The pizza was great, the staff were friendly. My friend and I are from Italy so our opinion matters. Mario, the owner talked to us and was really friendly, he is very young but still very good at managing his nice restaurant. Highly recommended.

I wanted to treat my friend to lunch before she had to get to work. I didn't expect fast food but I expected to EAT within the hour and 15 minutes. A nice elderly lady showed up behind us and a family in the corner about 20 min after we ordered. They got their food BEFORE us and were leaving about the time my friend had to leave to make it to work on time. She waited til the last minute for food before her boss called her. The only food we got was the appetizer and a half salad with coffee and tea in that hour and 15. I canceled my order and paid for the app and drinks. How long does it take to get a Caprese Salad and Chicken Alfredo? I had to apologize to my friend because she didn't eat aside from the appetizer. Got a disingenuous "sorry. I don't know what happened." from the waitress. There were more workers there than tables taken by patrons. I pointed out the lady and the other party who were behind me ready to pay AFTER they finished their lunch in less the time we WAITED for ours. The waitress and cashier just STOOD there silently while taking my money for Ice Tea/Coffee/Appetizer. It's a shame the appetizer was delicious. I'm a restaurant manager of a tourist heavy place and I know there are ways to keep the food flowing and timely even on busy days. You guys weren't busy.. I know cuz I a made it a point to bring that up. It looked a nice place. Perhaps we were not the clientele they want. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. Gluten free options are available, however the gluten free pizza only comes in 12in size and cost $3 more. It is very good though, plenty of cheese and toppings! Try the strawberry Italian cream soda, it's very tasty!

Stopped by after swimming for a Pizza slice. Ordered a Hawaiian pizza and hot fudge brownie sundae. The pizza slice was made fresh and came out quickly. Delicious pizza, great crust, and fresh ingredients. The sundae was larger than the Pizza. Fast and friendly service. A good place for Italian food. I need to go back for their Chicken Marsala. Definitely a place to check out.

You know what? I generally like Mario's. I've had excellent dining experiences @ other locations in the city. Tried this one on 4th during the lunch hour a couple of times. They weren't busy and I ordered salads both times, as I thought they should most likely be ready relatively swiftly, but apparently they have to grow the lettuce!? Service is sooooo slooooow. Servers seem like they couldn't really be bothered to act welcoming, or friendly, or attentive, but it's not like they were running around with alot to do; most of the tables were empty. Now I think i understand why!

This place had been suggested a lot through social media. But I had been to other pizza joints here in Albuquerque & been disappointed. I came in here apprehensively & left optimistic! I ordered take out for Sunday football! I’m so glad my family & I enjoyed it because now we can have pizza close to where we live. This will be our new pizza joint. The ladies who gave us our pizzas were also very nice! Shout out to them! For three people we ordered One Large Supreme, One small bacon chicken green Chile ranch pizza, & an order of baked lasagna with the delicious soup of the day. All for 62 dollars! We still had leftovers! Everything was delicious & I couldn’t recommend this place more!

I went in with my grandmother after not coming in for a good 5 years and the experience was absolutely delightful. I had the pleasure of meeting Daniel, who was our server. He was very kind and attentive to my grandmother and I. We got the 2 for 22 and it was too much food for us to eat completely, which is great! Everything tasted delicious!

DELICIOUS local Italian fare. We stopped here on a recommendation while we’re visiting from out of town. It 100% lived up to the hype. Our table split many dishes, the most notable of which were the lasagna and meatball sub. Everyone left happy and very full. Fortunately, it doesn’t cost your left kidney to afford the quality either. Staff was super great, even though they’re understaffed. Service did not suffer an ounce, so kudos to the folks there and the culture they’ve built to endure. Big thanks for a fabulous dinner!

My son and I went there for pizza, but everything on the menu looked delicious. Finally did settle a large pizza, it was great. I had tiramisu for dessert and he had cheesecake. Both were excellent. The service was very friendly, everyone was helpful and attentive. Will be going back to have some of the other dishes.

They didn't initially get the pizza made correctly, but they showed me the pie before leaving which allowed me to catch the problem. They immediately fixed it and apologized. They only got 4 stars on the service because it wasn't done right the first time, but I don't hesitate to recommend them any differently.

Pizza was very good. Garlic cheese bread was good, but greasy. The pieces of cake are HUGE, but kind of dry and not worth $14.99 a slice. Service was amazing. She was very helpful, polite and friendly.

This was the first and last time ordering from Mario’s. Ordered the garlic knots and fried mushrooms in addition to a medium pizza. BOTH are so overcooked I can’t eat them. One side of the garlic knots are burnt. Those 2 items were almost half my $50 bill. Not at all happy!! Only thing eatable is the pizza.

Ordered take out. The food and service were awesome! I'm a Chicago girl who knows what pizza should taste like. 😋

That's place is very nice, like a old trattoria in Italy. Pizza was very good, very big variety of food and beverage. Nice time to spend there.

Whoever filled this box with burnt bread and thought it looked like something someone would want to eat, should be fired. If you have garlic knots delivered, the garlic oil comes separately, leaks all over the bag and box, and then it’s supposed to be absorbed by these crusty burnt chunks of bread? No. Pizza was fine. Very floppy crust.

Food is always delicious at Mario's. Had brunch with a good friend of mine here, and I can't wait to come back. Service is great and prices are very reasonable.

Went with a friend and I was not disappointed. My friend got a calzone which was made fresh and tasted great. I got the lasagna and it is now in my top 5. For desert we got a slice of chocolate tower cake and it was big enough too feed us both. I will be going too this establishment more often.

My favorite Italian restaurant to go to. NO MORE Experience than other fancy Italian restaurants and good size portions. Great service.

Went to eat here on Friday. We were greeted with a smiling face. Our server was great and food was delicious 😋😋 I've never had a problem here. I highly recommend Mario's ☺️

Food smells great! Placed a pick up order, was told it would be ready in 25 minutes. After waiting 40 minutes I was told it will be about 10 more minutes, "we only have 1 guy prepping"! We'll see how much longer it will be...not optimistic.

Best pizza I've had in a long time. Salad and bread sticks were very good as well. I'll be making a special stop here when I'm in Albuquerque again.

We made a slightly impromptu stop and so glad we did. The food was good and the portion sizes were very generous. Definitely worth going to if you're craving Italian food. Now just be warned they do inform you that they are currently short staffed, but even so our service was great.

Always pass by but had never stopped. Today we decided it was time to try it. Food was great. I had ordered a New York Calzone. It was pretty good. They also had a selection of red and white wine, as well as draft and bottled beers. The menu can be somewhat confusing as there is so much. All in all was good.
