Small park, with a tranquil Waterwise demonstration park next to it. Winding paths, plenty of benches - many are shaded. Nice to read a book, have a sandwich. Enter from parking lots south of the Esther Bone Library.

Actually, there are two parks here: Veterans Memorial Park and Waterwise Park. It's a lovely place to stroll around and admire the trees, bushes and plantings. It is maintained well and is situated between the Rio Rancho Post Office and the Rio Rancho Esther Bone Memorial Library.

What a nice oasis in the middle of the hot desert! The green grass, trees and fountain create such tranquility to this park. The peacefulness of the allows you to pause and remember the sacrifices and dedication to duty our veterans gave for our country and citizens. If you need a break from the hustle and bustle of every day life, come to this park and take some time to learn about our veterans and the conflicts where so many served and died for us, the citizens of the United States of America.

Free, small, and beautiful. Well taken care of. Plants are labeled like a botanical garden. Short trails around the area that allow you to appreciate nature. It really is nice to go to as this memorial is greatly maintained.

The outdoor concert are finally starting back up after being paused for covid! I'm so happy for the community feeling and for being able to allow my baby to experience a variety of music pieces!

Nice quiet place to read next to the library. The flowers are blooming in the garden and it’s beautiful. Dogs allowed, bags at entrance of the library parking lot. More kids should utilize it!!!!

I love the garden part of this park! Very cool native plants and a nice dog park. There's always bunnies and squirrels. There's a few benches throughout the park and a veterans memorial wall.

Nice clean little park we like that most of the plants are labeled so you can see what would work in garden.
