👍👍 Fantastic place to play Pickleball! 2 volunteers rotate the paddles so you rarely play with the same person and there are challenge courts too. Very funny social environment with lots of laughter with competitive and non-competitive play. People often mention park, courts, tennis, play, kids, Great, parking, fields, playground, pickleball,

At 17 acres this is a large park. Not me and my border collies usual park, but a pleasant change. We're there during the week, early afternoon not many people. Enjoyed a walk around about half of the park, not much shade on the perimeter of park, but the interior is pretty well shaded. The fields are quite large, plenty of room for frisbee play with the dog. We're buzzed by a drone while my dog was off leash playing frisbee. Very nice tennis courts. Look forward to our next trip back to Ventana ranch park. Update: 2 weeks later at Ventana Ranch park on a monday around noon, Didn't get very far from our car and noticed a small white car with 2 people patrolling the parking lot for something to steal. Never left the car out of sight, this vehicle was still driving around when we left earlier than planned, due to the questionable safety in the parking lot. The park itself is nice, dry as a bone, just the criminals we don't care to become another statistic.

This is Abq's 2.2 million dollar killer Park with tons of lit parking, two full court basketball courts with lights, large grass multi purpose field, playground, 12 lit tennis courts (lights come on about sundown and go out at 9:55pm as per the city's timer) and a handful of the tennis courts also serve as about 6 or more pickleball courts. Great place for leisure activities, fun outdoor stuff and sports. Oh yeah, bathrooms too ( but they are not lit and are a little sketchy at night).

I would recommend this park anytime! It is huge, options for soccer, football, baseball, tennis, and a kids playground.

By far one of my favorite parks to go to. While my youngest son is at baseball practice I take my dog for a walk.

Great event for the community!. Recommend that it should start later due to the extreme hot weather. Instead of 5-10, should be from 7-7:30 to 11pm. Too hot for families and children at 5.

Nice atmosphere for a park. Basketball courts were well kept and provided lighting at dusk/night.

Oh boy, Ventana Ranch Park - my favorite place to spend a riveting Saturday. There's just nothing more thrilling than sitting in the blazing sun, watching kids run around chasing balls for hours on end. The screams of hyper children playing basketball, soccer, and football fill me with immense joy. The ambiance of pre-teen boys yelling "I'm open!" really sets a relaxing mood. And I just love how the grounds crew meticulously maintains the fields for these casual weekend games - impressive how serious a place can get about recreational youth sports. Whenever I need a good nap, I head to Ventana. Nothing lulls me to sleep better than the harmonious melody of whistles blowing as team coaches bark out directions. The percussion of balls bouncing incessantly in the background is like a lullaby. And don't even get me started on the playground! The ear-piercing shrieks of delight from kids on the slides and monkey bars is music to my ears. Is there anything better than idle chit-chat with frazzled soccer moms and dads? I think not.

The park is so big that there was about 20 to 30 big families with enough space for all. Just a little dirty. Bit that could have been from the one day.

Park is very nice, kids enjoyed playground and open space to fly kites. The only downfall is trash cans are overflowing and the bathrooms were very dirty.

This used to be a great place to play tennis. There are 12 courts. Since last year, 6 of the courts have been regularly assigned for pickleball. Today (5/29/23), 2 more courts are being used by pickleball players (using a tennis net) so only 2 courts out of 12 are left for tennis. The pickleball players are playing loud music every time they play and you can hear it in the entire tennis area. It is being badly managed and there are no regulations at all. Everybody has a right to play, tennis or pickleball, but make it fair for everyone and there needs to be rules and regulations.

Great park, lots of space for everything; parking, courts, open yard. Some of the tennis courts had pickleball lines, good addition. Water fountain was broken, leaking on sidewalk (4/11/23).

Great family park! Very big with many different activities to do here, from one of the biggest tennis courts in the area to huge grass fields to kick around a soccer ball, throw a football or baseball or let the kids practice their flips, two great kids play sets with plenty to keep them occupied, several shaded tables and benches, a small workout area with different equipment, public restrooms, basketball courts, you name it! This park has it all and its in a great location.

Nice place to get some exercise, and the parking isn't that bad for the size of the place.
