Ordered a medium cup of lemon gelato, it was tart and light, very refreshing. Store was clean and staff were enthusiastic, will be coming back to try more flavors!

Low fat, big scoops, fun store - what more could you ask for? My kids always choose Frost as their reward treat and we are happy to take them. So many fun and tasty flavors that rotate. Come in and check them out, especially when it’s hot outside.

Very tasty gelato. Prices were what I was expecting and gelato was nice and creamy. I’ve tried a few ice cream places in ABQ and I kept getting freezer burnt ice cream, so I am excited to add this to my rotation for fresh gelato with great flavors. I tried the salted caramel and dark chocolate gelato as samples. They currently only allow 2 samples which I thought was weird because of all the flavors they had. There were at least 3 different chocolate flavors and 2 different caramel flavors and some of the gelato has texture to it which I like to try before getting because generally I don’t want to eat my gelato. I ended up getting the Alpen caramel hoping the lady described it well enough that it is “not as sweet as the salted caramel”. I didn’t want something as sweet as the salted caramel and it worked out. She said they only allow “2 samples at this time” so I can’t wait for the time where they allow more samples, even if there is still a limit, I think 2 is too limited especially for what they are offering. My husband got a mango champagne sorbet, which had soft pieces of mango in it. He also tried the raspberry which had bits of seeds in it which was not a nice texture for him. The staff wore gloves and for me it makes it more apparent when they either don’t switch gloves or wash their hands when they should. Ie if you cough near your wrist or hand, wash your hands and switch the gloves. I’d rather wait for someone to wash their hands than watch someone try to shrug it off.

Excellent choice to satisfy a sweet tooth. Wide variety of flavors and with being able to sample you can find the right choice. The small size gives you one flavor choice, the medium you can choose two flavors, and the large lets you choose up to three flavors. I had a small Toasted Marshmallow (left) and the Crema Di Biscotti aka Oreo (right), then finished with two chocolate truffles. Very clean, friendly and helpful staff, definitely recommend.

This place usually has good gelato. My only complaint is that they don't have their current hours updated on their Google site. They closed 30 minutes prior to the closing time on Google. Please update your Google hours to reflect these changes. Myself and at least three other parties were not able to purchase gelato because they closed early but did not update their Google hours. A printed sign on your door isn't enough. It is the 21st century. It is not hard at all to update your store hours on Google. Thank you.

Yummmm , they have lots of less common flavors and choices here. You should absolutely add this place to your itinerary if you’re an iced cream lover.

Had really colorful signs and drinks that well framed. But the place has very little sitting, and the place needs to be cleaned near the sound bar. The price is normal for a Boba shop downtown. Just know what you're paying for coming in.

The ice cream was pretty good… I wish I could have had a small portion with two flavors though. The medium is just too much ice cream and I never finish it (not true).

Amazing, delicious, super fun flavor options. I got marshmallow and lavender! Can't wait to return!

So fun! They have great flavors and even some boozy ones for the adults. The place is nice and super clean. The staff 8s kind and attentive. I will be back as soon as I am in town again!

Who would think that something so delicious could be "low calory"? You have tons of options here - from bubblegum flavor to pumpkin spice to dark DARK chocolate. This is the type of place you want to go back to in order to try every flavor. Something that stood out to me is that each of the gelato flavors has a "mix in" already in it. The dark chocolate has chocolate pieces, the marshmallow flavor has whole marshmallows, etc. I'll be back once things start to warm up a bit more 🥶 Please note: My reviews get updated based on experience 🙂

Frost Gelato was really good. Great selection and the display is beautiful. We came in about 10/15 minutes before closed so the staff wasn’t the most excited to see us. Would have gotten early but it takes a minute to find the place. Look at a map first to make sure you know where it is located and best place to park.

I have a constantly violent craving for gelato and this place has been the only one to satisfy it in my years of hunting. Lots of options, good quality, a little pricy but worth it. Being located in Uptown’s outdoor shopping area makes it very aesthetic to just sit outside and have a little “city girlie” moment.

We visit this place every time we're in town! Their gelato in some of the best I've had in and out of Italy. They rotate flavors constantly, and we must have tried them all by this point. Can't recommend them enough!

Truly the best Gelato in Albuquerque. We drive 30 minutes to get it. Lots of flavors and always great. The only place we go in New Mexico for Gelato

Frost Gelato has been my fave since it opened its doors many years ago. I had a mother-daughter ice-cream date last night and it was, as always, aaahhmazing! I never tried the cherry Gelato so I tried that and my daughter has a 2-scoop waffle cone with almond Gelato and dark chocolate! Both scoops were full of flava-flav. I'm still broken hearted 💔 that the NOB HILL location closed because it was closer to me but I will be a fan as long as your doors are open! Yum!!!!!

Man! Super tasty. Butter Rum had a slight burn to it like they actually used rum. Pistachio had an almost smokey flavor to it that was impressive. The only problem is that there are just too many good things here and not enough tummy to fit it all in.

The Italian ice was awesome! l loved it! My review is about the employees not wearing gloves and using bare hands, to handle food. One employee took his bare hands and pulled mints off of the ice cream, and put them on my serving of ice cream. I later looked up and saw him using his cellphone. Employees need to be required to at least wear disposable gloves.

A ton of great flavors! You can sample before you buy which is a great way to find your favorite! We had the Salted Caramel and Mint Chip and both were wonderful! Highly recommend the S'mores flavor as it has a cool campfire smoke flavor to it!

Delicious Gelato. Gelato is beautifully displayed. You can try samples before you decide what you want. Staff are very friendly and helpful when you are deciding. Great treat any time of year.

I love it here. Staff is always so friendly. The gelato is delicious! It's such a great healthy alternative for ice cream. Definitely recommend!

There are allot of different flavors. They are all really good. You can only sample 2 because of covid and spoon limits, not to mention to keep the line down. I think the best option is to get two different flavors in one bowel. The flavors are really strong so if you get just 1 flavir it can be over powering. There are also many other options then just gelatio. Milkshakes and dairy free options along with sugar free options. If you are going for the first time the staff can help you out but I would recommend avoiding weekends during rush hours as the line can get really long. There isn't much room inside so a line linger then 4 or 5 people means you waiting outside. Also there is only 1 or 2 tables inside. the rest is outdoor seating. The seating outside is nice but just know that there is no coverage so a hot or rainy day you would have to make a dash to your car or another shop with the Gelato. The only weird thing is that when you pay they ask for a tip. Which makes no sense to me ask they just give you the favor you ask for. I always feel weird about telling someone no to a tip but you have to decide on your own.

I’ve never had gelato, at least none that was as delicious and memorable. The place was pretty busy but it didn’t take long to get our order. Ice cream Is not anything I ever eat more than a few times a year. Well this Gelato was nothing I tasted before and now I’m craving it after a week! I ordered coconut and black cherry. I ate every last nite of a medium. Never done that with ice cream.🎉

We have been here twice so far in the past month!! The sorbet is so creamy, rich, and flavorful that I couldn't believe I was eating the sorbet instead of the gelato. My husband has tasted the gelato, and can confirm that it is equally as delicious! The staff is super polite and very helpful - and when I couldn't decide what I wanted the first time, the recommendation was perfect. I've gotten mango, strawberry, blackberry and raspberry so far and I just keep wanting more... and they've been great about making sure that the pint or quart we've brought home with us is packed tightly and so full that there isn't room for even a sprinkle to fit! XD which I'm very grateful for. The displays are absolutely gorgeous, they look unreal! The decorations only serve to make me want to taste everything, it's all just so appealing. This last time we went, there was a lavender gelato that I wanted to taste SO badly as soon as I saw it. Seating indoors is a little limited, but there's great places to sit just outside, which is where you really want to be while enjoying your frozen treat :) Very chill atmosphere inside and out! For Covid, they have several barriers and other measures in place to make sure you can safely get your gelato or sorbet, and there are also the floor stickers if you need help keeping distance while you order. The in and out doors are set up to let you naturally pass through without roadblocks, which seems to work quite well. Very ADA accessible. We will definitely be returning as soon as we finish the limoncello and blackberry combo we brought home. This is our new favorite dessert place, and we will be back as soon and often as we can!
