This hotel is the worst experience ever, Don't even know where to begin. As you walk into a room , you are greeted by a stained and soiled carpet, smelly room. The toilet and bathroom seemed dirty. Complained and got another room. The toilet overflowed in that room and got another room again. There is no microwave and no fridge, pictures of room on website are a lie, Pool was literally a swamp, breakfast the worst. 2 days that I had to stay because of the money that was already charged seemed like weeks of a painful experience. PLEASE AVIOID THIS PLACE, humble suggestion.

The staff is so nice. Let's get that straight.. the rooms are ok. (They're very outdated, but it does look that they're starting a remodel. This is a big hotel that means a big job. ) They're clean..beds comfy... they're really trying and it shows. It's in a great location and very cheap. Al in all I would say this... If you are one of these very picky people looking for perfection..this is NOT the hotel for you... If you are the person that needs a reasonable priced and clean place to lay you head for a night or two.. this hotel IS for you!

This place should NOT be in business. We arrived around midnight exhausted ready to sleep and stayed a total of 5 minutes in our room before we decided to find a different hotel because it was just that bad. I couldn’t stop gagging from the smell of mildew/mold in our room. Half of the ceiling was completely covered in mold. The walls had huge water pockets coming down them. The carpet was stained with water damage. Just absolutely disgusting. Shut this place down. I’m 90% sure this place is contaminated with black mold.

Initial reaction Welcome to the Roach Motel!!!! Seriously there was a dead cockroach at the entryway of our room! Regarding the bed… I could feel the coils jabbing me in the back of the circa 1990’s mattress. This place is so run down and out of date! I should have turned and ran away, but I was tired and didn’t have the energy to look for a better place. Thankfully we were only staying one night. Threadbare carpets, poor lighting, a toilet that never stops running, and lousy continental breakfast! Never again

This place is disgusting. The staff was fine, some were even friendly. However, it doesn’t make up for no toilet paper, dirty old carpet, dried pee on the toilet, a used towel hanging in the bathroom, nasty stuff on the walls, and an extremely dirty ac filter. This place is filthy from the first step in the door. I’ve stayed at nicer youth hostel. I slept terribly because I was afraid of what I might catch from this place. In hindsight, I should have just paid and gone somewhere else, it’s not worth the stress.

This hotel is the grungiest La Quinta hotel we have stayed in. I am certain it has not been updated since it opened. Original room they gave us was so dirty and STAINS STAINS STAINS on both couches/chair and carpet. Disgusting. Went down and got a new room, which was much cleaner of stains, but still dirty with grunge. Just old old and dirty. Needs a complete remodel. So many thing wrong with hotel I don’t have time to list. Comes down to the owners and management not caring about hotel condition. Breakfast was a joke. All bagged food and so limited. NOT like any other La Quinta we have stayed in before. Will not return.

Clean, comfortable, spacious, convenient location and excellent service. Solo male traveler. Booked one night through Priceline and was happy they extended me at the same rate for the second night (when Priceline was quoting $20 more for the same room). Staff were very attentive and helpful. Room was quiet even though it faced the freeway. Parking lot was well lit and secure. Agree with other reviewers that hotel needs an upgrade and basic breakfast, but I’m happy with the value for money. Plan to stay here when I visit ABQ.

I will start with positives. Or room was clean and so was the bathroom. The staff was great, very friendly and responsive. The location was convenient. Parking was well lit. They welcome pets, which is why we booked here. The hotel is very much in need of maintenance. The carpet is old and needs replacing, especially in the halls. The guest dryer didn't work (which we found out after we washed our clothes). We're had to take the laundry to a laundromat to dry. Breakfast was a sack of snacks. The elevator had indicator lights out and there was a sticky spill in it that wasn't cleaned up during our three day stay. One of our lamps, the microwave, and the mini fridge didn't work. Luckily we had a cooler, but I had to go to a different floor for it since the one on our floor was out of order. All in all, I wouldn't stay here again. There were just too many negatives.

The hotel is very dated and needs some updating. Even that is tolerable. The staff is terrible. They are inconvenienced by the simplest request. The vibe they give us that you are a burden and not a guest. None of this applies to the housekeeping staff. They are fantastic. But the customer facing staff is horrible and couldn’t be more bothered by even having you in the building. I would feel a very disappointing experience.

Horrible customer service, as soon as we entered the building the lady in the front desk started screaming at us, it really seemed like she was on drugs. We had a reservation already paid for, and she literally kicked us out because she didn’t “liked our attitude”, just because we told her the rooms were already paid for. We had to find another hotel with 1 infant, 3 toddlers and an elderly woman, at 11:30 pm, on a high demand week (balloon festival). We called today (next morning), to ask for a refund, and the “manager”, extremely rude as well, not interested in we had to say, annoyed because we asked to talk with her, denied that we had a reservation, and that a woman worked in the night shift. We had to contact our bank to get a refund, because they “don’t have anything in their system”. Next time I’ll read their google reviews first, because they are very similar.

Don’t book this hotel! When we arrived, with confirmation # that we booked thru a third party in advance the front desk clerk tried to charge us more because it was ballon fiesta week. He flat refused to honor our original booking unless we paid $75 more. It was a total shake down! He also refused to give other guests waiting in line their breakfast vouchers twice unless they came back another when he had them sitting in a drawer the entire time. Complete smug attitude & horrible service. Had our family with us to try to enjoy a stay for the balloon festival. We were able to book another hotel. I would never recommend this hotel.

Amazing hospitality at this hotel. We didn't come in until 330 am and reservations we had at a different hotel fell through. We were lucky enough to find the friendliest most understanding clerk at this hotel, Anthony. He made check in a quick and easy process, smiled the whole time and turned our long nightmare trip into a not so bad experience. The rooms are quiet, comfortable and affordable. Next time I'll book here where there is a person with a friendly smile ready to help.

Breakfast was a continental not much to choose from, mostly sweet so if you are a diabetic skip the breakfast. Room carpet need to be replace dirty and worn out. Bed was comfortable. Room needs more lightning, a bit dark.

Basic amenities. Convenient location with easy access for a one night stay while traveling. While the room was clean, it had a musky odor. No ice machine on the first floor. Breakfast was limited to packaged foods to take away. Possibly due to Covid restrictions. Friendly staff.

Poorly maintained hotel. The room smelled like wet dog. There was dog hair everywhere, no fridge, and no microwave. The breakfast sucked, just boiled eggs everyday, yogurt and typical muffins. The Days Inn next door is newly renovated and refurbished. Smells better. Cheaper price. Cleaner; and has a microwave and fridge. .

Skip this one. The door to the side entrance needs replaced. It is heavy, loud and slams as people walk in and out. I haven't even tried to fall asleep and I can tell it won't be a good night's rest. The door closes and the headboard bounces off the wall I can hear people talking in the room beside us. The hotel is dark and outdated. Cleanliness was ok... I'm not about to get out of the shower bare foot here though

I stayed here in July 2023. The management team was great. Here's why: There were definitely issues with the smell of dog urine on the first floor. Management worked with me and moved me to the 2nd floor. They didn't make it a hassle for me, and they wanted to make sure I was happy. I love dogs, but the urine smell was too strong. Fast forward: I stayed here again in November 2023. They now have a new owner or management team. My room was okay, but breakfast was truly a waste. I didn't feel the hospitality this time when I was there in July. With that, I do not plan on staying here again. I was disappointed. FYI: This was what I saw on my bed cover the first day I arrived, November 2023.

It's run down. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was okay they were out of cream. Ran out of syrup. They had waffles, toast and boiled eggs. Not much of breakfast but I guess better than none. I don't recommend this LaQuinta.

I had to reschedule original visit for a week I called and had no problem re booking for the following weekend. I asked about if everything was the same meaning room and price and was told yes everything is good. When I arrived the prices had tripled from 155 to 435 the explanation was because of the balloon festival I let them know the story and they refused to even try to work with me. Marisa was the front desk person and basically called me a liar for trying to cheat them. The whole experience was pretty bad and to top it off the hotel isn't that nice had I noticed the 3 stars I might have tried a different place.

It was okay. Pretty average for what we paid for it. Definitely wasn’t the best hotel but it wasn’t the worst. All we really did was sleep, shower and get ready for the day. It could definitely use an update inside and out.

Clean room, good deal for a cheap room. Bad cable service though, really spotty. And very basic continental breakfast. But service was great!

Looks like room had fresh paint but older carpet. Dust the fan. Conveniently located for the balloon enthusiasts. Breakfast offering was a little weak. Staff were friendly.

As someone who grew up here I’m well aware that this city is not all sunshine and rainbows, but this hotel was absolutely filthy from top to bottom. When we pulled into the parking lot and got out there was so much garbage on the ground and it reeked so bad. Our hotel room was NASTY. The beds sheets were barely on and looked like they were recently slept on and whoever cleaned just tucked the comforter back in. There were blood stains trailing along the carpet through the room. I made the unfortunate mistake of walking around barefoot and when I stepped in the bathroom the floor was sticky, I don’t even wanna know how or why, I kept my shoes on the rest of our stay. The bathroom had hair from the previous guest all over it. There were flies everywhere in the room and we have no clue how they kept getting in as we were not going in and out. The room also just smelled so bad and we couldn’t figure out why. Honestly it’s not worth the extra couple bucks you save, spare yourself this gross experience.

My husband and I stayed here over a week after having surgeries in Albuquerque. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, (they even let me dry my clothes in their dryer when the guest dryer quit working), maintenance and housekeeping were very friendly every time we seen them and the rooms were clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay here next time we come down.

Totally basic. Carpet in room worn. Beds have visible dent in them. Bright flood lights outside. No view and non stop I25 car noise. But it was clean and the best price for a last minute deal I saw. You get what you pay for here. I suggest going to Satellite Coffee for breakfast instead of the free breakfast they offer.

Clean room, great guest services, and great location. Easy access to food and the north side of town. When we left a personal belonging, they agreed to hold it for an entire month so we could come pick it up when we were back in town. Will stay again.

Full kitchen with no silverware, no plates, two glasses, one burnt up disgusting skillet, one large pot and no other cookware. Killed a bug in kitchen drawer when looking for silverware. Ugly stain on carpet under desk. No blanket or pillow for pullout bed. 3 toasters, not sure why. Missing knob on closet door. Very nice size room but everything so dated I felt like I was back in 1970

Nice rooms, you get exactly what you pay for. Includes a continental breakfast, small gym, pool was closed. Plenty of parking. Staff is courteous and helpful. The employee at the breakfast counter is very well mannered, great customer service and pleasant to talk with.

Our room was clean. It was quiet. No frills. Staff was pleasant. Breakfast was ok for a $74 hotel. It consisted of 3 dry cereals with milk, toast with jelly, instant oatmeal, yogurt, boiled eggs, packages of very small waffles with syrup, snd coffee. Juice machine was out of order. Staff told me they used to do a grab snd go type breakfast during covid, but have since upgraded. It isn’t a fancy place, but neither did we pay a fancy price. The queen beds did seem more like double beds and my husband thought they were a bit soft, but seemed fine to me.

We always stay at this La Quinta travelling between Salt Lake and east Texas. It's easy on/off, it's a good value, and they accept pets, (family), AND It's always quiet. We go there to sleep, the beds are very comfortable. It could use a little updating, but the price can't be beat?

The lobby was clean and the staff were friendly, that's all the good I can say. Our room didn't have towels so I couldn't shower, the carpet was wet in spots and there was a fight in the hall outside our door. I don't recommend this location.

Took a few minutes for somebody to show up at the front desk. When they did there were breath mints and a cigarette lighter in hand. At checkout, no one was seen. Google maps did quite a circle about to bring us to the property so do be aware. The room was nice and pretty clean. The tub drain had something ugly around it. Make sure to check your address as there is another la Quinta directly across the highway.
