I was skeptical to stay as I saw multiple previous reviews regarding this property, unfortunately they were right on. I arrived to what appeared to be black mold in the bathroom. Asked if housekeeping could come by to clean it up, they said it would take a while. They never showed up. I attempted to eat downstairs next to the water feature only to be told by the restaurant staff that I couldn’t eat there and to move, they said it was a health concern. I found it ironic how what appeared to be black mold in the room wasn’t an issue, yet the eating a commercial food product in the lobby was. No other persons were dining and I wasn’t at a restaurant table, I was seated at a Lobby table in the water feature area. Ventilation air is dirty, leaving marks on the ceiling. Bathroom floor had scum and curtains were old/dirty. They were out of laundry supplies and couldn’t answer when they’d restock. Their afternoon snacks were pathetic. Some chips and hummus. Why even do it? The jacuzzi had a platform built over it, the staff stated it was permanently shut down. Only good thing was the cooks at breakfast worked hard and had a nice attitude. This property is very poorly managed and shouldn’t be allowed to be a Hilton property. They have this advertised as a 5 star property, that is comical. It wouldn’t even make a 3 star with how it’s run and the current condition. Very disappointed.

Hilton should be ashamed of letting this property decline to the level and condition the hotel is in. We stayed in two different rooms. Both beds were completely worn out. The furniture is worn and dirty. The blackout blinds were both torn and tattered. There was black mold growing in the caulking in the shower. These rooms are shot! So lets talk about the personnel...For the most part good, However, one snippy counter person was as unprofessional as they get. If you go to the bar be prepared to be chastised by the bartenders if you stand at the bar and lower you mask to take a drink.. Mind you this is not a NM mandate but one of there own....and last but not least, I hope you like dogs because the it seems that everyone there brought a dog with them, and that explains the odor. But on the bright the entire breakfast staff and cooks were awesome !!!

Very nice faciltity at a great price. I will stay here again. The staff is friendly and helpful. Drinks are provided in the evening, and eggs-to-order provided for breakfast in the morning. Rooms are one-bedroom, quiet and comfortable. The gentleman cleaning in the dining area (Guadalupe) smiled and made eye contact, which I appreciated.

I am surprised by the number of high reviews. The room was outdated, furniture literally falling apart at the seams. It was also dirty; my pillow had makeup on it. The blackout curtains had shreds in them. There was no closet door and no full-length mirror. A musty smell pervaded the room. It felt neglected and wear-worn, and was depressing. The breakfast was standard Hilton fare, but the dining area was none too clean and all surfaces were sticky.

This is an outstanding hotel. From the time that you check in to the time that you check out, all of the staff are friendly, courteous, and they all have smiles on their faces. You can tell they enjoy working there and are appreciative and happy to help you with whatever you need. The breakfast are warm, plentiful, and good and tasty. In the evening, we went down to the managers evening reception where they have plenty of fun, snacks and free drinks. They have lots of parking spaces and even on the busiest day we were able to find a parking spot that was not too far from the front door. We spent six days at this hotel, and it was a very pleasant stay. I would highly recommend this hotel property to any one staying in the Albuquerque area.

We are staying here December 21st and 22nd. WARNING THEY ARE UNDER CONSTRUCTION UNTIL JUNE, while still being open, and the noises from the workers are pretty annoying during the day. They don't tell you that when you book. Also we had to call maintenance three different times because either it was extremely hot or extremely cold. The ac was not working with the thermostat so he had to turn it to cold if it was hot and then to hot if it got too cold. Finally at noon today they agreed to change our room. They did upgrade our room but dang we've had to listen to drilling and banging all day. They said they stop working at 6 and will be here til June. Just heads up folks. Oh and the food is not too bad. 🙃👍

Extremely dissatisfied with our stay. Rented two “wellness rooms”. The rooms look as if they hadn’t been professionally cleaned in quite some time. The sheets needed to be replaced. When turning on the faucet the water was dark gray with black sediment in both rooms. We overheard other guests say the pool was “like pudding” or “ chicken noodle soup”. They could not have been more correct. It was absolutely disgusting! I wish I could post pictures here. I took pictures of the sink, the water coming from the sink, the pool and the shower. Needless to say we WILL NOT be staying here ever again. I HIGHLY recommend you look elsewhere as the staff stated “they are aware” of the condition of the hotel yet nothing is being corrected. Definitely money wasted.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff is incredible, and the morning breakfast with custom made omelettes a treat. Great location. If you have a vehicle, unfortunately, things not within walking distance if you do not, this is the biggest drawback. There is even a little coffee shop with the person who ran it made you feel welcomed in the morning. The main reason I would support this day is a program they have developed for people with disabilities who work for several weeks in different areas of the hotel. I saw firsthand the pride that people had in learning skill. There’s nothing that builds a self-esteem, and being given a chance and have the opportunity to dress nicely to go to work. I’m hoping this program is in other communities.

This was my first experience with Embassy suites and I was very pleased. The hotel is a little older but has been kept up and very clean. The open area as you come into the hotel has been beautifully renovated. Service was top notch. The front desk staff went out of there was to be of service. Migal went above and beyond to help. Very pleasant stay.

The hotel is close to downtown Albuquerque where the convention events are held, like Comic Con. It's next to the Interstate 40 and 25 so easy to get to when traveling in. The rooms are large as well as the bathroom and very comfortable. But the only thing I didn't like was the price change which is a bit too much for Saturday's price. Plus they charge $12 for parking fees which they didn't do the last time I was there. But if you can afford it, its the place to stay. The breakfast buffet in the morning is also great with many selections to choose from. Great for families.

The made-to-order omelets and pancakes were great. A nice selection of other hot and cold breakfast items were available, too. They also have an evening reception with snacks and beverages We requested some things from the front desk and received them, except when our do not disturb sign was out. The staff was courteous. We needed maintenance late one night, and they arrived fairly quickly. We were there for a convention and the shuttle service was great.

Shoutout to Michael at the front desk for solving an issue caused by booking with a third-party company. Our room was large and clean. The pet fee is more steep than usual at $75, but the staff was so nice to my dog. We enjoyed our short stay.

I really wish I would have paid better attention to the reviews. The rooms were old and outdated (they are currently working on updating them). The first room we checked into was awful. Conditioning vent on the ceiling was taped in place and there was a horrible smell. They changed our room for us. The next room smelled a little better. The bed was hard as a rock, black mold in the bathroom and the room was so dark you couldn't do anything in the seating area. The front desk staff, breakfast and the bartender are the only reason this hotel a 3 star. It would have been a 1 if those areas weren't so great. Maybe the hotel will be better after the renovation. I probably won't ever find out.

Overall it was a pretty decent hotel. My wife and daughter were with me, my daughter thought it was really nice. I had two issues, the toilet would barely flush and I had to keep messing with it and then I had a $13 charge that I couldn’t figure out. I called and apparently it was for parking which would have been nice to know in advance of booking and also…why am I paying for parking at a hotel in Albuquerque. It’s not like it’s a heavy tourist area around the hotel.

I booked 4 rooms with king beds. 3 for one night and one for two nights. All for $208.72 per night. I get there and they say they don’t have the king room for the two nights and switch me to a double bed room for the two nights. They stayed that had to cancel the king room and reserve the double bed room for the two nights. I asked them why this happened when I reserved the rooms and they were available at the time reserved. They said they didn’t have any king rooms left and that was the only way to do it. I then get my credit card bill and have 5 charges for the hotel for the reservation. Two were for 208.72 one was for 221.64 one was for $443.28 and the fifth one was for $340.01. They stated that the prices are not the same when you book it as when you check in and that the fifth charge was for a cancellation fee. I tried told them that I did no cancel the room and explained the situation. He said that was the policy to charge me for the cancellation and up charge for the room change that they did not me. I was overcharged on my credit card $378.77 for their actions. They never ever mentioned during checkin that there was a price change do to the changes he made. By the way the hotel was not full for those nights and He was very rude. Not to mention that there was old food and drinks in the fridge. Word of advice, confirm the price at check in and make sure your card in not charged.

We stayed at Embassy for a professional conference. We were warmly greeted by David and he was extremely helpful in getting us acclimated. Our room was clean and perfectly decorated. The bed was confortable and I thought the pillows were fine. Most places have flat pillows that offer no support. These stayed fluffy all night. Breakfast was delicious and filling, we definitely recommend trying the omelets. We enjoyed the window view and our stay here. We would stay here again.

It's a nice hotel but be prepared to be woken up in the middle of the night to the fire alarm going off and get some exercise going down several flights of stairs only to be told it's a flase alarm. This is the second time in a row we have stayed here where the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night only to be told it was people smoking in the bathroom. When I told the front desk this he said "unfortunately we can't keep vagrants from smoking in the bathroom". Sounds to me like you have a chronic problem and you all are not trying hard enough to fix it. Getting to small children back to sleep after being frightened is not exactly the easiest thing to do. Wish you could fix the problem because otherwise it's a nice hotel.

I travel for work and stay in Hilton hotels often. When I can find one available I always book Embassy Suites. Large corner rooms are what I like. Nice to have an area to sit and rest and not sit on the bed. My morning cooked to order omelette is always welcome and a great way to start my day. I had a package being delivered and Jared was kind enough to text me upon its arrival and had it ready when I came to the front desk. To say thank you, I shared some of our marketing give away items with him. We needed to use the business office this time and a very nice young lady walked us to the area and let us in. We got some work done and then hit the evening reception. Where we had a few snacks and of course libation. Check out was a simple text and David took care of the rest. I look forward to my next stay in Albuquerque. Cheers!

All things considered, it's a pretty nice hotel. There's free buffet breakfast from 7am to 9/10:30am. They messed up our room service order, so when we called them back to fix it, they said they would and still didn't. That's not the end of the world though, it's ok, for me at least. Still really nice staff overall. Regarding the rooms, I'm not sure if it's like this for every room, but there are 2 sections in each room that are split off by a wall and door. One person can sleep on the bed, and one person on the pullout couch bed. That's just a nice touch of privacy that's hard to find. Then that privacy gets completely disregard for the bathroom. There's no real bathroom door, just a sliding door that doesn't latch into anything. That's just completely beyond me.

So happy that Hilton decided to update their rooms at this location! My last stay was really disappointing. The rooms were becoming really run down and uncomfortable, definitely not worth the price per night. Fast forward to my recent visit, 100% improvements. The bed was comfortable, the dećor updated to a more modern look, the living area had new furniture, the staff more responsive and friendly. Thank you!

Looks and layout are exactly the same as many other Embassy Suites. Large rooms with comfortable beds. Centrally located but not much within walking distance. The complementary evening happy hour only allows 2 drinks maximum. One of the bar servers was quite rude when I placed my tip on the counter instead of the tip jar that I hadn’t noticed. I certainly didn’t make the mistake of tipping again. Thankfully, the front desk staff is much more friendly. Edit: I had to deduct another star. We didn’t have any housekeeping service on our last day. We called for towels and used the robo-customer service line when we returned to our room that night. After waiting over an hour for towels, we called the front desk. The woman who answered said that the robo line isn’t working for towels because the housekeeper doesn’t have her phone today. How would we know that? And as for the complaint about no maid service at all, the woman on the phone attempted to blame us.

This hotel was supposedly renovated recently, yet everywhere I looked in the main lobby and restaurant area, the furniture was old/dirty, as well as the carpet was very worn and not clean. The beds were comfortable. The wait staff was friendly. Meals were mediocre. I did not care for the location of the hotel in general.

  • 1/5 Nathan W. 8 months ago on Google
This hotel is definitely a dump pretending to be a nice place. The elevators look all beat up and I get to my room, turn on the lights, and the bulbs are flickering. They put free snacks in the premium rooms, but it's chips, soda, and candy. Gross. I'm an adult who wanted to stay at a nice hotel - what makes you think I eat those things? The bathroom looks like it hasn't been renovated in 25 years, it has a chipped bathtub rather than a walk in shower with sliding glass door. I check out at 11 and they tell me there's no more coffee. What? Are you serious? An absolute dumpster fire of an excuse for a 5 star hotel. I will both save money, and stay at a nicer place, next time.

Everything about this hotel is great. The breakfast buffet is amazing and staff is nice and helpful. However, we had our 3 kids swim in the indoor pool and the water looked murky. All 3 kids have a cold and I’m sure they must of got a bug from the pool. I wanted to report it to make sure mgmt is testing the water regularly, especially since the pool is always crowded. We stayed there this last weekend. Thank you.

Great hotel with recent upgrades. Convenient location near the airport with easy access to downtown and I 40. Typical upscale breakfast buffet provided. Restaurant open for dinner has a great variety at reasonable prices. Staff is friendly courteous and professional. Highly recommend.

Location was easy access. My room was super clean and fresh. Staff was friendly and hotel lobby is beautiful. Breakfast is nice (made to order omelettes...on point) Parking fee is a bit weird...parking lot is "guest park at own risk" Would definitely stay again and pay fee if I have to.

We had a really enjoyable 5 night stay. Room was quiet (even though our room had a view of the Interstate-and the mountains), very nicely appointed, clean, spacious, and comfortable. Staff was friendly - nice to again stay in a hotel that appeared to have a full compliment of staff. Having done a fair amount of travel recently, including a conference at a high-end, (and high-priced) “Luxury” hotel, this was far and away our favorite place to stay in quite a while.

Room wasn't clean and took multiple times of saying something to get it cleaned. Food is not great. We spent 120 for a simple meal non of wanted to finish. The staff is nice though!

This Embassy Suites is on the Univ of NM's campus. It's a great location and convenient to many areas. The area can get a little congested during rush hour, which is understandable. The quality of the hotel is as expected; top notch. The guest staff is awesome and very friendly. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Tammi was extremely helpful with directions to the closest drug store.

Wow! What a beautiful hotel!! Everyone was super friendly and welcoming! Great service! Super clean! The complimentary breakfast was amazing! Made to order breakfast grill! This is probably the best stay or experience I’ve had at a hotel in a long while.

First of all I like to say I have NEVER experienced this with any other EMBASSY SUITES. I love to stay here because of the cleaness and the welcoming staff every where else I stayed. PLEASE READ!! This stay I thought was going to be the same. However I got a unwelcome attitude from the very moment I check in. I was not given my parking pass (which they charged me for and seen later). Now this is what gets me, I seen a charge for $62.86 from the Cyprus (Albuquerque Embassy Suites). I called for details because obviously I did not charge this, otherwise I would not be complaining. The lady I talked to stated first, there won't be a mistake because the bar always checks identification. I continued to call because NO ONE WAS GETTING BACK AT ME. When I called again she tells me she called me back and later informed me it was a room charge. My question was now, So anyone off the streets can come in and say some random room and not being a responsible HOTEL they can have free drinks, food, and other expenses on your room? The Embassy always has been great. I love staying there but in Albuquerque I would think twice. With their snotty attitudes and being unaware of people's charges. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE EMBASSY BY HILTON IN ALBUQUERQUE NM. WATCH OUT FOR CHARGES AND ALWAYS CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS.. A MUST READ!!

Very nice older hotel. Only complaint was the shower curtains and the shower head. I have had better showers at State Park Campgrounds. Water barely came out and shot everywhere but on me. Other than the shower this hotel is awesome. Great building, great rooms, impeccable service, super friendly. Despite the terrible shower experience I would stay again because everything else is so good. Great beds, great location, very clean, except shower. Top notch hotel with Motel 6 quality bathrooms, weird. The restaurant and breakfast were very good. Delicious food with incredible service.

I stayed one night and a corner suite and was amazing. I would only recommend they check for mold in room after i ventilated with fan all night the smell went away. Room 734. The property was beautiful. I would stay again. My frigerator didn't work wasn't cold. I left early next morning so I forgot to report it. Overall i loved the property and I felt safe there. 😊

The hotel was very accommodating. Front desk was friendly at check in. Loved the instant hot water in the room! Breakfast was nice, the omelette chef was amazing! It's December, so it's cold and it had snowed but it was cold in the breakfast area. Would be hard to warm up the room but warm plates would help keep the food from getting cold so fast. The bar staff was so kind to us. We arrived late and they were getting ready to close but made us a quesadilla anyhow. There are 3 elevators and they're fast. Decor has that Southwest look and is in good condition, just a tad outdated. Bed was comfy, lots of pillows. We would stay again.

We found our experience at Embassy Suites to be very good. The rooms were spacious and clean. All our contacts with the staff were great. They were patient and kind at all times, and never rushed you. The choices for breakfast were great, including made-to-order omelets. The room was quiet and clean. It is a great place to stay, especially for those traveling with children, since it allowed a separate area when kids needed to get to bed earlier than the adults.

One of the most comfortable stays i have had in past couple of years!! Although the room design is a little outdated but brilliant breakfast and also you get complimentary happy hour drinks too!!! And best part it was pet friendly so my dog was very happy as well!! Worth the money!!

We enjoyed our stay at Embassy Suites by Hilton Albuquerque. The hotel clerk was very friendly and helpful. The Breakfast made-to-order was delicious, especially the omelet. The pool was nice. Maybe just one recommendation for the hotel to get a heated pool. It was kind of cold. Other than that, our stay was pleasant and we'd most definitely be back.

Mixed Review. I was here for a conference, and brought my elderly cat with me because she has special needs. First, the good stuff. The room was clean, well-appointed, and comfortable. The breakfast was quite good, especially the made-to-order omelets and pancakes. Those ladies rocked! Having a Starbucks on site was nice. The public spaces were pleasant and clean, and the water features were so nice to sit near, especially when I was reading a book while eating. Now, the not-so-good stuff. The conference space was freezing. I had to buy a sweatshirt to put on simply to survive the presentations, especially if I was seated in the rear of the ballroom. You could have hung meat in there! The internet for the conference space was not adequate for the number of people who attended our conference. If you have an electric or plug-in hybrid car, forget about plugging it in while you're paying $15 per night to park. There's no charging available. And last, but certainly not least, be VERY CAREFUL IF YOU HAVE A PET. I was explicit at check-in that I DID NOT WANT maid service during my stay, because my cat would be loose in my room. I told the front desk personnel that I would come get towels if I needed them. But upon returning to my room one day, I saw that the door was wide open and ran into a maid leaving as I arrived! Fortunately my cat had not escaped. But upon contacting housekeeping, they informed me that the front desk personnel had stated that I had put in an order for service on that date, which was absolutely incorrect. These are the kinds of details that are extremely important to guests.

It's a great place to stay - Two room suite, very nice - Located next to the Uptown Mall. * Checked in - lady at desk looked at us, never said a word. After she was done with whatever she was doing (5-7min later) she asked what can she do for us (could have at least greeted us when we stepped up to the front desk). First night there we asked about their shuttle service - it only runs from 8am until 2pm (that's sad).

Driving across country with my kids and decided to give this Embassy Suites a try. Very clean, well maintained, and a friendly staff. The breakfast didn't disappoint. A good representation for Embassy Suites at a reasonable price. We will be back.

Embassy Suites is my go to for business travel. This is a great hotel with access to all interstates going through Albuquerque. Cook-to-order breakfast was deluxe. Nice happy hour. Not sure why they charge so much for parking when there isn’t a valet, covered parking and there is ample parking in the large lot. Located in an industrial/commercial park.

Watch your credit card purchase and bank account at this place. We used one of credit cards to check in and had a reservation booking. But on a different card used to drink at the bar. And was told us that we used that card to book a room. Which was not. Don't know why they charge that card for 200.00 for a 36.00 drink. Just be careful at the place... Before you book reservation or charge anything it the bar.

Beautiful hotel, well maintained, gorgeous rooms and views. Love the set up. Elevators are glass so you can see the interior of the hotel. The lobby/reception/restaurant is in the center and you can look up at each floor. Our little girl loved the running water rock pools.

I'd love to give this place 5 stars but the rooms are very outdated . You could feel the springs through the pullout mattress. The room was clean but it did have a bad smell to it & there was residue in the sink. The highlight of our short stay was the breakfast. The gentleman that was making omelettes did such a good job. He was very accommodating and friendly.

One of the best hotels I have ever been! Suites are very spacious, comfortable and well-maintained. I was really impressed by the fact that in spite of being located next to the highway, you cannot hear most of the noise in the outside (except for REALLY loud bikes or cars, which is kind of frequent). the gym is basic, but it did not disappoint: it is just what you may need for a work out away from home. I tried every made-to-order daily special for breakfast, so yummy!! Breakfast choices are wide so there is something for every guest. It was also nice to have drink specials during the evenings! There are no stores, gas stations, restaurants or any other businesses within walking distance so you would need to order delivery. This last was the only "issue" I found, but it was not a big deal for me. Super recommended!!!

My room was spacious and could have been great, but the decor was dated. There was construction on the floor above my room. Maintenance guys were in my room without any warning till I walked in and was shocked that this could happen . They apologized, but I couldn't stay in there and relax. Then, the heat in the bedroom didn't work two of the nights I was there (during a cold spell). However, the conference room was great. The breakfast buffet was WONDERFUL. The restaurant and bar had great service, friendly staff and great food/drinks. So, overall, the trip was pretty good.

This is the best hotel in Albuquerque!! The staff and accommodations are incredible and this will be our hotel of choice on our many trips from Phoenix to Oklahoma City. I became ill during our stay and needed to extend our stay an additional night. The staff were very caring and made every effort to see that we had everything we needed to make our stay more comfortable. As we checked out I spoke with the front desk attendant, Katherine, to let her know what a lovely time we had and that the staff, as well as the accommodations, were the best!

I’m always pleased when we stay here at this hotel. Always clean, always friendly and the kids enjoy the pool. They’re breakfast with made to order omelettes is always on par. It’s right off the highway and easy to get to. My one complaint this time is when booking my reservation. They really messed it up and only gave us one bed for a family of five. fortunately, they had a pull out bed, but still made it a tight fit for all of us. Luckily my children are young and we all managed to fit. We will be back on our next visit.
