I expected there to be water, but alas, I should have read previous reviews before hiking. The falls were really close and dry. At least they didn’t have litter or valdalism. We Co tied to the lookout on the long fork on Crest 13. It was relatively empty. We passed about 4 parties in 5 hours. By the time we got to the lookout we had consumed our water (3 bottles between 2 people). The lookout views were worth it.

A very easy trail to the falls but don’t expect to see a waterfall. It’s more like a small trickle. Still, this is a fun hike. There are small caves before the falls and if you make the trek above the falls and follow the trail a ways you will reach an amazing play area for the kids with large forts built from fallen trees. There are many structures with tunnels, tables and chairs, and some little water areas with good shade and spots to stop and eat or rest. Keep going up and you will have some great views but the trail gets a little rocky and can be fairly difficult if you don’t have the proper footwear.

A great place to hike! While the falls almost never are flowing, the travertine cave is very cool to see! Be sure to check out the other trails that connect, and you are sure to find some amazing views!

Nice short hike. Just about an hour round trip. It is pretty rocky but not unmanageable for the below average hiker... which we are.

Very good trail, I love the views and it gets very windy and cool when you go up. It is very hot sometimes so I suggest bringing lots of water.

Good short hike for the dog. Someone practicing bushcraft up above the falls, that was neat. But no water at all, so... guess we'll try again after the rainy season.

Lovely, mostly shaded short hike to the "falls," in early September was more like a trickle but still lovely. The cave was neat and would be very fun for young kids. Mostly uphill but not too steep and not too long so appealing for everyone. We continued on past the cave for another few miles and it was very scenic and pretty.

Super short fun hike. Pet friendly/ kid friendly. After monsoon season or after it rains a lot is the best time to see the falls. The trail is fairly shaded so it feels rather nice!(:

Great little hiking trail. Very easy and Short, you'll get to the falls in 15-20 minutes. Go past the falls and many more trails come up. Awesome trailhead.

An easy to moderately steep climb up with about half the time in shade at most times of the day (less at high noon), very pleasant when it is cool and still fine when it is hotter. No boulder hopping required, but the path is covered with rock shards. Decent views from the waterfall/cave area.

A winsome experience. That left me breathless from the hike then from the view.

Following the Travertine trail leads up though a fairly short hike to a little cave which during some wetter parts of the year has a bit of water running down it's face (the falls). There's nothing earth shattering here, but it's a fun little hike to make whether or not there is water, and from the cave is an very pretty view down into the valley.

👍👍 Definitely worth the easy hike! Views are insane. Cabin is awesome as well, but I could see how mass crowds could ruin everything. We went on a weekday in October, and was not really the warmest or calmest day at all. There were two people there when we just got to the cabin, but nobody else the re...
