The desk clerk (evening shift) oozed superior customer service. She was very pleasant and helpful. My room was clean, bed was nice and soft but my pillows were like sleeping on rocks. Restless sleep and rose the next morning with a cricked neck. The location did not have ample restaurants from which to choose.

It appears to be under construction which I don't remember seeing in the listing. Tried to talk to the lady at the front desk with the name that begins with an A but she could care less. The abundance of mold all over the bathroom, especially the shower and the wall. The shower head was abysmal and I can't even call it a shower head. The smell emanating from the drain in the bathroom sink turned my stomach. Owner, this room should not be rented out until it's renovated and I think you should take the Platinum award or prestigious award banner from 2015 off the front of the hotel. Posting here because hopefully you will be able to pay attention to it because your employee or co-owner this morning at the desk could have cared less. Lots of great reviews but I'm not sure what rooms they got. You may wish to check your room before checking in. Great location!

Must read! This place is just gross. The front desk lady was nice. The whole area doesn’t seem safe at all and we just felt super uncomfortable and insecure in this neighborhood. Although we went into the room and wanted to leave early in the morning but then I saw the bed sheet full of blood. That’s just disgusting. So we researched other hotels and after only 20 minutes we decided to leave this place immediately. We still got charged the full amount but I’m happy that we decided to leave and go to Sheraton.

The Best & Cleanest hotel I stayed in Albuquerque out of the 3 that I stayed in the 12 day's I was there but for breakfast because of Covid you couldn't get your own items. They had someone get then for you & you couldn't it in the breakfast room. It was just get it & go but the beds were Awesome. In fact, as a 22 Year Professional Truckdriver, from now on I'm only staying at Choice Hotels like this one was because they Always have the best beds.

Undergoing renovations. This hotel has seen better days. It is completely outdatedb and at first, I thought we had made a huge mistake and that we'd have to sleep in the car and lose the money (there are no refunds). Be aware there is active remodeling going on so, be prepared to walk into an old hotel trying to catch up to modern times. The area seems a little sketchy. Luckily, we were able to park where we could see our car from the window. That being said, the bedsheets were clean and the beds comfy. Towels doubled as exfoliation scrubbers but, they were clean. This is a perfect place to get a couple of hours of sleep on a long drive. It was quiet and the beds were clean plus the shower worked. For what the cost was, you can't expect much more than that. The gentleman at the front desk was absolutely lovely! They are pet friendly.

Good location. Close to Old town and downtown. Friendly staff. Good value. Uncomfortable mattress. Underpowered AC unit. Leaky faucet. We could hear the tvs and people talking in the room next to us past 11pm.

Not clean, the woman at the front desk was in a mood, they charged $100 deposit and I still NOT get it back Im going to call my bank for charge back. Too much money for poor quality, they have $68 price in their website and They charged $103 plus the deposit. They do not have heat the room was super cold, you are not allowed to get your breakfast they have an old lady serving you what you need so she touch all your food. I do not recommend. There are better options for less money.

An unremarkable hotel but it isn’t necessarily a bad thing. The area is near Old Town so everything is a walk away. Room itself is good and bathroom was clean. Amenities like a refrigerator, a TV, a microwave were provided. Wall outlets included USB ports to charge electronics. Unfortunately the pool/spa area was closed off in the lobby. Trash bins were overfilled and weren’t replaced. It’s near a busy street so be prepared for traffic passing by. Staff was helpful and served breakfast in the morning. Breakfast provided were basic. Wrapped muffins, hard boiled eggs, bananas, bread. a little disappointing as the hotel advertised “hot breakfast” on their sign. Expected more selection and the ability to serve myself. I had no problems walking out early morning/night.

The owner is very egotistical has a chip on his shoulder and thinks he owns and tries to control how other surrounding businesses run. If he doesn't like something he constantly complains!! He's been a "Karen" for YEARS!!! Instead of complaining about other business he should worry about all the drugs use and dealings going on at his place from his tenants. I WOULDN'T SPEND MY MONEY THERE CAUSE IT ONLY SUPPORTS A PERSON WHO THINKS HE IS ENTITLED AND BETTER THAN EVERYONE. NOPE!!! THERE ARE OTHER FRIENDLIER HOTEL/MOTEL OWNERS WHO DONT KNOCK OTHER BUSINESSES WHO WOULD LOVE AND APPRECIATE YOUR BUSINESS

Room was nice enough. Bare bones, BUT very CLEAN. Woman who appeared to be running the place was warm and friendly as was the staff. Encouraged me to be brave and practice my Spanish whenever the opportunity arose. Great location for our plans. Breakfast bagels were the real deal. Construction and remodelling going on, but they still provided breakfast on site as stated. Senora, I hope your plants do well. Gracias, Julie and Neal

I stayed for three nights on my vacation here. The overall experience was good. The staff was all very nice. The room was spacious and clean. The fridge and microwave in the room were in good condition. The only thing that could be better is the breakfast. They were just serving some very simple food like waffles and bagels. There were no dining tables. So I had to either eat on the sofa or take it back to room. The breakfast also ended pretty early at 9:30 am.

I gave a 1-star because of an incident in the parking lot. The parking was nearly full, and as I was grabbing one of the last compact spots, an employee had me leave the parking spot so he could park there. His car was wide enough it made the spot next to it too small. I tried to explain a paying customer should get a spot, and he did not see it that way. The front desk person was extremely nice and helpful, and the rooms are decent enough.

1st night gave a deposit for the room. I had to clean the room with sanitatiin wipes because it looked dirty but i didn't mind. Extended the same room each day for 5 nights. Was told I would not have to do another deposit. I extended for 5 days. Then a new girl working says i have to do a deposit every time i extend. I asked to speak to a manager she refused. Why would i give 2 deposits for the same room. Then I decide to do a new reservation the next day planning on paying the deposit for a different room n now she's saying they won't rent to me at all. One of the days the front desk worker didn't even show up so to the poor house keeper had to do everything and i wasent able to get new keys but i was patient. People were smoking blues in the hotel rooms. I'm glad she refused my service because I will never give them another cent. Maybe they should have set rules and enforce them. I am going to the better business bureau. Don't waste ur money here.

If you're looking for a good price for a decent hotel in a neighborhood without sketchy people. This is the place to go. The rooms weren't perfect but for the price, it was pretty good. The staff is super nice. They had a decent breakfast to save you money in the morning. My kiss played in the pool. The rooms didn't smell funny. I would come here again.

This is a modest but clean, decent and modern budget hotel a short distance from Albuquerque’s historic center area. Besides offering great value for travelers, we wanted to commend the manager Kathleen. She was pleasant and efficient, and gave us excellent advice on dinner options. Later that night we were unable to operate the remote control for the video screen. First, Kathleen offered us a new clicker. When that didn’t work, she offered to come up to our room and troubleshoot the system. She diagnosed that the remote had to be reset so it synchronized with the room’s screen and fixed the issue. “I read the instruction manual,” she explained modestly. I looked in the Expedia reviews for this place and saw that over the last couple months she has been there, Kathleen has personally responded to every review, whether positive or negative. She's doing a fine job.

The staff was great here. The beds are very high but super comfortable and the rooms were clean and warm. The check-in was quick and easy. I would stay here again!

This hotel sucks. No local channels, continental breakfast sucks and it was a terrible stay in general. I would not recommend this place for my DOG. There is no place to eat around there. The nearest place is McDonald's. The management is terrible. They were trying to keep my money. They didn't want to refund me my money. FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO STAY!!!!!!!

The motel was outdated and looked rough. The sign said "indoor pool, hot breakfast" However the indoor pool was closed and the hot breakfast was very messy. No where to eat, random foods and no drinks. You have to take it back to your room. We requested a crib as advertised and they let us know at arrival (after midnight) there was no crib to use. No offers for a replacement for crib or indoor pool. We had a car full of kids wanting to swim. Walls are paper thin, cheap shampoo/conditioner and floors had water stains everywhere. Spend the extra money and go elsewhere.

This place is clean, the clerk was incredibly nice, and in a great location. I enjoyed a quite night and a decent bed. The only thing that stops me from getting 5 stars was the original room I booked was a non-smoking room but reeked of smoke. They graciously gave me a new room (One with an extra bed!) free of charge. If the original room didn't smell of smoke, I would love to give them 5 stars.

Last minute stopover with late check in. Staff was extremely helpful and accommodating . Recommend a local restaurant for a late night dinner and then even called ahead for us. VERY helpful with local market info. Surprisingly quiet for downtown hotel. Comfortable beds. Plenty of hot water. Parking lot felt secure.

My issues was with the bathroom. Now, I am not super sensitive when it comes to smells. My allergies always have me tore up. But, the smell of the shower curtain as soon as the shower water hit it, it's a slap to the face! It smelled so sour and mildew like. It was terrible. The water pressure I noticed was not good, there was not even a regular shower head, it was like a faucet tip. After I drenched the curtain in febreeze to where I could tolerate a shower, I had my shower. I should have checked the towels first. They were slightly damp to the touch and sour just like the shower curtain. The smell will stick to your skin if you use a sour smelling towel. I literally dried myself off with my clean clothing, good thing I packed an extra two outfits. It may seem like something small to complain about for some, but for me, it's just not sanitary at all and really bothers me. The only plus was the bed was actually nice and firm, not sunken in on the edge or middle like a lot of hotel rooms. Also, if you're a person that likes your room temp very cool. The minimum the thermostat goes is 65 degrees and you cannot control the fan speed. It's set and locked on low.

Right from check in you get greeted by the friendly front desk (the man working on Sunday 430pm) so nice!! Great customer service, let us know all about the area, thanked me for being a diamond member choice member, etc... the whole works. The room is huge, beds are comfy, no it's not a luxury hotel, but you get more than what you paid for and it was definitely worth it. Literally within walking distance of this hotel is a ton of food and shopping. Prime location in old Town area. When I went for breakfast the Romanian lady was so sweet and helpful. She's a total doll. I'm still here now, we checkout tomorrow but I'm really glad we stayed here and I'll be back next time I come to Albuquerque.

We were very happy to find a place where we could park our large moving truck. It's only rated as a two-star hotel, so we weren't expecting much, But the rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall, it exceeded our expectations. The breakfast room was under construction, but they had tables set out for food and an attendant serving us. It was a great place to stay and we will definitely look for it again next time we come through town.
