The hotel is clean, the staff is great but do not stay while there is a wedding. Bass was shaking our walls- concert level volume. We were told they would move inside at 10pm, however, employee then started cleaning and moving tables & chairs until after 11pm. People outside enjoying themselves well into the night. If you're staying for the wedding wonderful otherwise ask if there is an event before booking!

Very nice hotel with charm of old Albuquerque. Great location with walking distance to Old Town, museums, shopping and parks. Room had a balcony with magnificent views of the city. Room also has faux wood floors which are cleaner than carpeting. Tub/shower is huge if you want to relax in the tub without being cramped. Sister property (Hotel Chaco) is next door and has a huge, great outdoor experience (drinks and views) called Level 5. Definitely recommend this (Hotel Albuquerque) property. All the employees were friendly and welcoming 🙂.

GREAT SERVICE! We got in late on Fourth of July and they treated us great! The night desk manager and the morning manger did amazing. They definitely deserve raises. Or at least taller chairs lol. The breakfast was delicious and great service. Definitely a hotel you should flock to, and it’s not to far from the interstate either.

Check in easy. Rooms clean and quiet. Mexican restaurant in hotel. Food good except they MUST do something about their enchilada sauce. It is so spicy hot it overwhelms the taste of the meal. Eaten there before and mentioned it back then. It ruined my meal it was too spicy 🌶️ hot. Please consider a mild enchilada sauce version

I'm a local, but stayed here with a friend who was visiting from out of town on a girls' night and was a bit disappointed in our experience considering the price of this hotel ($285/night during our visit). We figured we would treat ourselves to a nice hotel for the night, but our experience unfortunately didn't match the price tag. The service at the front desk wasn't the most friendly and welcoming, which was surprising for a hotel that is supposed to be of a higher caliber. Additionally, later in the evening, we called down to request an extra blanket because my friend gets cold easily and we waited, and waited, and waited and it never came so she just gave up and made do with what she had. We didn't want to keep calling down and be a bother even though the concierge assured us someone would be right up when we called. The exterior of the hotel and the lobby are both beautiful, especially the back courtyard with the wisteria, etc. but the rooms felt a bit dated even with the updates that had been made. On the plus side, the location is great and very walkable, they have free and ample guest parking, the views from the rooms are lovely and the bathroom had been nicely updated (kinda weird that the bathroom door opened OUT into the room rather than IN to the bathroom, but not a biggie), but I certainly left feeling a little underwhelmed. Still giving a 4-star review, but I will say that there are more affordable places that offer a better experience overall.

7/18/2023 - 7-/19/2023 Unfortunately we were super disappointed. For the price of the room it was under average and not worth it. When we checked in, the front desk was unhelpful. The beds were very small with large protruding wooden frames around the mattress which caused us to hit our shins several times. Housekeeping arrived at 8am asking if we were ready to leave - we had just woken up as checkout wasn’t until 11am. We decided to get breakfast at Gardunos before checking out. We were ignored at the host stand even though there were two employees talking together. We finally had to ask for a table. We then had to wait for 10 minutes and again ask to place our order even though there were only two other tables - while the older female waitress stood by gossiping, with other staff members loudly. Service was awful! except for the male server, who finally took over our table when the food arrived. Overall not a great experience - customer service could be improved on every level.

Stay far away. If you choose to stay here, be sure to take photos of your room prior to leaving for the day. Items were missing from my room following the cleaning service paying a visit to my room. After I filed the stolen item complaint, I was informed by management that the cleaning service shouldn’t remove any items from the room since the sheets are never changed. I was informed by the supervisor that the cleaning service is instructed to make the bed and fold the existing towels but never replace. Although I have no incentive to lie about stolen items, the management team here says since I can’t prove it was stolen then there’s nothing to disgust. I think this style of management is abusive to guests and is criminal. It’s not a settling feeling to be staying in a hotel that supports team members robbing from guests.

We stayed two nights and had a wonderful time. So much to do within walking distance- our favorite was Sawmill Market across the street. This place is safe, clean, modern, and friendly. The pool is fabulous but they do share it with their sister hotel next door (Hotel Chaco). Also loved the restaurant and gift shop on site. Will definitely be back.

Overall, my experience and impressions of this hotel are positive. The location (a few minutes walk to the plaza)(10 minutes to the airport) is its most attractive feature. The rooms and amenities are average for the industry establishments of similar quality. The restaurant is excellent and the full bar is a bonus. The only negative experience was the elevator situation...there was one working elevator and it smelled like a bottle of cologne exploded inside.

Dinner here was incredible. It’s one of my great uncles favorite places to dine with his wife of 70 years. He just turned 93 and invited us to have dinner here. We didn’t stay in the hotel this time but the service in the lobby was top notch and the Mexican/Western decor is beautiful. Very cozy. The server we had was very patient and understanding. Hats off to you sir for your help with my family and getting all the food to our table.

I'm currently booked for four nights. I have not had hot water in my shower for the last 3 days. An engineer came up this evening to tell me that one of their boilers is out and to run the hot water in the sink and the shower for 20 to 30 minutes. It has been running for an hour and Still no hot water in the shower. It is 7:30 at night and they want me to a second floor room so that I can have hot water. Zero consideration for the fact that I'm paying a decent amount of money for this place. Seems to me a hot shower is a pretty standard requirement for a hotel room.

I chose this hotel at the end of my trip/long week of hiking in the mountains, to treat myself to some luxury. Not even close. The staff was minimally helpful - everyone else in NM has been delightful and friendly. The room (quite pricey) looks like a Motel 6 room. And the food was inedible to me. The “balcony” was a joke- the size of the walk in shower and no chair to sit on. So disappointing.

Positives: staff were always friendly, helpful, and professional Location: minutes from top attractions including old town, museums, and bio parks Parking: plenty, not an issue at all, complementary valet parking which i used twice and was helpful patio area: great Pool: big but full of leaves :-) Jacuzzi: nice Coffee: nice & hot every morning Pet friend: and reasonable pet fee. Food: this was the food I ate as part of the conference and wasn't good, so we did most meals outside but was nice to have a safety place inside Souvenir shop: great and plenty of items, friendly staff there too. Rooms: not very clean, shower was not clean, showerhead and waterflow was annoying, our view was not that great either. But rooms were big. Hallways and the whole area: not as organized or clean as other places I've been to, true for carpets, mirrors, ... Maintenance: knowing that our conferences are planned months ahead, was interesting that they were changing cable devices during the conference !!! Not good planning on the side of the manager. Overall: this is a really good 3 to 3.5 stars hotel in a really really good location; staff are great but perhaps management can do better.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Their computer systems constantly posed an issue, and clearly need updating. But other than that, I had a fantastic stay. Beautiful hotel with gorgeous amenities. Highly recommend for any traveler or businessperson coming through Albuquerque.

Stayed at Hotel Albuquerque while in town on business and was so happy with the experience. The staff is so wonderful, helpful, and friendly. One evening I wanted a Sprite and the gift shop didn’t have any so I called room service…and they brought it to me free of charge! The bed was so comfortable, I didn’t want to get up in the mornings!! Will definitely stay again! (That said, I had a HORRIBLE experience at the restaurant but left a separate review for that. I know I’ll stay at the hotel again but warn everyone away from the hotel restaurant!!)

Stayed here before. Rooms getting old, service terrible. Took 15 mins to get a margarita in their Mexican bar! Worst I’ve had. Food blah. AC makes so much noise you have to crank the TV and the neighbors complained in their best rooms! Stay next door looks amazing no clue why it’s not better represented on all the hotel apps. Frustrating night stay looking out at a really nice hotel next door. Needs an upgrade! Not good value.

Very pleasant stay this weekend was our first time using this hotel and it was worth the price very clean and modern room. Service was excellent and they got us into our room before the check in time within walking distance of sawmill market which is a must visit for great food and variety will definitely be staying here again

Alec went above & beyond for my family, and I truly appreciated his customer service . As a business owner, I would be happy to come across more Alec’s in this world. This hotel is also 10/10. So clean, so luxury, and overall 10/10 staff.

I've stayed here before. I was there for a conference. Previously I was at New Year's celebration. My only complaint is that one of the two elevators was out of service the entire week. The staff was friendly and helpful. My room was newly refurbished. Ice machine was out of service with no sign or indication of where ice might be available. Maybe it was a Covid thing.

The hotel was very clean, the room was nothing special, beds were too small. They didn’t tell us we had a choice of queen or double! Dogs are allowed, 75 for one and an additional is 35. The food at the Gardunos was good. Not great, but it hit the spot. And the service was excellent! There was an elevator with a door that is not working correctly. It takes about 90 seconds to close. Very disconcerting. The location is good. Right next to old town, that is a plus. I would stay here again.

Julie in Hospitality was very helpful to getting my meeting room light refreshments together. I spoke to a few other people who weren't very helpful before I spoke to Julie, but she turned it around. Bagels were fresh and the coffee was hot. There's a beautiful courtyard and lovey art throughout the hotel. They do need more parking for large conferences.

Great hotel! Awesome location walkable to old town, so tons to do. The service was top notch, some of the friendliest people. Rooms were recently renovated and quite nice, they even thought to make the shower heads fit tall people! Bartenders and restaurant staff were super nice and helpful. Highly recommend!!!! Would definitely come back.

This hotel is fantastic for its category, but has one significant flaw: the showers are downright TERRIBLE. They're modern and look nice, but functionally they have very little water pressure and a tiny amount of water flow. If it weren't for this glaring issue, I'd have given it a 5 star rating.

We had a great week stay, hotel is historic with modern upgrades. Clean and spacious room with comfortable beds. Excellent view of Sandia Mountains. Staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous. They were very helpful with information on local recommendations and attractions. Shopping and restaurants are all within a short walking distance from hotel.

My sister was here for a wedding and I came to visit and stay with her. The place was clean and amazingly quiet. The linen was fresh. The amenities in the bathroom were perfect. The whole setup was inviting. I have to give props to the security team as there was a drunken groom running around aimlessly being super hostile. The security team did take action against keeping their guests safe as they locked the doors after he was given a few warnings. I recommend this place at least once if you're ever in the area.

I had a very nice experience at this Hotel. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the whole hotel overall was clean and very well maintained. The pool area especially, was very well manicured creating an inviting and relaxing environment. The location is close to several entertainment options, and the surrounding neighborhood is historic and very interesting. I recommend this hotel to anyone who will be visiting Albuquerque.

Amazing property and amazing customer service from the smooth check in interaction I had with staff. Everyone was so accommodating, resourceful, and genuinely so nice! I thank everyone at the front desk, Randy, David, housekeeping and the entire staff on property! Thank you for the hospitality and wonderful experience I had at the Albuquerque Hotel! Until next time…. Diana Habash

My husband and I decided to finally try the Mexican restaurant. A little date night! I have to say the food was delicious! Our server, George, made the night even more enjoyable by his knowledge of the food and drinks. He was polite and courteous. He suggested a few things for us to try and my husband and I went with his suggestions. Glad we listened to George!!!! The Prickly Pear margaritas were delicious. It went perfectly with the Surf and Turf Chimichangas. Enjoy! And ask for George, you won’t regret it.

Hotel staff very friendly, room was nice. Bed was not comfortable, shower has no pressure, you have to run the water for 10 minutes before it gets warm. Our experience at the restaurant was a disaster; waiter went MIA, food wrong, had to ask for silverware our drinks etc after waiting for a long time. Thankfully the bartender stepped in and helped us. I never received any email communications or receipt. After I checked out I received this text that said “while you stay with us you can use this texting service to communicate with us”…. I did expect more for the price honestly

I spend a delightful few days here each year and just did once again. The remodeled rooms are open, clean and sunny. The staff is always extremely fun and helpful. Restaurant food and both bars are excellent. The location in Old Town is perfect and near the interstate and historic sites. I highly recommend this hotel as well as the adjacent/partner Chaco hotel, which has the best rooftop bar in town.
