on the patio, enjoy drinks, appetizers, the wildlife and incredible views before sunset.

We did not stay at the Inn but shopped at the farm shop. This is a beautiful setting that is definitely worth a visit. The restaurant is reservation-only and is seating for about 1-2 weeks out currently. They feature a lovely menu with breakfast items, salads, and some brunch items. We did some Christmas shopping for family. While their farm goods are very high quality and worthy of high-end pricing, we felt the prices were a little too high.

  • 5/5 Mikayla J. 1 year ago on Google
Wonderful food and service. The lavender latte is a must try, and pretty much anything on the menu is great. Always appreciate the sustainability initiatives of Los Poblanos as well. Be sure to make a reservation ahead of time if you’re planning a trip here!

Outstanding location for your wedding ceremony and reception! Multiple areas to choose from to have your ceremony. Very elegant setting for dinner. Reception hall is just the right size for dancing. The coordinator is very professional, and experienced. Outstanding staff too.

This is one of my favorite hotels I have ever stayed at. It was so peaceful. I wish i could have stayed longer but i was just passing thru. The rooms are beautiful, clean and roomy. The restaurant is excellent.

It is like walking into the secret garden! There is so much to see and do! I highly recommend staying here! They have bicycles to borrow, farm animals to see, and yoga! At the end of my stay I finally read a sign that said they do the fancy afternoon tea! I will be back and I want to try their Lavender Gin! They were out when I last visited but I'll be back! The yoga instructor was amazing! I wish I remembered her name. I made my friend come with me and she said that the yoga session has changed her life and that she's never felt so relaxed and centered before. It was her first yoga class ever and I couldn't have been more pleased that the overall experience was as amazing as it was! The lady at the front desk was so sweet! She answered any and everyone's questions, no matter how repetitive they were, with such a relaxing voice and kindness in her voice. If it helps she was the lady at the desk November 6th, 2022 at 8:15 AM. She and the yoga instructor deserve shout outs! They farmer guy was also very sweet and told me about the different farm animals on the property. I didn't get to see the fuzzy chickens but I will find them next time I'm there! This place overall is a favorite place for me and my friends! We will be back 100%!
