First of all the stench in there was unbearable, I could’ve easily puked 🤮. Horrible! Counter was dirty, with sticky floor, disgusting deplorable establishment. My drinks had overflow spills on the sides, I asked three times for them to wipe it off. Two of those it was quite apparent I was purposely ignored. Lucky for them I love ill mannered young adults, I had plenty experience with them in my lifetime. Somewhere in their foggy self entitlement state of mind, my voice was heard loud and clear. I’m not coming back here, no thank you. I’ll stick with Keva and Juice it Up, they know how to effectively run their businesses.

The salad I ordered is full of rotten lettuce. I'm not even half way through and cannot finish it. I tried to call but no one answered and there is no option to leave a voicemail. There should be some sort of expectation from the staff not to serve rotten food.

While the food and smoothies are always good, the cleanliness is horrendous lately. Two broken glass lights, falling roof panel, and thick dust EVERYWHERE.

Been going here for years with friends and family. Today is the last time. This place always has had issues with less than friendly staff, that tends to happen with teenagers at entry level service jobs. One particular staff member was very rude to a friend and I this weekend. Unfriendly, poor attitude, showing zero emotion towards people and giving scowling looks. She messed up drink orders for 3 customers and was very rude and would roll her eyes and give bad looks to the other girl working that told her to correct the drinks and use ice. She made smoothies with water only and no ice, I guess she felt this was enough effort to do a good job. I went in today and the same employee was there at the register and with the same attitude she gave to my friend and other customers this weekend. I thought ok great, well I was polite and friendly regardless of the previous experience. I gave her my order, she would look off in other directions; roll her eyes and mumble when talking. So friendly…. What’s worse is the manager was right there and did nothing to correct this employee. I was waiting near the register for the rest of my food order. This employee finishes making my drink, gives me a dirty look, and proceeds to walk to the far end of the counter and tells me to pick it up there. I don’t know what her problem is with people but with that attitude she will have a life time of places like McDonald’s to look forward too. I made a comment to the manager about her attitude and that she treated my friend and other customers the same way this weekend. I’m sure it fell on deaf ears though. Needless to say, my family and I who would visit once a week or more won’t be back.

Young lady working Mon Oct 24th at 10:45am was condescending. I was picking up an online order. She tossed the sandwich at me & then rolled her eyes when I asked for a bag. All other online orders were in bags. I did nothing to deserve this disrespect. I chose to quietly leave w/out food. She proceeded to come outside & yell about food. I did nothing to deserve this disrespect.

Worst customer service I've ever seen in my LIFE. Went around 6 pm on 3/29/30 and the employees hid in the back. We could hear them laughing when we walked in, but suddenly went quiet and wouldn't come up. After 5 minutes an employee finally came up, was super rude and short with us and acted like they were SO annoyed that they actually had to do their job. Worst part is my wife got her smoothie she's gotten for years and it tasted worse than it ever has before. Customer service is non existent and food quality has gone down terribly. If someone from Tropical Smoothie Cafe is reading this, you really need to worry about the night crew you had on 3/29/30

Worst experience ever. Walked in and was greeted with “CASH ONLY” luckily I had cash but was given dirty looks by the workers becuase I continued to walk in. They were cleaning up as if they were ready to close but it was only 7pm and the hours posted said 8pm. I asked if they were open and they answered yes but some rude employee who clearly hates her life said something under her breath. I didn’t respond to her because I didn’t hear what she said. Like I’m sooooo sorry you have to do your job. I worked customer service for years and I totally understand when someone comes in right before you are ready to close but you continue to do your job. With a smile because you are still on the clock and are getting PAID.

I should have looked at the reviews before coming to this place. I never write reviews on anything, but the customer service was the worst I’ve ever experienced. I went last night, 1/26/23 at 7pm. As I walked in all six of the girls working, were sitting on a table on their phone and so I thought they might be closed. I went up to the counter and they asked me what I wanted, and I asked for them to give me a couple minutes, and the nasty attitude began there. I didn’t think much of it so I chose what I wanted and let them know I was ready. The girl asked me what the name on the order was and how she held in her laugh. Again, I didn’t care much to do anything about it. I just wanted to get out of there because I was tired and wanted to go home. Then I was given the wrong smoothie and when I told them that it was the wrong one, they tried arguing with me about what I ordered. I know exactly what I ordered and it wasn’t the smoothie that they gave me. After a bit of back-and-forth, they finally remade it. The girl that made my smoothie and argued with me was on her phone while arguing with me!! But they kept looking at each other and holding in their laugh. It was just overall uncomfortable to be in there and their attitude is beyond catty and just stupid mean girl vibe. I don’t know if they think that attitude makes them look cool?? It just makes them look childish. I could tell there was no manager there and I hope that the manager sees this and addresses their employees accordingly, because it is so unpleasant to be in there.

the smoothies were fine but what ruined it for me was the attitude! not a single hello as i walked through the door, and the dirty looks were unbearable. it’s almost like my existence offended them. as a service worker myself, it doesn’t matter how much you hate your job, you do it regardless with a smile on your face.

I visit tropical smoothie often, and I’ve never had complaints. But the last time I visited it was dirty, and the smoothies tasted like the fruit was expired. They don’t wash their blenders. When I asked to speak to the manager Alysha, she had a huge attitude and was rude. I won’t be returning to this location.

I'll admit, I've never been much of a smoothie person, but this location has changed that 100%! Their smoothies are fresh, delicious, made quickly and are huge for the price. There's a lot of great options to choose from to fit any taste. My favorite is the bahama mama. Staff is super kind and energetic. You gotta give this place a go!

Came to pick up an uber eats order & decided to try a smoothie I'm not sure how I felt about it maybe I'd have to go backnin and actually look at the diff options it was icey normally at my other smoothie spot its more creamy with supplement options... the edible straw was cool tho! Smoothie guy wasn't helpful at all didn't recommend anything even after i said I've nvr been there

Stuff isn't so friendly. Unsanitary they will take money not wash hands nor change gloves and prepare food. Used to be my favorite place not so sure now did discuss it with the manager, she said she was going to handle the situation. I will be going back because it is my favorite food and I hope changes have been made.

Great food, staff was mix of friendly and some thick issues. From what I can tell 3 friends are here. One looks like they got a free smoothie but can’t confirm. The other 2 friends grabbed 2 sodas out of the kitchen (not in uniform) Then just grabbed some chips off the shelf and started eating it. Food was wonderful, but whoever is the owner, it seems like there’s some careless theft going on. I watched someone come in with a tank top and lean over the counter and fill their shaker bottle up, that water flows right towards the Ice bucket used for smoothies. 1 staff meme we had a friend who they keep whispering too at the counter. Please make sure this place stays open! It was flavorful, but there’s some loose ends here just observing…. Food and smoothie were great!

Love this place! If you are watching your sugar intake ask for them to omit the Turbinado or to add Splenda instead. Food is always good. Servers are always awesome.

Always such a delight to eat here & the smoothies are so delicious & have so many variations to select from. Pretty friendly staff & very well kept dining area.

Worst customer service! Nothing but rude young kids who have 0 work ethic. Hailey was extremely rude! Asked if there was a manager available told me nope. I then ask her whats with the attitude and she responds whats wrong with your attitide! This place needs entirely new management and employees. I blame it on management for allowing people to take charge of their facility and business and act the way that they do! Unprofessional! They all walk around with attitude filled with entitlement. No thanks! I'll pass.

The service was quick, very friendly, and informative. The turkey sandwich was delicious! Fresh ingredients and the bun was just right! I stopped by because it was convenient, but I need to think of eating here more often!

Didn’t get welcomed as I walked in wasn’t even seen for 15 minutes I was walking out and he said hello. The girl with purple hair had her EarPods in so she couldn’t hear what I was saying. I ordered the island green and I asked for extra mango, she was like it doesn’t come with app but I can add it and I was like OK she was like so add avocado and I was like no mango and she was like avocado and I was like no mango didn’t say anything I ordered the second drink and the two sandwiches, they hand me the two sandwiches, and one smoothie she didn’t even put in the second smoothie The food in the smoothies are really good but the service needs improvement

Pretty stressful when you’re waiting for your smoothie. Been over five minutes and it’s just sitting in the blender while the employees chat and order Starbucks on their phone. Asked for a refund and I got attitude and was told it’s only been sitting in the blender for two minutes and isn’t bad in quality. As a paying customer I didn’t get my product. But all three of your employees in this picture got their Starbucks order in and paid over $30 for it because the one who paid complained about it. EDIT TO ADD; Also, as I reviewed the refund receipt they didn’t refund the $2.50 tip I left them. I’ll be calling corporate and providing a copy of my bank statement for proof.

The staff is rarely friendly here not gonna lie, but they hustle to get your food ready and someone's that matters more. I always then for getting orders out within 5 to 10 minutes for having to make smoothies and food! They are very consistent and always delicious. About 15 bucks for a smoothie and medium sized flatbread. I love the breakfast options after a workout. Healthy and tasty.

If only 0 was an option... made our food wrong, then "out of eggs, sorry what else do you want..." snotty and rude, 2 little high school girls being little B$%^&@, if you want to be treated poorly and have a poorly made smoothy here you go, and f off if we make a mistake because we won't fix it.
