Pictures are false advertisement. Property is disgustingly dirty, broken windows, drug deals happening in plain site, over run homeless people. Very unsafe place. Manager states they have ARMED guards on duty around the clock. That says it all… Owner refused refund even though we did not feel safe and pictures portray a completely different setting. STAY AWAY! This place needs to be condemned! Horrible customer service and no regard for human safety. The city of Albuquerque needs to do something about this. We were down for Balloon Fiesta and wanted to stay an extra night and this is what we could find on short notice after checking out of our original hotel.

Their own armed security guard was shot and killed a few days ago here in a hallway. What does that tell you about the place?!!!

AVOID We booked a room through priceline shortly before midnight. The closer we got to the hotel the seedier it got. When we pulled up to park the parking was plastered with signs that say the hotel is not responsible for stolen or damaged property. The place was terribly shady. When we went in we asked if we could request 2 beds and that was not available, the place was so seedy that I asked if it would be possible to get a refund (I wanted to drive through the night rather than stay here). The lady at the front desk said yes the transaction could be voided. She gave me a card and wrote her name on it and said it would take 2 days for it to show up credited. When we left the hotel there was a guy blocking the front door so that we couldn't leave, after a minute he moved up, we squeezed out the door and there were two guys checking out our car, it seemed like the guy blocking the door was keeping watch for them. We drove immediately to a close by gas station to gas up and there were armed guards there....I would not advise anyone to stay in this area. We never received the credit. The owner said it was their policy to not refund, even though his employee told us they would do that....he said they would not honor what the employee told us. We did make the decision to leave based on what she told us, but even though we wont get a refund, I'm glad we left. I would not recommend this place and I think Priceline should not do business with this hotel. I do believe that this hotel's business practices are extremely poor. I also feel that this area of Albuquerque is extremely dangerous. Between obvious gang and criminal activity and the adult theater two doors down from this hotel I never felt safe or clean from the moment we exited the highway. Rhea was nice unfortunately her bosses were not. As an update to our awful experience, after being shut out by hotel management my husband contacted Priceline directly and Priceline negotiated a refund. Bottom line....AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS.

This place is disgusting. The room is filthy. Floors bed. Everything is filthy. Paid for a non smoking room and it smelt like a bar! There was no pillows on bed. People fighting and yelling outside the door. It was worse than being in jail. The state should close this place.

Not the cleanest or the safest place to stay the owner of the building is very rude and unreasonable yells at the guest including my boyfriend at the time we stayed. I remained calm and respectful she eventually gave me the same respect but needs to work on her attitude towards people I understand how people can be but the new guest should be treated nice until given a reason to be mean. Now as for the other employees at the front desk were amazing if I could rate just them I would give them 5 stars as for one house keeper she is disrespectful and would try and hit on my boyfriend she stayed inn the room next to ours and blast the music at all hours of the night so I had an ok experience over all those free kinks just needs fixing

Room smelled disgusting. The toilet hadn't been cleaned since the last occupant. The bathroom smelled of urine and the floor was sticky. There was a used soap bar in the shower from the last occupant so that hadn't been cleaned either. There was no toilet paper. The only chair in the room was covered in mystery stains. The carpet was covered in crumbs. The curtains were messed up and held together with safety pins and couldn't be closed, and people were constantly walking by the window all night. Old food was still in the mini fridge. Even the TV remote was covered in gunk. I wonder how often they actually clean their rooms here. At the very least not between each guest. Overall awful experience.

Worst customer service . The lady picked up and said no no no we cancel Expedia, and just hanged up. I had to call again and she did the same again. Not sure what her problem is . The time is 1;41 pm mts . Also she picks up as if it was her home phone with just hello . No hotel greeting to know you are calling the right place . Now I have to rebook another ola e because of her incompetence .

The rooms are disgusting just made to look semi clean and it seems to be falling apart. I doubt there's a single room where everything works as it should!

Pulled in and saw a sign posted on the door that said they'd shoot anybody at the door who didn't call ahead first. Stood there for over an hour and not once did I get shot at! Talk about false advertising.

Right now it is under renovations. That is why I was there, I work construction. It should be pretty nice once it is open again.

It still needs much hard work inside the rooms I remember how bad that place was back in the day. The owners have worked hard to change the bad to crime free. I know I am safe & belongings. Once they can refurbish all of the rooms, & make it all non smoking (a great place for smokers). Employees are always happy to help you, with smiles & the price is a value. This palace has be improved try it out convenient to the big I.
