Cómo dicen en mi Rancho “ Nos hicieron el fuchi” Wife and I wanted to try out this new place. We got there Sunday at 5:49 there were people dining and the open sign was on so we parked right in front and we see one of the servers rush to turn off the open sign and with hand gestures insinuating that they were closed. As a business owner I would never do that to any potential customers specifically if I’m just starting the business. Her actions made us feel unwelcome. So we kindly took our business elsewhere where.

Very delicious authentic Mexican food. The coffee was served in traditional Mexican Earthenware which kept our coffee hot most of the meal. Tatiana was very charming and came and checked on us throughout the meal to make sure we didn't have a need of anything. I'm very picky about my refried beans and rice, and these were five star. Can't wait to go again.

My folks were here last night and the restaurant helped me do them a kindness. I wanted to show my appreciation, so I went in for lunch today. A lot of you had good things to say about this place on my last post so I was excited to get in here. I was impressed. Even the chips & salsa were above expectations. The salsa has a great garlic flavor up front and a delicious, lingering heat. The chips and thicker than average. I had some simple street tacos, asada, pollo & al pastor. The al pastor was my favorite, but they were all good and heavier than your average street tacos. Hot sauce was a delicious option. I'm happy to recommend this place on the basis of the food alone, but I also got to meet the owner today. You will not find a bigger sweetheart than this lady. (I'm a horrible person and forgot her name) She took care of my folks for me and made sure I had a great meal too. Customer for life. There's a lot of heart and a lot of flavor packed into this little restaurant. Definitely worth your time.

I had high expectations for this restaurant, but it was very disappointing. We ordered a hot seafood molcajeton, and it was not good. The seafood (shrimp, fish, octopus, etc) was drowning in salsa! The molcajeton does not come with a side of rice or beans. You have to order those separately. The other plate we ordered was fish tacos, which were ok, nothing outstanding. The chips and salsa were good, and the service was great. This was our first time going, and maybe we didn't order a good dish. However, based on the reviews, I expected everything on the menu to be amazing. BTW - This place does not serve alcohol.

Wow. Best molcajete in Town perfectly cooked carne asada, chicken, bacon wrapped and breaded shrimp. Yummy cheese, sauces and nopal. My wife had an asada torta bigger than her head. So many leftovers. We’ll be back soon.

Ay Mi Mexico is a very good restaurant. This establishment sets a high standard for its food quality and ensures that guests receive the same quality with every meal. Myself and an associate were served quality food. Tatiana’s professionalism gives this restaurant a good reputation. I am compelled to return as your guests for repeat visits. It was very uplifting to witness this business taking great care of a homeless veteran instead of treating them like a vagrant. I highly encourage everyone to support this business.

Delicious!!! If you are looking for authentic Mexican food, you have to come to Ay Mi Mexico! The food is amazing and the service is superb. Highly recommended!! I love bringing friends and family here because they have all walked out so happy with their belly full.

I eat almost every day there I like the service every time I go. My fav is the molcajete. I do recomend Ay MI México if you are looking for Authentic mexican food! Very clean place.

Wow! I had a spectacular and delicious "seven seas soup" that i will remember for a long time. A day later, i can still remember what it tastes like. My companion had fish tacos which were also amazing. Highly recommend! The ambience is no frills casual dining. The service is fast, friendly and just the right level of attentive.

Wow! We were blown away by the food quality. Simply one of the best in Albuquerque. The crispy beef tacos were the BEST I've ever tasted!! Tender, juicy beef with a delicious slow roasted flavor. Refried beans and rice were excellent. Excellent guacamole. Service was very friendly and attentive. Everything ordered was fantastic! You can't go wrong here!!!

Okay restaurant but needs work. When we arrived many of the tables were dirty and stayed dirty during our stay. They only had one waitress she was nice. We ended up waiting 40 mins for our food and there was only two other tables taken beside us. The food is pricey and I know Mexican food isn’t cheap but I did mind that the menu wasn’t correct on our order and when I told them they told me they would fix it this one time but there menu changed, as if It was my fault the menu didn’t describe the plate change. Also the rice tastes very New Mexican style for being a Mexican restaurant. Other than that the green enchiladas are good.

To sum up this review, the place is okay. There isn't anything really special about it. Food wasn't bad but not good enough to recommend.its a family owned restaurant so it is pricy. Had ordered 4 plates and total was around 120. Only thing I liked was the atmosphere and service, it's calm and the manager can be walking around and is friendly. Has a lot of potential but as it stands I'd recommend other Mexican restaurants
