Battered fries are awesome as is the gravy! Love the poutine. Short ribs are bomb. Great waitress and vibe. Can't wait to try the brunch.

Food was good, the service was soooooo slow which is why the 3 stars. If you are not in a hurry, then it's a fine place. Took maybe 15 minutes to get a server to our table, another 15 more to get our drinks, maybe 10 more to order. The food did come out pretty quickly which was good and the portions are a good size. We may be back to see if it's better one day, but it was not enough to say a definite return.

After another restaurant in that area screwed us over for our celebration, we were scrambling to find another close by to accommodate a large party.... Dave's to the rescue!! It was better food, better service than what we would have received at the other place, and a lot more intimate of a setting. Service was great!! Amanda was very accommodating and pleasant. The margaritas were strong and delicious. We will definitely be visiting again.

First time here, and we will most definitely be back! The food was delicious, and our server was fast and friendly. We had the biscochito peach cobbler for dessert. It was amazing!

Dave's is becoming our new favorite breakfast spot! We've been here a few times and have always had great service and food. Great portions and pricing too.

Food never disappoints. Save room for the amazing dessert peach something or another (can't recall the name) it has famous NM Biscochito cookie crumble😋. Unique decor, clean restrooms, and hopefully you'll get a nice waitperson...that's hit or miss unfortunately:(

Good meatloaf with calabacita and Mac and cheese. Broccoli cheddar soup was average. Kinda a weird smell to the place, but not enough to not come here. Had the desert fog hazy ipa, it was good too.

Very yummy food. Everything we tried was so delicious. The drink menu is very large and everything we saw/tried was good. The pinon coffee is to die for. The service is a bit slow, but not bad, only because they are so busy. Overall spent about 1.5 hours waiting to order and for food.There was a line of people waiting and not any clear way to hear who was being called due to the layout of the waiting area. We came for brunch on a Saturday morning and it was packed. By 1:30 it started to clear out. The waiters are all friendly and answered all our questions. Amazing place. Definitely will be back!

Great place for comfort food with some menu options that dial it up a notch. Good service in two distinct dining areas with very different ambiances. Friendly staff who check in to make sure everyone's taken care of. Wide variety of options to satisfy varying tastes. Full bar with great selection of liquors as well as some wines and even offerings from local breweries.

My husband and I enjoyed lunch. We were seated right away. Our food arrived quickly and was delicious. We will be back!

I finally got to try Dave's, and I'm glad! I was intrigued by their menu that I read online-a mixture of American, British, and a splash of New Mexican. I wanted to re-experience my time in the UK, but that will need to wait until I return for brunch so I can try the beef short ribs with bubble and squeak. Clean, neat dining room and restrooms with abstract art on the walls and warm, homey decor. Very welcoming energy. Megan is a fabulous server and knowledgeable about the menu. I went on a weekday morning for breakfast, so I beat the rush hour. I had the quiche lorraine with calabacitas, which has squash, corn, red pepper, and onions-moist and well seasoned. The quiche was flaky, buttery, and moist. Excellent coffee! One of the rare restaurants that makes the coffee strong enough for me to enjoy-keep up the great work! Updated: Had the short ribs with bubble and squeak. Meat was moist and flavorful, I had just a little of the potatoes, which had small bits of Brussels sprouts in them. Glazed carrots were good.

I treat myself to Dave’s Valley Grill since 2022 and it’s clean and well seasoned place in the Los Ranchos area. The staff is always nice and place is family-friendly. I have taken a few friends there and they love 💗 it. The food is always fresh and well prepared and presented nicely. Most of their desserts are HUGE! They even bar/lounge area. Restrooms are clean as well. I even met the owner who is very nice man. Price range $11-$19 matches large plates overflowing with food. Dave’s Valley Grill is worthwhile place for breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks!

The experience I had today with my husband was really amazing. We came in and were seated right away. I like that you are able to see some of the kitchen when coming in to see how clean it is etc. My husband and I sat down in the new updated bar area. It was beautiful and chill as you can see in the photo it had very good lighting that was soothing and relaxing for brunch. I got 9 dollar mimosas which included 3 free refills (this is what they consider bottomless and it was a great deal, I believe it is 4 glasses 🥂 total for just 9 dollars total so it is like you are paying 2 or 3 dollars per glass) I got the whiskey pancakes 🥞 and my husband got the breakfast country bowl. The food was well made and came out fast. Our server was extremely attentive and nice. I felt taken care of the whole time. I forgot her name but she had short colored hair. Thank you to our server! Everything was clean and great.

First time went for brunch. Place was packed. It did take awhile for our food to arrived. There was mixup with the orders but they fix it right away (which was less than 5 minutes which was impressive). Server was amazing, everything we ordered was phenomenal. Honestly the price wasn’t bad. Great value for the portions you are getting. I do advise to come early since there’s a wait.

Best comfort food I’ve had if you’re in the north valley this is a must stop they need to put their open sign outside so it’s easier to see that’s about it. I just know the place well cause I drove by here all the time had time today to stop for lunch. Thank you so much to my server for helping me decide this was the best choice.

I’m on a quest to eat at all of ABQ’s brunch spots and Dave’s did not disappoint. Great service by all the wait staff, yummy turkey sandwich on focaccia, handmade onion rings, and delicious chocolate piñon coffee. Icing on the cake?? Free wifi! I settled in, enjoyed brunch, and knocked a lot of things off my work to do list! No one rushed me out! Will definitely be back!

We've lived in the North Valley for 2 years and somehow only first discovered this place about a month ago. I'd driven past many times and didn't even know it was there until I saw a review on here about it and decided to go in for brunch. I sat in the beautiful new Lounge area and had Ham and Asparagus Benedict and a Cranberry Mimosa. Both were fabulous, cooked just to my liking and seasoned perfectly. The young man working in the bar area was extremely prompt and attentive! We've gone back every weekend since then. Some of our favorite items so far are all of the Benedicts, the Steak Poutine Fries(believe me when I say I would come here just for these and a beer), and the Ribeye Omelette. Long story short, give this place a try this weekend, breakfast and dinner are a must try!

I'm 50/50 on this place. Burgers had really good flavor. Sweet potato waffle fries were also amazing. Unfortunately, prices were a bit high, and "upgrading" to onion rings for $1 replaces tons of fries with 5 small onion rings. Our salad also had 2 tomato slices, 2 cucumber slices, and a bowl full of lettuce. Disappointing... Staff was good and food was fresh when it came out.

Happened to be in the area and came upon Dave's Valley Grill, decided to get a take-out order for me and the family and I have to say the atmosphere is very relaxed and a very nice decor. Was impressed with how the staff greeted me right away and took my order immediately at the counter. I can't wait to try this seemingly delicious food that from the looks of it people just love, and to see the dishes coming from the kitchen pilled high wow! They have a great variety to choose from and very reasonable prices. Will be updating on the taste and quality of the food.

Very good salmon, burger, fish tacos, fajitas, chipotle chicken. Informal atmosphere. Very pleasant waiter. Reasonable prices.
