The river looks very low now but it's still a very beautiful place to walk with your dogs. There's a few trails, long or short depending on how much you want to walk. One trash can at the entrance and another towards the NE side. It's more beautiful during autumn because the trees turn a beautiful color. There are a few sitting benches along the trail. I take the long trail and it's about 45 min walk. Great spot for doggies to find sticks! There's also a few trails that lead to the rio where you can let the doggies swim.

Absolutely beautiful, wide, walking trails with access and views of the Rio Grande. Spotted some gorgeous peregrine falcons, chickadees and finches. Lots of friendly people walking their dogs.

Very pretty trails with lots of shade and easy to access paths. You get to see the Rio Grande and awesome mountain range view in under 20 minutes.

The beauty here amazes me daily. I always say to my husband, “this place should be charging admission, how are we the only ones here?

Took a quick hike in this area and we were amazed. The trails were in great condition and lots of information displays on hand for us to learn from! Although we only hiked, the trails seemed also great to bike next time!!

Nice wooded bosque area, easy trails with river access. We love going here to walk the dog. Usually see cranes and geese. Two coyotes avoided us but were unconcerned with our and other walkers' presence, so keep your small dogs close and leashed.

It's a nice trail that looks to be pretty well kept up. Looking at the maps I thought it would have more views of the river, but there was really only one spot that got all that close to the river. When I went it was during the monsoons and parts of the trail were flooded and very muddy. It was still a nice walk. The road to the spot is pretty easy to miss and it's a bit on the thin side of things. The road is maintained it's just something to keep in mind with larger vehicles at busier times.

I really like this trail! I’m not an animal person per say but I do love how other people really enjoy them!! :) I say that’s cause there’s lots of people walking their dogs! :) not really a hike more of a walking 🚶‍♂️ trail honestly for the local neighborhood which is way cool but anyways the walk was nice and I spotted a cool couple things for sure!! :)

Beautiful place for photographers and casual hikers. Google Maps is off, but if you figure out how to get here, you’ll definitely enjoy it! Gets very busy during “golden hour” so I recommend photogs stopping in during the weekdays for any paid or pro work. I had a hard time getting shots without people in them or without someone running to catch their off-leash dog (sigh)...

Google Maps is incorrect, delivered me in neighborhood. Luckily, resident gave me correct directions. Easy hike with great views of 100-year-old cottonwood forest, Rio Grande River, Sandia Mountains and many birds.

This trail is a really nice mild walk. It was a bit before sunset and we made it just in time before it got dark. About 2 miles all the way around. We were there about a total of 1.5 hours taking in the scenery and putting my feet in the river. I will bring my elderly mother next time since she has a walker and this trail will be easy for her to walk.

Great place to go for a walk, take pictures, enjoy a book or hang out on one of the beach by the Rio Grande River. There are a few coyotes and Bobcats along the bosque so be sure to keep watch over your pets.

Nice little area to go for a walk. Very well maintained trails, great for biking as well. Easy access to the river. Love taking my dogs here. Lots of wildlife. One of my favorites in the bosque!
