The staff here were very friendly and easy to talk to, and the check in process was easy and the rooms are affordable. We got a two bed room, with full sized beds. The mattresses were the absolute most comfortable mattresses I’ve ever laid on in a hotel room. The room was clean, no serious complaints. The hair dryer in the room was broken however, and needs to be replaced. The door also would not lock correctly, so we had to use the latch. Otherwise, the room was great. We didn’t get a chance to use the television, so I can’t advise whether the electronics were in working order. I believe this is a good place for travelers needing late night lodging. I can’t account for more long term stays, however.

The floors were dirty. The bottom of my feet were black after getting out of the shower and walking on the floor. Seen roaches in the room. The curtains were torn off of the rods of the window. We booked a queen bed but gave our room to someone else and gave us a 2 double beds. My girlfriend and I slept in separate beds. The worst hotel/motel I’ve stayed in for $98 a night

Terrible. I asked four time for my room to be cleaned during a 3 day stay. Was never cleaned. The front desk at one point told me the cleaning crew had gone home for the day and then walking back to my room I ran into them clean another room! So dishonest on top of all of it. The pool was also out of service the entire time. It’s hard to be that incompetent but somehow they managed. On the upside they are very polite. Don’t stay here.

It was a last minute reservation and they had a room with a king size bed available. It's in a good location, there's a Denny's in front of the hotel and a Cracker Barrel across the street. The Walmart is 2 miles away. We are traveling w a pet and only $5 a night for her. There's a small section of lawn for her to go. The downside is it looks older outside, the room is small but it has a table to eat at. There are no extra plugs to charge our phones, so we had to unplug the lamps. They are doing renovations on the back rooms of the hotel and there are moving pods in the parking lot.

Terrible. Not very clean. Your feet get black if you walk barefoot. Questioning if the room was even cleaned and sheets were changed before we checked in. All the bottles in the bathroom were empty Also, there in a bug problem. Don't put anything on the floor. Otherwise, you may have an uninvited guest (cockroach) when you get home. Thank goodness we emptied our luggage in the garage because there was one in our dirty clothes. The only good thing about the stay was the staff. They were all friendly. I will never stay at another La Quinta again if this is an example of their hotel.

My family and I have stayed here several times. It's a great place to stay. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are nice sized with plenty of amenities and very clean. The rates for the rooms are comparable and in most cases are better priced than some of the other sleazy cesspools we've stayed at. Location is perfect. Plenty of restaurant and other business in the are to take care of just about anything else you need. Not to mention your less than 5 minutes to I-25. They also have a banging complimentary breakfast. If you leave hungry here it your own fault.

This is not your typical La Quinta. this is more like a motel 6. I understand remolding but I would not name it La Quinta, it hurts its brand. check in was great. The lady at the desk was Great. The area was not so great. we drove around the building before check in and if it was not for our reservation being non refundable we would have left. Car was fine and it was quiet for the night. Beds were great but just boards on the wall where the headboard goes. Lamp shade was ripped up. Without the headboard the base and beds do not go up against the wall so pillows fall off. overall not a bad room but not up to what I am used to with La Quinta inn. Holladay Inn down the road was the same price. Wish I stayed there. update Yes you are remodeling..It is not the construction stuff around. It is the cigarette butts all over place. Trash from takeout all over the place. there was a guy selling purses out of his trunk. So no it was not the construction.

This was a great experience at a nice hotel. The check-in process was quick and easy. The staff was super friendly and attentive. The hotel is currently under remodel. The room we had was apparently remodeled already. It was a nice upgrade. It was two full size beds. It came equipped with a small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. They have a free breakfast every morning. It had plenty of options to choose from. Waffles, toast, bagels, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt and plenty of options to wash it all down. The room rate wasn't to bad being it was a weekend rate. They are pet friendly with a very small fee. They also have a small deposit required but compared to most hotels they make it manageable. I would definitely recommend especially to get away for some nice R&R!

Please scroll down to the photos. I spilled a small amount of soda and this is what i found on the floor. Needless to say I didn't take my shoes off until i got into bed. This is the grossest hotel I've ever stayed at and ALL i wanted was half my money back. The female manager laughed in my face. This is how much they care about cleaning their floors. Plus, I'm 6'4 and when i went to the ice machine i almost got mugged. This place is filthy and not at ALL safe for women and families. Dear god stay away. I'll show you the toilet pic if they don't give me my money back. You're gonna love that one. I just threw up in my mouth a little. They're is NO cleaning crew here at all

The rooms, beds, pillows, and bathroom were all very clean. We slept well and felt rested. The breakfast is copious and healthy with many options, including the famous waffles, that children and young at heart love. My main concern about this hotel is the exterior cleanliness and appearance, which is below par. More attention needs to be spent maintaining the exterior to match the cleanliness of the rooms.

The bathroom is filthy with black mold inside the toilet. We complained and nothing happened. We were given only one little soap bar. Towels and rooms aren’t refreshed daily. We had a little coffee maker but given one cup. We had random people (more than once) knocking on our door. A toothless lady was sunbathing outside a bottom floor door and tried to engage another person. Sketchy and seedy area. La Quinta used to be a good place to stay. This place is a disgusting dump.

This hotel has some nice features like being conveniently located off the interstate. Other than that this place is horrible beds gave me itches and rashes. Emailed and called the manager and general manager and both are out on vacation at the same time? What kind of business is this? No call has ever been returned to me or either a response by email. I will no longer even consider staying at any la quinta hotel anymore. Get rid of the managers who can't return emails or calls.

Room was very dusty. Very small. Toilet is stained and looks disgusting. The light fixture in bathroom has dead bugs and water stain inside globe. Bathtub is dingy and old (gouges and scratches). Shower head rusty and has hard water build up). Bathroom ceiling paint pealing. No electrical plugs in convenient spots for guests. Customer service is friendly. This hotel is a 1 star hotel.

First and foremost, this week, they significantly raised the price from $69 to a staggering $193, inclusive of taxes. Upon check-in, I received the key cards for the room, but to my dismay, they didn't work. I had to make a trip back to my room, which, incidentally, was quite dusty. What's more, the deadbolt for the door was broken, leaving me feeling far from secure. It was clear that the door had been previously kicked in and poorly repaired. Adding to the list of inconveniences, if I wanted to keep any food cold, I had to unplug the microwave. However, there were only five plugs, all connected to a single outlet. Consequently, I found myself repeatedly unplugging devices, moving the TV stand, reheating my food, reconnecting all the appliances, and then moving the TV stand back into place. This inconvenience was particularly frustrating, and the fact that there was just one plug to service all my devices and appliances was truly exasperating. Moreover, the clocks in the room were not even plugged in, and truth be told, I didn't dare to take a shower for fear of getting dirty. To make matters even more disconcerting, around midnight, I counted approximately 150 people camping in the parking lot right in front of my door. This situation was particularly unsettling, especially considering the proximity to the Mexican border. Most of them spoke no English, but thankfully, I can communicate in Spanish. Nevertheless, their conversations made it nearly impossible for me to get any sleep. With a growing concern for the safety of my belongings, I rushed to Dennis, a restaurant located a mere 50 feet from my room. Upon my return, the key card, disappointingly, did not work yet again, necessitating a lengthy walk to the front desk to have it reactivated. In addition to these frustrating issues, when I requested a late checkout due to an upcoming meeting, my request was met with an unyielding "no." To put this experience into perspective, I have lived for years in places like Peru and Ecuador, and I have even navigated through riots. Nevertheless, I can genuinely say that I have never felt as unsafe as I did last night. The need to move the entire TV stand every time I needed to change plugs only added to the frustration. It was also clear that the door had been previously kicked in and poorly repaired, and the keypad outside was still broken. On a positive note, I had the chance to interact with the cleaning crew who seemed nice and hardworking. It's evident that the issues I encountered are primarily a management problem. I could see paying $63 for that room and not minding, but charging $197 is nothing short of highway robbery. This experience unquestionably deserves a negative rating on multiple fronts.

Our card didnt work first try so we had to go back to get it fixed. Upon arrival to our rooms we find the 2nd bed unmade/dirty, unused towels on the ground, and other signs we were given an uncleanned room. Our 2nd room was cleanish.. but the shower did not drain well and you end up taking a bath too. The following day we were thankfully there when house keeping opened our door without identifying and we had the insert that said we did not need housekeeping. He was confused why someone was there and was hesitant to let me continue to stay there. Later we get a call that our transfer from the previous room didnt get fixed and it will be fixed. Then I go to do laundry which was an awful experience as well. The washer took 5+ loads to get the soap off even at moderate load. Once I was done I am unable to get into the room with a big bag of laundry in my hand. I go to office, get new key, doesn't work, then the office guy comes with me and calls someone finding the guy we need is 10 min away. I spent the better part of my day trying to clean 1 load of laundry and trying to access my room. By far the worst la Quinta on our trip and will definitely think twice before booking with them even if they offer some of the cheaper rooms.

My family's experience here during balloon fiesta was absolutely wonderful! The manager Erica was amazing - so kind and professional and accommodated my family members who are handicapped. She gave clear communication to us both over the phone and in-person, and was patient with all of our questions. The rooms we had were clean and fresh, and Erica took the extra time to ask us about our stay and if we needed anything. We will definitely be coming back to this location due to Erica's exceptional customer service.

I very rarely leave a review but I felt like I needed to say this. this place is awful. the floor is filthy just like most people have said it's sticky turns your feet black and you don't even have to walk across the room. just put them on the floor and pick them up and look at them. it's frightening my bed squeaked and made clunking noises every time I moved there was hair also in the corners and on the floor. big wads of black hair and there was look like spill marks here and there blackened like spilled sugar or soda pop and dirt sticking to it look like that kind of stuff. it was nasty. just zoom in on these pics

GROSS!! And I am being honest. If I could rate it a ZERO, I certainly would. The hotel is very dated and room was very dirty. Floor looked like it had not been swept or mopped. Ever. We even wore shower shoes when taking shower; the stall had hairs stuck in the walls. Bed was lumpy and the pillows looked and felt old—yellowish from sweat. There’s a no smoking policy and the old couple in the room next to us were smoking like chimneys. Location did not feel very safe either. Do no recommend and will not stay here again.

We were only supposed to be charged on our credit card for the deposit $50, the room was covered by insurance for a medical trip, they charged both days and the deposit to our card, which won't be credited back until next week. We asked for a room close to the elevator, my roommate is an amputee, they put us in the very last room at the end of the hall, our room had no trash can, it also smells like cigarettes in this non-smoking motel. Lastly, the TV was working fine last night and today, then suddenly it starts restarting itself, but you can't do anything except turn it off.

The room was comfortable and cool. The floor had not been swept or mopped. Feet were black after walking around. Plenty of pillows and bed comfy. Fridge only, no freezer. Hot water in shower. Nice vanity area. Pool was refreshing. Sidewalks outside rooms very dirty. The concrete around the pool is very hot in the afternoon (expected but be sure to wear shoes or you will have burned feet. We didn't eat the breakfast so I can't comment on it. The computer system was down for over an hour when we arrived which delayed check in. I did communicate with the front desk about the floor when we checked out. Management needs to provide the maids with proper cleaning equipment for the new flooring. Really no excuse for how dirty the floor was in our room. We had no problem with security here.

First of all note that not all rooms have microwaves. They will charge you more to get a room with a microwave. Room was sufficient, beds pretty comfortable. But that's about all. The floor was dusty like it had been mopped months ago and not used, our feet were black after walking barefoot. Shower head is very low. Tub was slow to drain. Hook on the back of the bathroom door was half off. We had two beds the one by the door squeaked Everytime you moved. Curtain was hanging down at the corner. Breakfast( if you could call it that) waffle, hard boiled eggs, and white bread toast are your only options. And after all this they want to charge $25 a night for a dog, not like they have a dog park or even barely space to walk them. They are right off the freeway, and the beds are comfortable but they don't try very hard.

WiFi doesn't reach all buildings. The showers are moldy and grimy. Doors missing weather stripping allowing lots of bugs inside. AC set to 60 barely kept the room cool enough. Pipes are so noisy it sounds like someone is playing a Tuba on the other side of the walls. All in all disappointed in this La Quinta location as most of them are nice. Paid almost double the standard rate to stay over memorial day weekend and wish I had gone anywhere else.

The front desk people were good the parking was good right in front of room. But the room was low quality mediocre. The bed was hard which made my nights sleep not comfortable. The bathroom was horrible imagine showering and having a small flood in the bathroom floor from the water pressure. The actual shower toilet area was super small. The microwave was not plugged in and we had to put it on floor to reach plugs. The room size was good. Housekeepers were nice and helped us get new toilets because we had to keep putting them on floor. I would not stay here again.

Wow first time in my life I over nighted in ABQ. This hotel is near Bernalillo off of 25. It was clean, safe, and overall a very pleasant place if I ever stay in ABQ I will definitely stay again. Staff, host Sabrina was a great help. And the night staff were amazing too. Heads up if staying they do not take cash. Card only and a 50$ deposit before check in.

  • 2/5 Kel L. 11 months ago on Google
Poor experience. They require a $50 hold on a CC for damages, until the room is cleaned! Pets are now $25 each. Breakfast had no proteins, just carbs. Even the coffee was bad, tasted like they made it several hours before breakfast. I do not recommend.

I’m CLC and came in during the powwow and everything in town was nearly booked up. The staff went out of their way to find me a room. As a truck driver for Estes Express I have stayed at another hotel when in town but they were booked but the la Quinta were very helpful in finding me a room. It had been remodeled and was very clean.

We stayed there two nights about 1 week apartment. Pleasant, spacious rooms with comfortable beds. There are workers milling around as if they are renovating, but are saw lots of qall leaning and little work. The same rooms we passed looked exactly the same a week later... empty and unfinished. Good stop for a good night's sleep. Breakfast is lean, waffles juice, if you're early you might get a banana over by the desk, and the coffee is almost drinkable.

  • 5/5 Mary S. 11 months ago on Google
Ok to be fair I complained about not having a microwave but they said I ordered a room without one. Very strange thing to ask not to have when your staying almost a week. They room was very clean. Great decor. No room service but I got clean towels from the maid. Which I really didn't need service. Times are tough in our world these days. Breakfast was a continental . waffles, cereal, yogurt, oranges, bagels juice and great coffee. Had fun taking to fellow travelers during breakfast. Very close to highway so it's convenient.

All of the staff was extremely friendly, from customer service to housekeeping and maintenance. Rooms were clean, comfy and accommodating. Price wasn’t bad either.

Pros: Staff was friendly. Check in and out was easy. Beds were comfortable. Area was safe to walk around even at night, just be vigilant. Cons: I thought it was a little too pricey. Saw a few spiders and a roach in my room. Not alot of choices for breakfast. Typical breakfast but no meats. Only waffles and lots of break items.

  • 4/5 jericsg1 1 year ago on Google
Property had nicely renovated room at a La Quinta price. Included simple self-serve breakfast which surprisingly could handle the full motel crowd during Balloon Fiesta week. Room lighting was a little weak but overall I would stay here again.

  • 2/5 James A. 1 year ago on Google
Stayed 4 nights requested housekeeping services 24 hours prior on ten 3rd day of my stay. Nothing was done when no arrived late evening. No phone call to advise me at all. Called the front desk the individual stated they didn’t have housekeepers. Then don’t overbooked the hotel!!! When you can’t service your current customers. When I went up there to grab fresh towels and toiletries. There was a b aggressive dog barking and growling at me. What is going on here? Her answer was it wasn’t aggressive. No apologies or concerns for my issues.
