Grabbed some authentic food on the go today - they made my pup a carne taco without any toppings too! Deeelish

Delicioso! First time trying this drive thru restaurant, after noticing how they are always busy. Not only was everything hot, all this was only $8.99! I had the chimichanga (which was cooked perfectly!) plate with refried beans and rice. It came with two small containers of the freshest green and red salsas I have ever gotten from a restaurant. The employees were very friendly and I didn't have to wait long for my food at all. I'll definitely be back! Update: I've been back to El Grullo several times since my last review. This time, I wanted to try something new as I always greeyt either the chimichangas or tacos (both so good!) so I ordered the Steak Rancheros. It was also tasty and came with fresh corn tortillas, rice, and refried beans. A new favorite! I have yet to be disappointed with this place!

I and my family love the food here and order take out from here every week! My wife and I always say how we love it so much we don't even want to try other Mexican places. But our experience tonight changed our minds. We placed our weekly order plus a pizza birria and they charged me way more than any other time. The pizza birria is $25, I get that. But they charged me $15 on a pound of chicken that was $9 last week. 160% price increase? The online menu still says $9.99. Is this false advertising? When I brought it up with them, they said this is just how their register is keyed. But it wasn't keyed like that last week or the week before....No apologies at all. So I guess I'm gonna start looking at other Mexican places even though we love the food here.

Tonight I ordered the Pizzabirria but I also get the pollo loco too at times. I’ve been going to this place now for that last 5 months and it never fails in impress me. The staff is always so pleasant and amazing. No matter what I have ordered, the food is always hot and fresh. So very delicious and did I mention it’s normally pretty quick to get through. It’s very rare that I sit there for more than 10 mins. I can’t get through McDonald’s or Taco Bell without sitting for 30 mins or so. Some nights I pass this place and cars are stop on the street waiting to get in. That should tell you all you need to know ♥️

Everything here is amazing! The people who work here are so nice too. I have been looking for somewhere that had good pozole rojo and found this place I'm in love !!

The onion tacos are phenomenal. The hint if meat, and the plethora of onions, adds a great balance of Shrek and Fiona to the dish. On a serious note, best place hands down for authentic Mexican food and horchata that’ll knock your socks off.

Authentic mexican food. Prices have increased, but food is great. I recommend bringing cash since they added a cc fee. They no longer accept cash app.
