There was no toilet paper they change me room and in the other one the A/C wasn’t working 😂 also the office were bothering me like at 5 AM by calling at my room the worst experience at hotels like this one. They are just looking for the minimum thing that is wrong in their horribles rooms to not give the cash deposit back.

Still awaiting my refund. The reservation price was 120 so I expected it to be somewhat decent, was I in for a surprise. Upon arrival the lobby was locked and had a make shift note on the door instructing to call a number to check in. After waiting for an attendant and getting the room key the door to my room was wide open. I told the attendant and she responded "is everything in the room okay?, You should be fine". The room looked like it had not been touched with a cleaning agent in years. There was spilled drink on the night stand debris on the floor and foul odor coming from the air conditioner. If things couldn't get worse I had stepped out of the room and forgot the only room key I was given. I waited in my car in the parking lot and was harassed by the amazing street roamers due to the fact that the attendant decided to not work. I called Windham and they couldn't get ahold of anyone from the property and told me there was nothing they could do since there should be an attendant there and told me I'd have to pay for another room if I wanted to move my reservation to another property. So if you ever get a migraine while driving and have to get a hotel for the night I'd recommend the parking lot it's clean. This is a very sad excuse for a hotel you'd probably find better living conditions at joy junction. It's unfortunate that I only took a few photos since I was locked out the entire time.

Great spot for randomly picking a spot to just stay the night. In fact, the people that worked here were so nice that my fiance and I decided to stay another night. The staff made us feel welcomed and safe. Beds are comfy!

Well it was kind of rundown and had a couple bugs in the room, that I saw. The walls had a lot of patches and needs to be painted b4 you rent it out. The front desk office area was a mess with boxes stacked everywhere like they had no other place to put them. A big trash can overflowing with trash just outside my room. A lot of activity late at night with some noise. I'm pretty sure I will not stay there again. It's in a depressed area. I wondered if my car would be there in the morning. $95 for a room is way over priced for what they have even though $95 is a going rate. The only positive thing was that it's located on historic Route 66. Sorry, I don't normally say bad things about a place but they need to fix up this location. That much they could do. I will not be back.

Booked a room but thought better of it on arrival. Things looked pretty sketchy when I pulled up at 8 pm, no staff on hand (lobby was locked). 2 stars because I didn't actually stay..? Maybe it would have been better than my first impression?

Blood and other body fluids on this couch that should be burned so dirty and ripped up. Room smelting like someone burning stuff or drugs pipe found on couch. Would not let my dog sleep on couch so sick and gross. Room window facing back alley did not lock had stick to hold closed had homeless people trying to open window at night thank God I had my dogs to notify that someone was trying to open window. Wyndham NEEDS TO PULL IT FROM THEIR HOTELS BEFORE A CUSTOMER GETS KILLED OR HURT FROM THE PEOPLE THEY ALLOW.....PEOPLE PAYING CASH FOR ROOMS TELLS ME THIS HOTEL WILL TAKE WHAT IT CAN GET TO JUST STAY OPEN. Wyndham would be better to close this place NOT SAFE FOR FAMILY OR PETS OR SELF... STAY AWAY FOR YOUR OWN SAFTY..1Star is too much for this place

The good: the staff were very friendly and happy to answer questions. Tom, the nighttime security guard, is a terrific guy. I felt considerably safer with him around. He also was up with coffee for me when I left at 4 am to catch my flight. To counter other reviews, I had no cockroaches, my AC worked great, and the blinds worked. The bad: the pictures don't reflect the rooms. It's what you would expect for a motel, but you wouldn't have that impression from the advertising, which makes it look far better than it is - paint chips, partially completed drywall repairs, and noticeably unclean rooms and linens (markings on one bed). I am no stranger to motels on a road trip, but felt I paid too much given the quality of the motel. I wouldn't feel great about swimming in the outdoor pool, either. The neighborhood isn't very safe, and I felt uncomfortable walking around after dark (as a large-framed younger man). That's not the fault of the motel, but good to know, I think.

Checked in after a long day on the road driving route 66 on vacation for our honeymoon. Had this place booked for us for two nights by a third party travel agent so hadn't seen reviews. It is as bad or worse than described. Arrived in the dark to homeless people and other unfortunate souls loitering around. Our first room the flush didn't function on the toilet, so they moved us straight away which was about the only positive thing I can say about this place. Almost completely sleepless night in a very hot room. Noises from guests / vagrants coming and going throughout the night. Room cleanliness very poor, actual fecal matter on the bathroom wall / ceiling. Feared for our safety as out of town tourists all night. Cut stay here short and found alternative accommodation. One to avoid!

As the reviews have said, it is in a somewhat sketchy location but I suppose it comes with the territory! Regardless of location, the room was clean, the staff was helpful, and we needed it just to sleep in for our stay and it provided just that! The breakfast was grab-n-go but overall it was worth the price since it was so close to our concert venue and everything else downtown.

I wish I could give a lower rate than 1 star. Despite of the friendly welcome from the manager, I never felt safe during my stay. The hotel and its surroundings are very sketchy. The door latch was broken, I could only lock it on the knob. The room and the beds appeared to be clean but both beds stunk like hundreds of people who don’t take showers regularly have slept there, and I’m trying to be nice and not sound like a Karen here. The night stand had weird stains on it, the bathroom smelled like a dirty ashtray, you could hear every single thing your neighbors were doing in the room and, on top of that, at 3am, I woke up to someone banging at my door non stop. After I yelled at the person they started banging at some other doors and only stopped when I yelled I was gonna call the police. I wonder if there’s a budget friendly hotel in Albuquerque that won’t make you feel like you’re gonna wake up in a tub full of ice with a missing kidney or something like that. This is the worst place in the world

If you're wanting a quiet place, this isn't it. Yelling and running kids till almost midnight, normal city noise, as well as a few rooms seeming to be the local hangout. The rooms are surprisingly updated with typical old building issues like paint chips in ceiling, old tiles, but the blankets have burn holes, toilet paper holder was broken off wall, and the front desk clerk gave me an unclean room the first time (after taking almost 20 minutes to find reservation). I've now called about 6 times to try to get a receipt, and have been having my call 'forwarded to voicemail' each time now. It would seem the front desk isn't staffed until later in the day, if that's possible. If you're looking for quick and helpful issue resolution or a good night's rest, this isn't the place.

The floors of our room# 109 we absolutely disgusting. If you walked barefoot your feet were totally black and sticky after a few minutes. My 2 year old daughter was sick immediately after staying there. Probably some bacterial infection from the lack of cleanliness. On the flip side, the woman working the front desk at night was very nice and helpful.

Absolute $H!THOLE! not safe if you are traveling with family.. room modifications are horrible especially the restroom wall and window work.. shady individuals checking doors throughout the night. Also awaken by a full on physical domestic alteration that went on for an easy hour and no police showed up. This was our last straw to cancel our reservation after seeing drug use in the parking lot and shady individuals playing crazy loud music in parking lot.. I already made a full on complaint to wyndham properties. I rarely post reviews but if I had known this property was like this I would have never booked it or I would have brought some protection along if this was the only place in the area that had a vacancy. This was room #106... if you getnthis room. Look at the restroom remodel and patch work. Also we didn't have hot water.. guy at the front desk was polite and reset the water heaters. But after 20min...still no hot water.✌🏾✌🏾

6/13/2023 I come to this location if I know I’m going across the street to Holy Cow Burger or Frontier Restaurant. If I don’t come here, then I go to another hotel on the north side of town so I can go to Bubba’s33. I noticed that the parking lot has been resurfaced and they put some paint on the building. I wish the owners would just go ahead and really put some money and color in and out of this building. Furniture and all and bite the bullet by keeping the prices the same. The reward will be word of mouth as the competition being rebuilt across the street is going to ding this place. It’s either that or turn this place into one of those places that house people, and the government pays the bill. The property is only interested in making a profit, and it doesn’t matter how the income stream is generated. If it’s going to continue as a hotel, then things do have to improve. I’m currently lying on a comforter that has holes in it, and so does the curtain shade. That’s not a good visual, BUT depending on the needs of the client l, it’s not a big deal. Hot water and clean bedding are the most important things. The lady who helped me was really nice.

I had such a great experience with my family. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was well done, checking in and out was a breeze, and the entire hotel and room were very clean. Thank you so much for having us and I would definitely come back again!

It's a hotel in downtown Albuquerque, I was willing to just stay anywhere that wasn't the war zone. The location is ok, you'd still wanna lock up ur car. I was pushing my luck bringing a moving van there. The night clerk was a guy with tattoos who assured me and my husband that he kept the spot safe and ran off anyone who wasn't supposed to be there, so he really gave me peace of mind. Didn't catch his name, but he's cool. There was a roach in the room but that's my only true complaint.

I would recommend this hotel to everyone. The staff were nice and welcoming. The rooms were clean and the area is super safe. The location was perfect. I enjoyed my stay here over the weekend. I’ll be back.

Just a horrible Days Inn. Shouldn’t even be allowed to be in the Wyndham group. Rooms were disgusting. Unpainted plaster patches everywhere, sheet covering worn love seat, dresser drawers would not stay closed and light breakfast was a joke - no coffee or juice, bruised apples and, if lucky, a granola bar or yogurt. Homeless people or employees and dog blocking staircase and seeking handouts. Contacted management and they denied all complaints. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT STAY HERE. Really too bad as the location was decent. Shame on the management.

It was run down. You can see that they're trying to upkeep it but its just a face lift. I wouldn't stay again for $91 a room. There was mold in the bathroom, holes in the plaster, the air conditioning didn't work. Definitely not a place I would recommend again.

I thought this was a great value compared to other places in town. Clean room, pool and hot tub, breakfast with eggs and safe parking . I've stayed in a Rt 66 motel before on my last road trip, and paid about 115/rm. And it was great. But with my two buddies on this road trip we opted for something a few dollars less. Days Inn was great.

Walls are so thin you can hear everything from every other room, including the people that had their TV on till 5am. There were holes in the walls, toilet seat was broken, no remote for the TV so I had to ask for one. Just say I wouldn't stop here again

I was stranded without lodging due to Expedia changing my booking days. That is the 2nd time this month they change my dates. I thought i was loosing my mind, but come to find out this is normal practice for them. Due to spring break there were NO rooms in Albuquerque. I was standing in days inn when a rather rude customer called and the attendant told her she couldn't stay there and then allowed me the room. It wasn't a great part of town but the bed was nice and the service was wonderful!

Everything is disgusting and looks like they’ve been letting animals live here. The room had the strongest aroma of cigarettes and dirty stained covers, requested a room change and I’ve been waiting for over an hour. The room I received isn’t even clean, the wall as have yellow nicotine residue from previous smokers. I would give 0 starts it is disgusting and the customer service is not good at all.

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. However, the walls are thin and lots of noise from outside from other patrons and traffic. The breakfast consisted of granola bars and yogurt.

I first chose the property because of it's key location. It was right where I needed to be; visiting a friend at UNM and was going to be headed to Downtown for a meeting the next day. I was surprised to find the beds were very comfortable, service was on point and it was clean!! I would say it's a hidden gem! The staff is friendly and welcoming which is important to me as well. I will definitely be back again when visiting Albuquerque!

We were in a car accident and had to get a room asap. As we get in the room, I'm sitting in the roller car and smell urine. As I investigate, I realize it's coming from the car. We pushed it out the door to inform staff and pretty sure we got the same car back because it still stank; so it sat right outside our room for our whole stay. Everything else was decent for the hotel/location. The hotel is a bit ran down but it gets the job done if you're on a budget. The location is right next to a bus stop and in the middle of downtown so you're walking distance from stores, restaurants and dispensaries. Just don't walk around after sun down.

The staff was extremely nice, willing to serve and friendly. The room was very clean and everything was comfortable. Excelllent value for what you are getting. There were some homeless people near the hotel but they didn't bother me. This hotel is not in the main downtown area but is pretty close. I forgot my toothbrush and they gave me one. Overall great experience.

Wyndham is our go to hotel but this days is was a reach. Not saying anything bad about the hotel it was pretty nice. Just the traffic getting in and out can be a pain. And we had these young kids next door loud the other night. It really didn't bother me because I remember those days of hanging out and what not. But my wife didn't like it too much. The staff was nice and courteous. My only bad thing to say was the traffic but everything else was nice. The rooms renovations were very nice made it very spacious.

Rooms were very clean and they are working through a remodel. Staff was very kind, great and helpful. Walking distance to a variety of restaurants. Close to downtown Albuquerque so its loud at night. I would highly recommend this hotel for your next stay!!
