Large park and golf course. Amenities include water fountains, picnic tables, play area for children, tennis courts, walking paths, huge soccer/football fields, and several mature shade trees. The park is connected to Albuquerque's bicycle path system.

I love this park. One of the largest in the city, there is plenty of room for a variety of activities. Our family has had picnics, scavenger hunts, played frisbee and other sports, and hosted birthday parties as well as other family events here. We also enjoy just swinging at the playground when the sun is setting. Plenty of parking and lots of trees to provide shady areas to go and spend time relaxing, reading, listening to music or just watching clouds go by.

This is one of our families favorite parks. Lots of trees with shade and parking galore. It has a playground, basketball court and two huge grass fields. It's a real nice park to come to to just hang out and unwind.

Nice park with great views of the sandias located next to an irrigation ditch which is usually full of water especially during the summer monsoon season

Great park with large open area. Trees line up on sides providing lots of shade and cover. Restroom 🚻 is a short walk/ possible drive south. Lots of parking available. Tennis courts and small playground available as well.

Great park you don’t see a bunch of trash didn’t see any homeless people as I walked my dogs around didn’t get bothered by anyone just other people that lived by walking their dogs and everybody was pretty polite great place to take your kids great place to walk your dogs Just always be cautious where you go you never know.

Very well maintained greens for a public course that gets lots of play. Very helpful staff. Great Green Chile Cheeseburgers!

Great public golf course go to the range during the week nobody's there

Good course with senior discounts during the week. This is a city operated public course. Don't expect fabulous Carts with GPS or other amenities found on private courses. The condition of the fairways and greens is good but not very good.

I come to this park because it's big people friendly and open outside restrooms a nice place to lose yourself and be at ease

Great park! Plenty of room for social distancing and enjoying the views of the Sandias. Sweet friendly dogs and their people.

Huge and my pup loves rolling in the grass. Great views of the Sandias. Watching the model airplanes fly is a bonus.

Sadly the place has gone down the hole. Customer service is still great and the staff is very helpful, but gone are the club cleaners. The restaurant was also very dirty with very limited options, and there were homeless people actually in there watching TV and hanging out, changing the channels as well. Yep, a public golf course, but that is not expected. Club house also looks very depleted as far as inventory and looks very bare bones. Place needs a serious up lift, but much of our tax monies are used on the new super expensive extravagant homeless shelter, converted from the old hospital. We pay the taxes and they get the facilities now, with upgrades, and our golf course too. Gone are the painted signs of no chipping out front, gone are all the little flags for putting practice as well.

I love this park, I always bring my dogs for a walk and it's always clean and perfect for you to have nice time

Great spot for temporary crashes. Meaning a time off the road. Full 5 would be achieved if it stayed open 24 7 and running water.

Was our first time playing golf, my 3 boys and myself. Place was nice, it seemed. Don't really have anything to compare it to it being our first time and all. That said, we enjoyed it and will be going again. I would recommend it.

Always love playing here. The course is in good shape, and the staff are friendly

For winter conditions the course was in good shape, and it was not crowded at all.

I grew up playing this course, so I am a little biased, but I think this is the best golf course in ABQ. I used to go here routinely to play, and hit through a bucket of balls. Everyone has always been super nice, and the course it self is nice. I also cannot over state how much I love the fact that they include tax into there bucket of balls so the price you see is the price you pay! Way to go!

In my opinion I would say this is one of the best golf courses in the city and it is public. The food isn't bad and the service is quality. But totally recommend if you ever find yourself in Albuquerque.

I really like taking my dog here to run around in the early mornings. Very nice park. Reason it's not 5 stars is because there have been several mornings I've been there where the gates were locked, so you couldn't park in the lot, and it didn't really seem like there was a reason.

Says it's a RC friendly park according to the city. I'm a beginner in the hobby and thankfully this site is pretty close. Big open space for novice pilots. Just watch out for the dog people who like to go in the middle of the field! It's a shared space so be Warned! Grass is pretty torn up in a lot of spots from other scheduled activities, so it makes landing a big challenge if you like to keep your landing gear on your plane. Especially in front of the shelter where most of us fly from. Would it be too much to ask for a small asphalt or concrete strip?

This is a nice park if you're in the area. Not very big and not very busy- when we went. Seems well maintained With some tree shade. A playground and a few picnic benches.

  • 4/5 Greg R. 1 year ago on Google
The park provides room to throw a ball around, play some soccer, shoot some hoops, play ground for the kids and even RC airplanes. There's a jogging, riding & walking path that goes on for a few miles that's attached to the side of the park too. If you have kids with a lot of energy maybe this could be a good destination.

I do soccer practice here and it's super nice, but. I wish they had a bathroom closer to the dirt area so you don't have to run a long time to use the bathroom. And lastly, PLEASE cut the grass. Its so long which makes it kinda hard to play in. Thanks!

A very forgiving / fun G.C. We visited in early October and the course (minus a hole or two), was in very good shape. I'd recommend playing 18!

Great park for young children (2 to 8).

It's a fair walk from the house, pretty enough, I reckon. The creek could use some water in it, though. Note: That fancy walking path...cyclists don't holler "On your left" when they pass, folks tend to ignore you when you say "hey" to 'em, and they like to leave their dogs' sh*t laying there.

Awesome park, one of our favorites. Plenty of places to park in the shade. Escape to the back to get away from it all. Two big grassy fields, a playground and basketball court to boot!

  • 5/5 Race R. 2 years ago on Google
Large park located in an area which is easy to reach, with ample parking. Tennis, Basketball, small kids area, Tables under awnings, and one huge grassy field, (large enough for multiple events). And this park also has an additional little charm with a nice bridge spanning over an dirt arroyo.
