There was a 75 dollar pet fee. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The food was ok. Just not a fan of that ranch dressing recipe. The AC has mold under it. After totaling our bill I feel I would not stay there again in all honesty.

I seemed like an unwanted distraction, front desk was short and curt. I went to look at the diner menu at the restaurant, an employee came over and said "we're not open yet" in a very rude manner, so I put the menu down and of course ate elsewhere. The ice machine on my floor did not work, and there were bugs in my room. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was not included, which is fine, but for the price, I will find another hotel next time.

One of the best hotels in the area. Quite rooms. My views (Room 315) was completely obstructed but the tree but it didn’t bother me. Convenient location for my business trip to Intel (right across the road). Great complimentary coffee/tea in room and lobby. I feel like the nightly price should include the breakfast.

Sat, Oct. 7, 2023 Stayed for 3 nights. Open kitchen available for dining. Rooms are clean, we got fresh towels everyday. Staff and room services is amazing. Hotel is across the street from Intel, we walked and took the shuttle to the Air balloon festival. Close to restaurants and stores also 1 hour from Santa Fe for day trip. We had a room that was by the highway so nights were not always quiet. Room had TV, microwave, keurig, mini refrigerator. Had a great stay.

This is a great hotel in a wonderful neighborhood. The decor for Christmas is very nice and homey but not overly so. The hot chocolate bar was something extra that I haven’t seen before. I ate four of those cookies!

For being a Diamond member, they sure don't know how to take care of you. I was told upon check in that I would receive breakfast for my and my husband. We were there for our wedding so we had a lot of family also staying there. When we went for breakfast, they said I didn't chose that so we would have to pay full price. I told the lady that when we checked in we were told we received breakfast or a credit to use for snacks. I had to call Hilton customer service and they called front desk at Rio Rancho. Lady said they lady that checked us in was new and we have to pay full price. Didn't even try to accommodate us at all. So disappointing.

We checked in August 4th. The initial front staff was not the most pleasant (sorry it irked you we couldn’t find our rewards account number) but other than that the room was clean, the shower had good water pressure and the rest of the staff was pretty friendly. Breakfast is not free you either pay extra for it at the time of booking or they charge you at the time of receiving it. It’s a good location though so there are plenty of restaurants around that serve breakfast. I recommend booking online as calls are outsourced, it was hard to understand the attendant and it was not an option we had to sign up for the rewards. Which we were then not able to use for the discounted rate because the front desk couldn’t find us in their system and was very rude when we tried offering the number we received in the email.

Great stay. Clean rooms. Attentive staff. We didn't have breakfast there, because the place is surrounded by good coffee and breakfast spots. Check in was kinda cumbersome because they have no entrance parking at all. You have to park a little ways from the entrance, and only having one elevator tends to force everyone to park in the limited spaces close to the entrance.

From out of state I stayed here on a business trip. My job booked the hotel and was I was told to show my work ID upon arrival to get the government discount rate. They didn’t take it and I had to pay out of pocket that weekend. The front lady who was checking us in let us know that they can choose who can receive the discount or not upon arrival. It would have been nice to know that information before booking on who qualifies from out of state. Nice hotel. But too much for a non complementary breakfast place.

I wouldn't stay here again. I felt the check in staff was condescending at best. WiFi is only "free" if you agree to sign up for something with Hilton. The beds are very firm, another guest may love that though. Literally nothing is complimentary. The room was expertly cleaned, but the shower was too narrow. I'm not a big guy, but my shoulders shouldn't touch both wall and door. I'd rather pay less, and get the same, than pay for a Hilton hotel and get next to nothing.

Staff seemed very nice. Especially, Drew whom I felt went above and beyond. I feel his service even exceeded the "Manager's". Which is confusing, as I believe he is just front desk Rooms are not properly cleaned. 1st room there was a soda in the fridge. Coffee bar was not clean, there was even a "short curly hair" on the counter🤢. Dark stain in the corner of shower. Second, smelt musky. Dirty coffee bar with coffee stains and stuck on food.Shower not properly cleaned. Third room bathroom had a "grassy" smell(mold?) In the bathroom. Seed like it was coming from the dirty drain bypass or maybe the dirty bathroom vent. Toilet was stained. Maria blamed this on harsh water in the area. A wire brush or steel wool would prob do. The play pen was heavily stained. Would use. Fridge cabinet door was off hinge, as well. The traffic noise was moderately loud. The manager Maria didn't seem interested in making the situation wholly right. This property should not have Hilton designation. I don't not recommend this property, as it doesn't meet standards and is misleading that it carries the Hilton name.

I stayed for five nights at this hotel during the end of August 2023. The rooms were clean, and the breakfast was satisfactory. However, I encountered a significant issue after my stay. The hotel used my credit card details to charge me an extra amount of over $950. When I brought this to the attention of the cashier, she provided me with email addresses of two managers. Unfortunately, none of them replied to my emails. I decided to open a complaint on the Hilton website. Their reply promised to respond within three days, but it has now been more than two weeks, and I am still waiting for their response. In the meantime, I have contacted my credit card company to help resolve this matter, and I am hoping that I won't need to involve a lawyer.

Wonderful, everything the other reviews say is true. Delightful staff, quiet, clean rooms. Cozy and great. My recommendation is breakfast at Village Inn, coffee at Pinion Coffee. Your going to pay $13+ for breakfast here anyway so go up the road. Great place.

$15 for breakfast is insane when most hotels have free breakfast. Pool isn't heated and no hot tub. Tv has maybe 15 channels. Clean, and decent location but feels like you're being nickel and dimed.

I didn't plan on staying here. I'm a lifetime silver Marriott rewards member, however the Marriott were further into town. Paul got me checked in fast and even followed up to make sure I was comfortable with our room. Def will stay here again when I come to town and will be looking at Hilton more often. Thank you Paul.

Booked a hotel room for a driver in my company through an app called navan. We have the option to pre pay. Booked hundreds of hotels with no incident. But this hotel tried to charge my drivers card the entire amount after already being paid and then wanted me to send a cc authorization to them. We are not paying twice and if your desk ladies can't figure out what over 100 hotels have figured out. Don't put your rooms on booking sites. Would definitely watch your cc charges when staying at this hotel if you do.

I’ve been a Hilton Honors Diamond member for nearly 10 years and I’ve never experienced an over charge without resolution like I did at this hotel. The property manager acknowledged there was a disconnect between Hilton booking and their property but refused to honor the correct rate. She claimed the rate was due to the Balloon Fiesta (which had concluded the week before), and acknowledged that the rate was not reflected accurately. Will never stay at this one again. I encourage anyone doing so to take a picture of the quoted rate before checking in.

A good, typical Hilton hotel with clean rooms and very good service. People are over the top friendly. Breakfast is a bit expensive $15 a person, at least for my feeling. The one disadvantage I find is a room with a tub and a showerhead. Ergo, you have to climb into a bathtub to take a shower.

I work SMB sales and have walked into thousands of businesses. The first thing I notice is the smell and then cleanliness. The Hilton in Rio Ranch receives an A+. In addition the staff is very friendly and helpful. Hot food is available between 6 am and 9 am and also in the evenings beginning at 6 pm. I'll be back.

1st incident- There was a slight issue, checking in as I had thought I had paid for the room when it was booked. Check in clerk became visibly a little heated when explaining I had not. It was a quick interaction & I used my credit card. It was a misunderstanding but was resolved. 2nd incident- me & my husband were inquiring about the breakfast when the breakfast host informed us. " There is a charge for breakfast" and spoke to us as if we were beneath her & she couldnt be bothered by us. We asked her what are the prices and she angrily let us know we could look at the menu and pointed to where they were stacked on the table. She was unfriendly and at that time we just decided we did want any interaction with her since she was ruining our good mood and left.

Clean as a whistle and nice staff. Very comfortable bed and good gym. Shower wasn’t hot, water empty at gym, no fans in bathroom, otherwise wonderful stay.

Staff is inattentive unless your another staff member . Went to breakfast area no one in attendance, few choices and even less portions left on hot food, served plate anyway. Attendant showed up halfway through to only state breakfast is not free, pointed to sign on wall saying $12.98, charged $15.04 on statement. You all need some Hospitality Lessons.

Right on a busy street. Get a room on the backside to avoid road noise. The breakfast buffet was not included in my stay but available. Also have a small menu to order breakfast, easy parking. I'd would stay again if needed but might look for another place not so close to a road. Enjoy!

Came in from out of town for Easter Mass. Kim from Hilton Garden in Rio Rancho would not honor Government Rate with letter I provided. She said letter was out of date. (2018) Letter is good through 10/2023. She wanted to see my badge, like she didn't believe I was an employee. Felt downgraded and judged. Room fridge didn't work and was not as comfy as last Hilton on stayed in. Pillows horrible and breakfast was cold. Room was clean.

I'm being 100% honest, they cancelled my pre-paid reservation without notifying me. After a long two days of travel, I'd skip this one!! What a horrible experience to add on to long travel days. I'm still furious !! I'm not staying at a garden again

This is the WORST Hilton Garden to get into. both Google and Waze could only get you to the front of the hotel…with a divided six lane median between you and the hotel. There is NO access from the main 528 highway into the hotel parking lot. I guessed and turned into the street down from the front of the hotel. Yep, NO signage to aid in getting to the front entrance on the back alleyway. Horrible!

Clean, comfortable, and quiet room. The front desk staff really went above and beyond to make our stay smooth and restful. When we extended our stay, they made sure that our room key wouldn't expire, as just one example. Very thoughtful, helpful, answered all our questions, and checked in via text to make sure we had everything we needed. Outstanding and very much appreciated, as my girlfriend's mother had just passed, and we were overwhelmed.

Nice, reasonably quiet. Excellent coffee!! Rooms (bathroom in particular) shows some light to moderate wear. They only do housekeeping on request which is t my preference. Public spaces (Lobby, coffee bar, gym etc) very clean. Staff very friendly and accommodating. I would stay here again without hesitation

The stays are usually good. One of our managers stayed and left the same night. He reported Bed bugs to us as the reason for relocating to a different hotel.

First, online it said free breakfast.. breakfast was STARTING AT $11.00 WHAT? It also said there was a hot tub, mini bar, there wasn’t. Employees were extremely rude and I will never be going back to a Hilton ever again, this was the worst experience of my life. I paid $202 while my paper check said $175 and my online quote for 2 nights was $150 but when I got there they said I only booked for one night when I definitely booked two, literally the worst experience with a hotel I’ve ever had and I paid so much money for the ghettoest place ever, I am so upset. DO NOT EVER GO HERE!

We did our overnight stay however there were a few things that I didn’t like. The water temperature gauge in the shower is weird, the bathtub is slippery, and the bed frame was a bit squeaky. The Hotel staff we encountered was pleasant and I will still stay here again when the time comes.

The rooms were dirty. They had no breakfast as advertised. They charged incidentals to anyone who stayed during a high school wrestling meet. The charges were bogus and staff refused to speak to me when I attempted to contact them to ask for more information. I would never ever recommend staying here to anyone. The elevator feels like it’s on its last leg the rooms smell like wet dog. If you are in Rio Rancho just keep driving past this motel. Owner says they sorry but nothing done I’ve left messages for general manager and on the site he told me to. I see that your comments are just lip service and looks nice on this site. STAY AWAY from this motel it’s not worth the lack of care from owner or their staff. Thanks for the quick response keep posting replies on this site and doing zero to contact people.

We found the staff super helpful and friendly. Room was top notch, well organized and mostly quiet despite the high occupancy. (Would like to see real ice buckets, next time.) Came in for the Balloon Fiesta; in the face of a crazy busy couple of days, everyone kept smiling. Overall a well maintained facility, clean and well ordered. Nicely done.

Very clean noise is a problem if working nights insist on end of the floor what was loud was housekeeping next day it didn’t last long but I was woken up and only got 4 hours of sleep. Room was spacious I got the king mobility room it was the only available at the time. Loved the room had electrical shades with remote. Fridge was turned off upon arrival and I’m not sure how long it took to cool after turned on and I didn’t trust the food in there the next day.

The front desk staff was very welcoming. And, the green chilli omelette for breakfast made to serve was excellent. A taste of New Mexico! Convenient location, right across the street from Intel.

Clean room and quiet hotel, but if you're an Elite Member, know that the front desk will offer you NOTHING for your Elite status, and when pressed, when asked directly, "What benefits do I receive as a Gold member?", be prepared for the front desk person to offer you water (buy only because you asked for it.) I specifically asked "that's it? Nothing but water?" and was told yes. I later looked in the app and saw that I was entitled to a $10 daily food & beverage credit for being a Gold member. The woman who checked me in couldn't be bothered to actually check my benefits - just said "all you get is water". Hilton, you can do better. Either train your people better or hire people who aren't so lazy. I don't know if this is a new cost-cutting tactic, e.g. "Don't offer guests anything when they check in, regardless of their Elite status, because it will save us money.", but it sure devalued the experience of staying there. And then what's the point of striving to maintain my status or strive for Diamond if you're not actually offering benefits anymore? And if you're not, please update the info in your app, which specifically lays out what elite members will receive. And warn guest that those benefits do not apply at the Hilton Garden Inn Rio Rancho.

Nice facility. Although I signed up to become a NEW Hilton's reward member an booked a 2night stay, it was not brought to my attention that the breakfast was not included in my rate although it wouldn't have been a big deal to pay the extra for the rate that included the breakfast, upon arrival as I signed in and got my key(s) to my room proceed to my soom. But they had already checked someone in that room which was on the 3rd floor so they assigned me an my family of 5 to another room which was good but now it's on the 7th floor. Like said in the beginning the facility was nice but my first time experience not so much. So I cut my time short an took my business else where.

Clean and well maintained. Clean is most important aspect to me. Front desk was professional and always attentive. Room did not have creamer pods or splenda but not such a big deal. Definitely deserves five stars.

We choose Hilton garden locations when traveling long days in the car for the convenience of the bar/restaurant. The bar/restaurant was closed and not mentioned on web site. At least add this to your website so travelers are aware before checking in.
