This is hands down the worst IHG hotel I have ever stayed at. With work I stay long term in many hotels which gives me a great insight overall. I am not impressed with this establishment . Pros: we had a very select few of the employees that were hospitable and a joy to see. Two of the front desk ladies , Ellie and Debbie, I believe ,were great. Always smiled and greeted guests and even made my young son feel very welcomed. The dinning room hostess Aida was also very helpful and hospitable. She went out of her way almost every morning to talk with us and my son. The breakfast was decent and they even offered some finger foods in the evenings. The hotel had a lot to offer such as a small gym, pool room with hot tub and a very nice fenced off patio area. Unfortunately the gym room had standing water in it more than once during our stay allowing electrical plugins to be submerged ( picture added ) the hot tub was out of order more times than not and the out door patio was used as a smoking pit by both guests and employees rendering it useless to anyone wanting to just enjoy outside. Cons: Upon arriving our room was pretty outdated and showed not only damages but severely worn out furniture. The room was FILTHY. ( pictures added) the foul smell of the room was never conquered during our three month stay here. Countless odor sprays, candles, fans, even left the windows open most nights when cool enough to try and air it out. When we left it still stank and the smell stayed with some of our linens even after arriving back home days later. Also upon arriving our ice maker didn’t work. We called the front to notify and we were told maintenance would be there shortly, they showed up three days later. Upon arriving the employee turned the entire unit off destroying $300 in groceries and leaving my $1000 worth of insulin sitting in a non refrigerated box. The hotel did give us a $300 credit to our bill after a month of asking about it with several employees and finally calling IHG guest phone line. They decided we not only needed a new fridge at this time but a new microwave and dish washer which did nothing but cause large amounts of inconvenience and more messes for me to clean up. The employees WALKED all over my kitchen counters leaving boot prints and left saw dust from drilling. I was left to clean this myself. ( pictures added) They also left the heavy microwave hanging by one screw for over an hour while they were out of the room. Leaving my 6 year old son and I in the room with the barley hanging lawsuit . The dishwasher was the worst. The guy who installing it was clueless and installed it incorrectly not once, not twice, but three times. The first time he left all the packing material in it and started the washer. Left that mess for me to clean up and throw out. It also leaked , flooding our room every time we used it. We called the first three times and gave up on their competency after that. The housekeeping staff were useless. They spent most of their time on their cell phones or in the office next to our room where they were disrespectfully loud on the daily. We asked them twice if we could have a few fresh towels and we’re told they couldn’t speak English sorry, and had backs turned on us. Also the hotel staff took all the front spots leaving the paying guests to walk. Our encounter with the management was not dealt with professionally and we actually received a complaining phone call from her because we called IHG. The amount of dog urine in the ONLY elevator was disgusting and smelled great on those nice hot days. Speaking of hot days our ac was unable to keep up and hit 90’ in our room more than once. Probably due to lack of maintenance on their machine. Take a peek at the rooms air filter.( picture added ) The list of inconveniences we experienced while here are absolutely staggering and would be comical if I listed them all. Despite being the highest rated IHG rewards member you can achieve , we are taking a break from IHG after this stay. I am currently sitting in a Marriott as I type this.

Debbie was great at check in. Super friendly and tried to accommodate us with our dog as best to her ability. We get to our room and it seemed clean but very out dated. After sitting on the couch for 30 min. We began to itch all over and so we just got up and went to bed. We only stayed for one night. The hotel is in a ran down neighborhood so be careful with valuables in your car.

Outstanding experience here. Spotlessly clean linens and room. Smelled good. Laundry machines efficient and available. Easy to plug in electronics. Great WiFi. Dark shades on windows. Helpful staff. Shockingly clean breakfast space, nicely cooked food. We've been on the road for weeks and this was my favorite lodging.

I was going to give this place more like two stars for how many inconsistencies they had with their amenities and the datedness of some parts of the hotel, plus the fact that despite us booking ahead and arriving fairly early in the day our room was apparently unavailable due to a maintenance issue and they had to swap us to a lesser room without compensation other than some points. But honestly the staff deserves more than that and made the stay for us. So I would bump into three to three and a half stars. The problem definitely comes in the fact that they list amenities they don't have on multiple sites that book rooms here. I browsed a couple while deciding which hotel to pick and this one always showed up with the airport shuttle amenity. Apparently if you go to their site it does not, but that doesn't change the fact of how they are listed on many sites. Plus even reviews talk about the shuttle albeit about a year ago, so apparently that was something they used to have but they haven't updated it. Which is a big problem when you book expecting to be able to have a shuttle and they have absolutely no shuttle service of any kind. They also largely advertise their evening snack selection, which they do have, but apparently is only Monday through Wednesday. This is less of a problem, but outside of their website you couldn't find this information. And again it is advertised on all the other sites that help sell rooms here. It is some of the prominent photos on Google. It wouldn't have been an issue if not for the The big rub also comes from the fact that despite booking a couple weeks in advance, when we arrived at a little after 5:00 they said that our room was unavailable. The toilet had broke in our room to be and apparently all they could do was give us a double bed room instead of the King suite. They offered to either give us some IHG membership points or that we could go stay at the branch by the airport (which still did have an active airport shuttle btw). But since we literally just paid $30 to take an Uber UP to the hotel since there was no shuttle service, and we planned to be up here anyway for the balloon festival that we were meeting people the next day, of which would would take another Uber ride... That definitely was a no-go. Beyond that the rooms are actually lovely and large as I would expect from any of the hotels in this line. However, that doesn't change the fact that they are still a bit outdated for everything. The paint was chipping in places at corners and the toilet was rocking and not properly sealed. (Probably almost losing us another room if this one had broke too) The staff though was really amazing and help accommodate us in every way they possibly could in the very courteous way. In the morning they helped with our bags and even stored them for a couple hours so we could not drag them around in the time frame we had before we left. Honestly if it wasn't for them and the space of the room (though it's arguable that should be a given for the chain) this place would get a one star. Overall I expected more for my IHG chain.

The room is clean, very comfortable, and the staffs (Laura, Jovenna and a few more) are amazing, room service is provided when needed as well. Front desk staffs (Francis, Nancy and the others) are extremely efficient, pleasant, responsible and helpful. The technicians over here are polite and they fix the gym equipment at the time when I told them I cant turn the treadmill on, really appreciate that. Breakfast is provided every morning (special thanks to Veronica), dinner are also prepared on every Mon-Wed, the food (mains, sides, bread, dessert, drinks, fruits) all are delicious!!! All of them go over and beyond to help make my stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone!!!

EVERYTHING WAS STOLEN! I am an IHG Diamond member. The front desk hostess Elyssa, said that it was safe to park my Yukon XL and twin axle trailer in the back. She said security parked in the lot across the street and watched over the hotel and it's 2 and only entrances. About 3 hours later, the front desk wakes me up and tells me that my truck and trailer was stolen. I'm a travel nurse and was moving to Albuquerque. Now everything I had, is gone!

Update on July 3rd - The manager fixed the process today. Good to see that they have taken the feedback and responded with follow up action. This is a great example of how service recovery works. Great Job! Issue reported on July 1st - There is no cart for taking the luggages to the room. They just blame it on unruly customers that they have this issue for a long time but they don’t want to resolve. Just two customers check in before us and one had the cart. So it would have taken the front desk to call and ask who has it and return it ASAP. But they just said they don’t operate that way. Worst experience ever in IHG.

Everything about this hotel from the moment you walk in is amazing. The employees are super friendly and the hotel was clean. The rooms met my expectations and were great to be in. I especially enjoyed the breakfast that was complimentary to the guests staying there.

The 3 attendants in the front were a young lady who was very helpful, respectful, and sweet. Helped me get something for my tummy. The other two were men one of them a bigger taller gentlemen who was also really helpful and respectful. He was very nice on both days I was there I saw him talking with other customers and making his way around the building being friendly and helpful. I also saw another man that looked to maybe be the manager again seemed to be helpful and busy about helping guests. Overall everyone was great! Very nice rooms, beautiful outdoor sitting area and fireplace, and a nice grilling area. I was there for a convention and. Really enjoyed the space.

Very happy with my choice to stay here. Staff is great, breakfast was awesome, very clean place and Monday to Thursday in the afternoon they have something to eat too (fruit, crackers, cheese, dip, etc). Location was very convenient for me since I needed to go to Rio Rancho, Santa Fe, and east Albuquerque. For sure we'll come back to stay here.

I had to book last minute and the lady that helped me when I called was amazing. Really some top notch customer service. The room is great for extended stay. Kitchen has everything you need. Breakfast served in the lobby had a great variety, with added New Mexico flare. The only negative is the walls are thin and you can hear the people above you. In addition, someone cooked fish and the whole always smelled. Otherwise, I would recommend and stay here again.

Can't say enough about this place!! The rooms(suites) are amazing! So big and luxurious. The front desk staff were so kind, friendly and helpful. You simply will not believe all the things this place has to offer.

Staff was great. Room, had a few things I did not like. Fan in bathroom squeaked when running. Tub floor was not in good condition had a mat covering it. Had a luke warm shower in the morning. Hopefully it was just the room they gave me and not all are like this one (room 300). I got a state government discount so they may stick us in the sub or rooms maybe. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Breakfast and room were decent, there’s a nice courtyard in the back, and the location is pretty quiet and close to lots of food and store options. However, the water in my bathroom never got past lukewarm even though the kitchen sink would get hot… and the exercise room is kind of a bust. The three machines are all on the same power strip and even with nobody else in the room, 5 minutes on the treadmill caused the power strip to kick off. This happened twice and both times I nearly hyperextended my knee because of the abrupt stop of the machine. The free weight options were also either 5 pounds or 30+ pounds… not super helpful. The pool was also constantly crammed with screaming kids, which wasn’t always the nicest background noise when trying to work in my room or be on meeting calls. Also meant I never had a chance to just go sit in the hot tub. Adult-only hours for the pool/hot tub would be a great management change! Overall, probably wouldn’t stay here again, personally.

Very nice hotel for price. The front staff young man was very professional, nice and well dressed. The room were great. The shower might need some work..i.e shower head and tub floor but overall the room was comfortable and roomy for myself wife and 3 children..one thing that can improve are the luggage caddies..

Friendly staff. Nice rooms and hotel. Excellent value for our money. I would stay here again and recommend it to others. The only thing to add is that the room that "sleeps 6" really only sleeps 5 - or sleeps 4 plus 2 kids. We were able to make due though.
