Pretty trail. Went up toward the ski resort and tram. Beautiful views.

The trail is at the top close to the ski area. It has several different routes to take. If you want to get to the Kwanis Cabin, this is the closest you will get, then hike in about 1 mile. The trail runs along the ridge in certain directions. Be careful if you decide to look over.

It was a very pleasant journey to the park. Three dogs were brought, and they all loved it. They all like dipping their toes in a particular little creek. Go ahead and check it out.

Quite a nice trip to get down to the park. Took three dogs all of them absolutely loved it. There's a special little stream that all of them love to tip their toes in. Definitely go check it out.

Pretty easy-going trail, but I would probably recommend snow shoes after heavy snowfalls

A meditative and scenic journey. A leisurely stroll in the woods, mostly flat and took about 3 hours to the peak and back.

Easy trail to hike and trailhead is clearly marked with a decent size parking lot. The view is nice along the 3 mile or so trail and it was quiet. I love the solitude here. You can come back the same way or connect to Osha and then Survey back to the same parking lot. Will do it again!

Hiked this with my 4 year old son up to the cabin. I'm so glad we did, it's easy enough but the right amount of challenge for a kid to feel like they're really doing something spectacular!

I hiked the north section. Mostly follows an old jeep road, traversing a very long meadow, so the trail is easy. Lovely for wildflowers, insects, and hummingbirds. Eventually crosses into the wilderness area.

Beautiful view during winter! We love coming here. I definitely recommend this place if you are in town. Definitely worth the drive. Very peaceful also.

Can be very busy at times and especially on the weekend. Great for hiking in the summer and snowshoeing and cross-country skiing in the winter. Parking is $3.

This hike can be so simple and so rewarding. I love to come here in the summers especially so that i can escape the desert heat of Albuquerque. Took the la luz trail after finishing the Ellis trailhead for an extended hike. They both have the most amazing views!

👍👍 Definitely worth the easy hike! Views are insane. Cabin is awesome as well, but I could see how mass crowds could ruin everything. We went on a weekday in October, and was not really the warmest or calmest day at all. There were two people there when we just got to the cabin, but nobody else the re...
