Well, It’s definitely an improvement over Planet Fitness! i’ve been working out here once a week for about three weeks now and I have attended my first yoga class today. It was in a hot yoga studio (which is not my favorite) but I enjoyed it quite a bit and it wasn’t “too” hot such that I felt like I could breathe finethrough the entire class. Even in a mask. Next I tried fruit smoothie from the shake bar, (the Very Veggie) and it was very tasty! I’ll do that again :-) Now I plan to hit the pool… overall this is a nice way to spend a Saturday off. Better than sitting on my couch watching TV and playing games on my phone. (Which has become too much of a habit!!!) With regards to sign up, they may encourage you to sign up online but… DON’T DO THAT. I suggest you just go in and give it a try with a very friendly people on site. My experience of attempting to sign up online was exasperating… First, being forced to set up a web account, then being directed to download the app; then being sent back to the website; then being sent back to the app; then getting to the gym and having to do it all over again; Then deciding to try the one-week trial; then, when the trial expired and I had to sign up for the permanent membership… AGAIN. Seriously?! So, in summary if you’re looking to get back to working out, this is a great place to start. There are tons of options from laying in a Hydro massage chair to free weights. And everything in between. Also they have on-site childcare, for those who still have babies in tow. Sometimes it is almost possible to be “all things to all people”... At least they are giving it a try ;-)

This gym honestly feels like an elevated Planet Fitness (not in a good way) but with more faulty equipment and worse staff. The past 3 days I've checked out the sauna and they do not feel like they are on. The bathrooms don't have toilet paper and when I asked for some, a female told me they haven't had any male employees to refill them. The locker rooms are small and people have to move around just to get to their things because the lockers are so compact. There are too little machines for the amount of people that are constantly swarming this place and machines get hogged by young people in groups of 3 or spend more time on their phone than using the equipment. Biggest red flag of all is this gym was fined $700 by the city for not cleaning routinely and blood was inside one of the saunas for more than a couple of days! Check out other gyms, this place is not worth it and a huge lawsuit waiting to happen.

Cool gym, enjoy the flow of equipment and training centers of your Chuze! As all new Club locations they pay attention to overall maintenance with friendly staff members, we will see how long that last. Overall, the best affordable gym with many amenities, seems to draw more youngster which can be encouraging, so expect most free weights delays, for whatever reasons that their preference.

I really enjoyed by brief membership . Unfortunately , I will be cancelling. I can never utilize all the equipment or space due to the place is always packed. Sometimes people sitting on the machine on their phone. I go to get my complete workout and relieve stress, this is hardly ever accomplished. 5 stars for great amenities and a nice vibe. 3 stars for not being able to utilize them.

Went in to try out the gym because our family just moved down the street. There were two desks and both were busy, but it turned out one being run by a young girl named Marissa was just talking to her friend. I asked for help signing up for the 7-day trial and was told to download the app. She was rude and short explaining what to do and spoke over me to her friend about buying leggings at Target. I downloaded the wrong app (Chuze Fitness has two apps in the Apple Store) and she rudely corrected me, was clearly bothered to not be continuing her conversation with her friend. She explained to me that there was an activation code that could only be used once. My goal was to tour the gym tonight, get the class schedule and tan. She did not tell me that tanning was not included in the 7-day trial or I would not have started it. I asked for a tour and she said “go ahead.” Ok. So I walked around and snapped a few photos of the facility for my husband, a professional athlete, who also planned to sign up with me. When I was finished I went back to the front desk, again interrupting Marissa and her friend’s conversation about Target leggings, to ask about tanning and she very rudely explained that it was not included in the 7 day trial. I am traveling for work for the following two weeks and don’t have time to go to different locations for gym+classes+tanning. I wanted to use a trial week for this and to sign up when I was back in the state. I asked if there was a manager and she shrieked, while throwing her hands up “I told you you can’t stop the trial once you put in the code!” At this point I need a manager and an actual adult to speak to. This staff member is poorly trained and really reflects negatively on Chuze as an organization. No one previewing a gym should be treated this way - customers are the life’s blood of a business and if it is too inconvenient to hanging out with your friends to explain details of the gym or any caveats to a 7-day trial, then this is probably not the part-time job Marissa needs. I said I would contact Chuze management to help me if she wouldn’t and Marissa screamed “FINE!” It is unbelievable that this was my first experience with Chuze. The other staff members looked shocked that she was speaking to someone this way. I am hopeful an adult manager will be able to rectify this situation and I will feel comfortable enough to try the club again at some point in the future. Younger staff are cheaper, but they can chase away potential customers if they don’t know why they are there. However, this location looks like a great facility and our household had hoped to sign up together. No stars for the customer service, four stars for the location. I’m hopeful someone from Chuze reaches out to me directly or provides me with a member services contact email. Watch out if you have to interact with staff. Unfortunately you can’t avoid them when you are signing up and have questions about services.

I enjoy the friendly staff, kind and considerate members and the diversity of this fitness center. However, it's only a matter of time before there's an altercation that becomes dangerous and perhaps violent. If it's not inside, it will spill out into the parking area. There are no rules in the gym. Most of us know how to share a space and equipment with others. I understand that management does not want to put workers in harms way and that is laudable. However, that puts the members in a position in which they have to stick up for themselves and it can become very uncomfortable and sometimes a bit scary. The most misused section of the gym is the 30-minute express workout. It's impossible to do one 15-minute rotation, so two is never going to happen. The machines are not only great for doing a quick workout - if that were possible - but also because they are easy to work and frequented by beginners, seniors and those recuperating from an injury. Anyone who uses the circuit knows that some of the machines are monopolized by individuals for long periods of time - 15, 20, 30 minutes or more. Some people go between the machine and floor exercises - plus their phone time which is usually more than their exercise time. While most of them are approachable and oblivious, it's been more than once that I've been told to "mind my own business" and "I can do whatever I want to do". And guess what? - they CAN! There's nobody who can stop them except perhaps for a person who's even more aggressive and arrogant than they are. This fitness center needs to have some rules that apply to all members. Even a tiny minority of inconsiderate bullies can spoil a session for those of us who are there just to get in a workout during a set time. We need structure at Chuze - and perhaps we will need security if nothing else works.

I absolutely LOVE everything about Chuze! I have been a member since before Chuze opened in ABQ, and Chuze is the only gym I have paid to belong to (I used to NEVER pay for gym memberships - I always worked out on my own). I love having this gym membership - it is SO affordable and completely worth every penny. I love all of the classes and amenities offered, especially team training. All of the team training coaches are fabulous- they are all supportive, knowledgeable, helpful, and SO friendly. The cleanliness of the facilities is top notch. It is so nice to see all of the team members working hard to keep the place as clean as possible, and the members are cognizant off wiping down their equipment after each use - with cleaning wipes that are spread out around the entire facility. Everyone who works at Chuze makes me (and all of their members) feel welcome and happy that I’m there. Chuze is the best!

I went it Chuze this morning for the first time as a guest. Solid gym with plenty or free weights, good equipment, and a theater room for doing cardio. Yes, actual movies on a big screen. My only complaint was Matrix treadmills. The staff was helpful and kinda. For the price, Chuze is in the same bracket as Planet Fitness and some other chains. The quality of Chuze is far beyond though.

It is a great gym, however, I am most impressed with the people working here. I needed help dealing with an issue that my normal branch of Chuze on the other side of town was unwilling to help with, so I called Chuze Eagle Ranch just hoping to speak to someone to assist. The people working here are so friendly and professional, I wish I had been going to this branch all along! If you are trying to find a gym, this seems like a good one.

Great gym, well maintained and clean. The only gym that hasn't made me feel out of place, I love using the equipment in the Cinema, lets me enjoy my cardio in peace. Awesome staff, only taking one star off because I do feel that staff is often standing around the front desk socializing which is in no means a bad thing but maybe there could be more productive ways to use their time. Just my opinion.

Clean. Spacious. Good and polite customer service with many smiles and desire to assist. Lots of group classes, machines and weights to choose from. Cinema room is awesome. The hydro massage delicious after a work out. Pool is big. If you are looking for a big gym with lots of options, I recommend.

Very impressed with this gym, coming from a 24 Hr fitness in San Diego California as my main gym, this place is unbelievably clean. All of the equipment is in working order, bathrooms and gym floor are tidy. I also really appreciate the friendliness of the patrons. Each time I have been to this gym people hold the door open for each other as well as wait their turn for machines. May consider the switch the Chuze back home.

This gym has a lot of amenities at a good price point. I originally signed up because I was using the pool to rehab my back after an injury. In my experience with the staff, I would rate them at about 3-4 star. Generally smiling and greeting when you walk in. I noticed that some of things are not regularly monitored like turning on steam room lighting in the morning, changing out the sanitizer wipes or playing the movies that are scheduled to play. I didn't really have a good experience in speaking with the GM Joe multiple times to have some of the treadmill total workout times increased. I asked if they could be set to a longer period like the uptown location. Multiple times I asked and no delivery. For that I give his service a 1 star. Even though It may not have been possible, there still was no follow up regardless.

I love it. I’m greeted when I come in and have a great day when I leave. This makes me feel like I’m appreciated for coming to the gym which makes you want to come back. The instructor’s are fantastic if you have questions they are very helpful. Every class is fun with a serious workout. When class is over not only did you have a great workout you had fun and feel better about what you accomplished. Thank you Paseo ChuzeFitness for being my favorite gym.

Great place to work out next to my old gym LA Fitness where I used to live. There are none in New Mexico, but I'll tell ya, not even planet fitness comes close to what you guys offer with workout equipment. But just like LA Fitness, there's always someone willing to spot you, or even workout with you if you come alone.. keep up the hard work guys.👍👏👏

I just recently signed up. I was reading some reviews and I have to say I don’t agree with them. I walked in for the first time and the ladies working the counter were all very sweet and friendly. I asked for a tour and they had no problem walking me around the facility. There’s so much to do here depending on the membership tier you select and I’m looking foreword to trying everything out! The gym can be a little crowded so I plan on asking when their down times are (because of course everyone is going in after their 9-5), so I’ll just adjust accordingly. Overall I think it’s a GREAT bang for your buck. :)

I recently injured myself at a local Cross Fit Gym. I took two weeks off to recover. In keeping a steady and consistent training schedule, Chuze Fitness provided me with the ability to recover quickly by taking and selecting from the various Group Fitness Classes to free weights and machines. I have fully recovered within weeks of my initial injury. From the Front Desk personnel to the Group Fitness Trainers, everyone provides a quality and professional attitude in helping me continue my weight loss and increased strength training. I recommend this gym all the time! It's super clean, staff are very helpful, available, and always smiling! There's plenty of equipment and wipes to clean equipment after you use it. Most of the people who go to this gym are very polite and courteous as well'! When was the last time someone held a door open for you? It happens here!

I really appreciate the positive attitude at the gym. From the moment you walk in there's a happy face greeting you. The instructors are very welcoming and encouraging. I've been very impressed how quickly staff have learned my name and worked to connect with me. I love love love my classes with Suzie, Margeaux, Patricia and Stephanie!

I was visiting Albuquerque and got a 7 day free trial. I loved all the amenities they had, swimming pool, sauna, movie theater while you exercise on the bikes, it was clean, didn't smell filthy, and there was moderate amount of people. Not over crowded. I loved it, however when I got my home town. The Chuze Fitness is linked with a local gym and they do not have all the same fun amenities. So for the price they are offering I just decided to keep my old gym membership.

I love Chuze fitness. They always great me as I enter and wish me a good day as I leave. The staff is eager to assist and is always helpful. The classes are fun and the instructors really seem to enjoy teaching them. The gym is clean and the machines are up to date and work properly. It is, by far, one of the best gyms I've ever had the pleasure of being a member of.

Only started coming here this week, and so far it’s been excellent. The staff seems to be very friendly and attentive. The facility itself it’s spacious, with plenty of rooms for different types of group/team training. And it also plenty of machines available for training. And although the parking lot may seem full, inside the building it doesn’t feel like that because there’s plenty of space. I’m loving it so far.

The staff is amazing and helpful! The gym is nice and clean (locker rooms could use a little more attention). I love the circuit machines! Love the classes and the sauna/steam room. Overall I've just had a great experience. I tell all of my people, whom are looking for a gym, that Chuze is the one they'll choose 😉.

This is the perfect place for me. It's clean, spacious, and the staff members are friendly. Lots of smiles! Their welcoming attitudes make me feel better even when I absolutely don't want to work out.

This gym literally has everything you could want and experience at a very affordable price!! It's super clean and spacious I never have to wait on something to open up, the classes are awesome. Staff are always friendly and helpful, did I mention they have a smoothie station!? 🙌🏻

Very laid back environment accommodating a vast variety of equipment, training facilities, and classes. Also appeals to a good mix of people using the gym. Well thought out floor plan. Staff at the front desk are always helpful, friendly, and available to assist and answer questions. Prices are very fair given the competition.

I love the classes and the instructors are great!! I am so grateful to this place for helping me with my anxiety. This morning I woke up with level 10 anxiety! I wanted to stay in bed but finally I got out of bed and went to Zumba. I got to dance my worries away and forget about my problems for an hour. I felt so much better and am so grateful!

First time gym goer here, Chuze staff was so friendly and the other customers were so welcoming. Very clean facilities, the 1.5 hour I was there I saw at least 4 staff members cleaning different parts of the gym. There was a lot of people using the free weights and there was a wait for some items, but everyone was courteous. They have so many different awesome features there like the steam room, pool, tanning and hydro massage chairs. This place has it all, and I will definitely be joining.

The gym and equipment is always clean, the equipment is well maintained, and the staff are always friendly. I’ve been to other gyms in other cities and states and none have been as clean, well maintained or have staff as friendly. Keep up the great work Chuze!

Staff caters to themselves more than their customers, this usually stems from poor management (no meetings of any substance). If you report equipment malfunctioning repeatedly for over a month they will jump out of there seat (except for a girl named Pijou) she is awesome. They also will lose tanning equipment down 30mins or more before closing so they can get out earlier. If your open your open, this is not the restaurant industry. I just miss customer service and good management I guess.
