Very cute rooms! I stayed in the Colorado style room and loved it. I like having a little table to eat at and the sink is placed to the side of the counter instead of the middle so you have space for your toiletries on the counter. This place has that cute mountain town feel you would hope for and is easy to get to. Rooms have standard keys, it is an older building so no key cards. They had nice options of different foods for breakfast including bagels, oatmeal, grits, several different Granola bars, fresh fruit, and Jimmy Dean sandwiches

LOVED our stay here!!! Came to town for the Georgetown loop railroad, This hotel was amazing! Fantastic staff, Awesome choice of rooms (I love all the wood) Fun lobby (cozy with games, fireplace and SNES!) Outdoor hot tub and heated indoor pool! Loved our room (the only thing we didn't love was no clock in the room) And the tub/shower? So much hot water, so fast with great pressure! Oh yeah!!! Oh and guess what? Real blankets on the bed! Not this thin sheets most hotels put on, but real blankets with weight and coziness! Nice breakfast. Small little area, had bread and bagels, muffins, grits and oatmeal, hard boiled eggs and fruit, yogurt and various granola bars, different types of tea and coffee etc

We had a great experience with a last minute one-night booking to help us beat the traffic with the family for skiing. The lodge is older but clearly well maintained. It's a very laid back vibe and simple, but has everything you need. There is a pool and a hot tub, rooms that accommodate lots of people (we had 5), and grab-and-go-breakfast that is included. Georgetown is a cute little town if you want to hang out there too.

We originally booked the Georgetown Lodge, but after a bad experience there, we left after an hour and came to the Georgetown Mountain Inn. It was night and day. The people are amazing, the atmosphere is cozy and clean, the rooms don’t smell like mildew, but like clean sheets and vanilla, and the rooms are super clean. The sound-proofing is excellent for sleeping, and the beds are softer. Just all-around amazing.

It's a perfect, cozy mountain inn. Rooms are classic and filled with timber furniture, lobby has a toasty fireplace and games to pass the time during a storm, hot tub is hot and clean, staff is kind. Georgetown Mountain Inn is in a different class than the budget hotel chains. Absolute gem along the 70 corridor!

We were looking for inexpensive lodging near Keystone and unfortunately couldn’t find anything. We decided to stay outside the ski town up the highway in Georgetown and we were so glad we did!! The inn was perfect after a long day of skiing! It was very clean, comfortable and the room was larger than expected. The rooms are a little dated but well maintained. The staff was so friendly and everything was very low key and easy. There’s an outdoor hot tub and pool and also an indoor pool as well. Parking was easy and plentiful right outside our room so we were able to bring in our gear easily. There’s also a decent free continental breakfast to take advantage of before heading back to the slopes. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and will chose the Georgetown Inn again! Also, the Vietnamese restaurant across the street was really good and just added to the overall awesome experience at the inn!

We were traveling from Las Vegas to Chicago. We were caught in the Colorado winter storm and needed to stop for the night. We tried Idaho Springs but they were not accommodating and we did not feel welcome. Georgetown Mountain Inn was very welcoming, friendly, and listened to every concern. It was very family friendly with a hot pool with water guns and volley balls. At the front desk you could check out games to play and they had quiet time for relaxing. They had a very nice continental breakfast and my kids really enjoyed themselves. My fur babies also felt at ease there and they had a dog park nearby as well. If your in Colorado near George town stop at Mountain Inn it will be worth your time and money. Love every worker I encountered. Thanks Sam

We had a really nice stay at the Mountain Inn! The room was very cute with the wood/pine furniture. Very clean. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, and a nice little breakfast with delicious coffee was set up in the main lobby in the morning. We walked a few blocks down to Coopers on the Creek for dinner and had a great meal there, but there’s also a restaurant right next to the Inn as well. We would definitely stay here again!!

Excellent customer service, fastest check-in ever (we arrived very late, the host left the key under doormat and upgraded us to a first floor room, we parked right in front of the door and walked in, at 1am). A good restaurant is 20 feet in front of the hotel. And it's close to many ski resorts.

Needed a last minute one night reservation And was in a big hurry because of hours of traffic jams potentially going to make me late for the opera in Central City where I could find no rooms. Checked in person all over Georgetown and this was definitely the best most reasonable option. I got one of the rooms that had not been remodeled because I wanted to be on the ground floor and have AC. It was perfectly fine and met all my needs. It took me awhile to figure out that 1 of the remotes was for the air conditioner and there was no other way to start it, when I got back late at night from the opera, so they may want to label that remote or put something in their booklet about that. The decor was very dated but not depressing and I just needed a comfortable place to sleep.

This was the perfect place for the perfect price for a one day get-away from Denver. The front staff was very friendly and the King Size Log Room exceeded expectations in terms of amenities (fridge and DISHTV). The bed was also very comfortable. We will definitely be back!

Nothing to complain about. We stayed in the Colorado style rooms. Enjoyed the pool (heated). Coffee was hot at breakfast. Shower was great. No AC, so we slept with our windows open to cool it down which was just fine. (Quiet outside) Beds are fairly soft.

The rooms were a little dated but comfy. Old style baseboard heaters weren't warming quite well but they gave us a portable heater to compensate. Their free breakfast was quite good with keto/protein options like boiled eggs and cheese and was open until 11am!

Great staff. Super nice. Amazing hot tub and pool with a good view night/day of the mountains above. Staff went beyond and helped return one of my bags left in the room. This Inn is highly recommended!

Fantastic stay. Amber and Jessica at the front were so accommodating and friendly. We booked two rooms, and had a great family stay. The hot tub and indoor pool were very nice in the cold and snowy weather. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a nice lowkey stay in the mountains.

We have stayed here on several occasions and just love it here!! As with any business there is always room for improvement but its with all projects they take time. We did not stay in one of the upgraded rooms but that didn’t matter to us. We have seen reviews of some complaining about not having “modern” amenities like ac but my understanding is that some rooms do have ac however you don’t really need it at night it gets pretty chilly and we aren’t afraid to leave the windows open. This place/town gives you a very homey/secure feeling. The owners are super accommodating!!! They go above and beyond to try to make sure you have a great stay!! They have a small pool so there will be splashing so if you don’t like getting wet stay out of the pool! The hot tub had a great view 💜 one night they had live music next door to enjoy while you soaked. They have games in the office for the kids to borrow…we just can’t say enough nice things about this place!!! Thank you for a great stay we can’t wait to come again!!!

This place is incredibly run down and sketchy. The rooms look like they haven't been updated since the '70s. Also if you book a pet friendly room online, be prepared to pay an extra fee when you show up that they don't tell you about, when you book the room. Don't waste your money. Find a nicer place to stay.

Wonderful location and staff were very nice and helpful. Loved the log furniture but rooms were a bit dated with the old paneling. Steps leading upstairs also needed painted. Overall, it worked for us!

I’ve been coming here for almost 15 years. It never disappoints. The Colorado rooms are charming and the owners are so sweet and accommodating. Breakfast and coffee in the morning is great. I’ve stayed here a total of 4 times and I’ve always been happy with the place. I always look forward to meeting other patrons in the lobby in the morning. Can’t say enough good things about GMI. 😃😃😃

Wonderful mountain village atmosphere and very professional nice, helpful staff... the room was out of date but it was exactly what we were expecting and gave it a rustic feel. Bed was extremely comfortable and it had good food, gas, and convenient stores within walking distance. Breakfast was more than what we expected and coffee was strong and wonderful 👍😁 We heard the kids in the other room which was a bummer but nothing a fan we requested from front desk helped drown it out. Definitely would stay there again.

Georgetown Mountain Inn....Please don't EVER change. Over 40 years of visiting Colorado and this little gem always takes me back. Myself and family have stayed here many times and we will be back again. There are enough new hotels....It is places like this that make Colorado trips fun, and as a backpacker/Jeeper, more authentic. Rooms are nice (Colorado room especially), breakfast options are good, the staff is very friendly and all of the great things that Georgetown has to offer are just steps away. Besides, not much beats walking out of your door in the morning to the smell of the mountain air and a hot cup of coffee! Skip the brand name hotels and stay here!! Help keep these great Motels in business!

Just what you’d hope a small town mom-n-pop style motel in the mountains would be! Host was very accommodating to our late arrival. Cabin rooms were very cozy and clean. Lobby is like an old west lodge. Beds are extremely comfortable! Very nice place.
