Serene place to walk. within Albuquerque still far away from the traffic. Now it's the best place to watch sandhill cranes, geese. Huge expanse of agriculture land with even trails to either walk or run.

It was beautiful there. I have fun watching the Sandhill Cranes and the Canadian Geese. The trails are nicely kept and there are friendly people out there.

You'll never believe you're in the middle of the city when you visit this place. Lots of areas to explore. It's a bunch of open fields with roads through the area and irrigation ditches, with a community garden on the northwest side of the fields. Full of all kinds of animals... Coyotes, porcupines, crawdads and fish in the ditches, some beavers, skunks, lots of birds especially during the migration times, and the wetter seasons lots of toads that make a ton of noise especially at night. There is dog poop bags and a few trash cans, no drinking water, one bathroom at the parking lot off Montano. You can take some great photos in this area too! Go check it out!

Beautiful space for a nice walk or run. Would recommend to get some fresh air and get away from the city sounds.

This was an effort of the general public to campaign for allowing the open space to be used for community benefit. The gates that allow the vehicles are actually locked and so it is walking only trail.

We enjoyed walking through the pumpkin and chile fields with our granddaughter. She enjoyed the piano and couches set up in the sunflower field. What a fun place! We bought pumpkins and honey and truly enjoyed a beautiful day.

We were vendors at the Maize Maze Festival. It was a great place, under huge cottonwood trees. In the morning, the sky was filled with Hot air balloons, cranes, and Canada Geese. It was magical!

Very Very disappointed. Chili field was not even taken care of . The few chili that was on plants were small n wrinkled. More weeds then anything Hopefully they pay better attention to fields next season.

Loved it! But don't forget your water and sunscreen! The watermelon lemonade from Big Jim's is the best

A rural swath of public land smack dab in the city, Los Poblanos Open Fields (not to be confused with Los Poblanos the private farm resort) is a lovely spot for a walk or run year round. Leashed dogs are okay. There are port-a-potties. Bring water.

Beautiful and enjoyable place for a walk, jog or run on a dirt road. Not much shaded areas, so sunscreen, sun gear, and water is recommended. Large parking lot, however no indoor bathroom facilities.

Great open place to chill out with nature and walk your dogs. I saw Ravens, Sandhill cranes, Canadian geese and winter black birds. All making their beautiful sounds. I love this place. 😍

This is a cool place. We like to go here when in Albq. In the fall, there are lots of Canadian geese and Sand Hill cranes migrating through.

A wonderful place for a nice walk with views of the 3 sisters volcanoes on one side and the Sandia mountains on the other, and sandhill cranes and Canadian geese to keep you company in the winter.

My daughter ran a 3k run there. Orange Theory sponsored the run. Wonderful place to visit for a walk or a run.
