We checked in and the desk lady and the cleaning lady was super nice. Lobby was really nice. When we got to our room it smelled awful. The room was very dated. The bathroom wasn't as clean as it should of been. They way some of the other staff that was up stairs watched me intently as I was bringing my things to the room made me very uncomfortable. So my husband and I checked out and went to another hotel.

I booked the jacuzzi room and it was a good night. The hotel let me check in early to decorate the room. Guest services was nice. The breakfast bar was good and the pool area was nice and clean. Everything turned out to be great.

We booked a honeymoon suite with jacuzzi, champagne chocolates and flower petals. Room was nice although the water was more warm than hot. Unfortunately, nothing of the package besides the jacuzzi was setup. They gave us cheap wine and chocolates at the front desk when we inquired about it. Breakfast was solid and the air force museum close by was great. This oversight was a little disappointing but we didn't let it ruin our wedding weekend.

Hotel entrance was under construction and kind of awkward but probably not avoidable. The facility was very nice. Pool, breakfast area, lobby, common areas were all beautiful. The room was very nice also. TV had many channels which was great. We had no issues with the room with three minor exceptions. First, the floor/ceiling above our room (221) was bad. We heard the people above us walking around all night. I've never heard people above us as loud as we did here. Second, the vanity was surprisingly small considering how much room there was in the bathroom. There could easily have been double the counter space. We had stuff piled up all over. Third the bathroom had no fan so after a shower it was so steamy it took a half hour for the mirror to be usable. Nothing terrible but seemed like all could have been resolved easily.

Overall, our stay was pretty good. Front desk staff were cheerful and very kind. The lobby and breakfast area were spacious and very neat and tidy. The hotel itself sits off the main road and is only about 3 minutes from the mall and other shopping and restaurants. Waffle House, Hardee's and Sonic are across the street for quick options and Meijer is literally a block away. Casey's is also across the parking lot. However, the banister on the staircase is loose and could become hazardous if not taken care of. The food at the breakfast bar also upset my stomach but it could be because it is heavily processed but it's included in the price of the room so I really shouldn't complain. Overall,it was a pleasant stay and we will most likely stay again.

Had several rooms reserved for out of town guests for our wedding. LaRae, the front desk supervisor, was EXTREMELY nice and helpful. I personally worked with her to make sure everyone's check in was smooth. She was patient, helpful and very personable. My family even commented on how sweet she was. Several of guests said the breakfast was amazing. The rooms were extremely clean and quiet.

Had our honeymoon here in Dayton and this is where we booked to stay. Service and price are phenomenal! The manager gave us a free upgraded room due to the occasion and left us a surprise in our room! Definitely recommend this hotel! Also the best continental breakfast we have ever had at any hotel!

Very nice hotel. I stay here multiple times a week. My only caveat is that the TVs in the rooms don’t have buttons built in to them. Meaning if the room doesn’t have the original factory remote, you can’t change the input on the TV. So you are out of luck if you plan on bringing a game console with you. Other than that, a very comfortable hotel. EDIT: LG Model 49LV560H does NOT have buttons on the side. It's a hotel specific model designed to not allow manual input changes.

There were plenty of restaurants around. Staff were really nice and the service was amazing especially breakfast! Very pleased and definitely would love to come back! The only down fall I had was we could of used a couple more pillows and if you are planning on swimming it's extremely cold till the heat gets turned back on in the pool. Other then those two things it was an amazing stay!

Rooms were very clean along with the rest of the hotel. Pool area was clean, pool was chilly, plenty of towels in the pool area. Breakfast was good and everything was kept filled. We had an issue with the sink in our room and once reported it was fixed. The location of this hotel worked well for us there are restaurants qithin walking distance. Our only complaint is the beds are really firm and the pillows are extremely firm as well.

4 stars for some minor issues with room, bed was a bit uncomfortable, and facet leaked in bathroom. Breakfast great, large variety to choose from and service staff excellent, would go here again if passing by.

Laray greeted us at the front counter with a beautiful smile and a lovely attitude. Laray is a beautiful soul and this hotel is lucky to have such a great person. We even had a small issue and Laray personally came up to help us to resolve the issue. She wished us a happy anniversary and left us with a great stay. The hotel itself was great and the room was clean. Thanks for a great stay.

If you get a good room, this is a great place to stay. If you get a room with a jacuzzi in it, it makes for an odd business trip. But the service is great, and friendly. They also have electric car chargers in front of the hotel!

This hotel is very clean, the rooms are nice and they give you the perfect amount of towels. They have all the essentials you need in the rooms and the staff is very friendly. This hotel is cheaper than the others around and so worth it, save the money and choose country inn. It’s so nice!

Anniversary weekend, so we got a room with a jet tub. Tub was old and left a "grit" in the bottom every time we used it. The air conditioning was not right. We kept turning it down but it just did not get cool enough for us. Room could have used some updating but was clean. Lobby/grounds/pool/breakfast area were all clean and pleasant. All staff encountered were friendly and helpful.

The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was good. We ate a lot of waffles. They had eggs, cereals, sausage, waffles, oatmeal, small potatoes, honey buns, and small coffee cakes. We enjoyed our stay and will stay here next time.

Decent rooms. Good service The plug points and wall USB chargers by bed side are pretty useless. They are very loose and not functional. Little bit of inconvinience as we have to use wall across the bedside for charging They have a great pool for kids to hangout

We were om the 2nd floor. The people above was sooo noisy. I'd stay again, but on the 3rd floor. No one above my head ever again. Excellent breakfast every day. Clean room. Great customer service. Excellent for the price and location

Very nice front desk attendants, breakfast was decent. The bed was not super comfortable, and the jacuzzi looked like it was 20 years old and very janky. Almost got severely injured because of the bare tile outside of it. Otherwise decently priced!

It’s a great little hotel, excellent value. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was quite good, lots of options such as bacon, sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy, cereal, muffins and bagels, juice, etc. Only complaint is my room was near the elevator and icemaker, and I could hear quite a bit of noise from those all night. But I don’t really fault the hotel that someone decided to get ice at 4:30 AM!

Very nice staff. Clean and quiet. Excellent value for the price we pay. It is close to the Air Base museum. There is shops and restaurants around for longer stay.

Room was nice. Staff decided it was a good idea to call my phone and wake me up really early because they for got to get all my credit card info. Really NOT happy about that since i couldn't fall back asleep. It could have waited for sure. We all make mistakes but hopefully they think that one through next time

Nice place, room is clean and service is very good. Bed is a little stiff for my liking and wish there was a bigger refrigerator (long stay) breakfast served is great location I enjoy it every morning. Internet is fast and free. Suite layout is nice as it provides privacy.

All around, this is a quality hotel and staff. The ladies serving breakfast did an AMAZING job at keeping the food stocked and area clean. On both Saturday and Monday mornings, the crowd was enormous and constant. They knocked it out of the park in keeping breakfast going. I was impressed upon my arrival to see two things I don't see at most hotel stays: 1) I saw an individual room having its carpet shampooed. 2) I saw an in room air conditioner being replaced. Both of these those the care the hotel leadership is giving to ensure a quality guest experience. The pandemic has been hard on the entire hotel industry, but this hotel has done everything in their power to minimize those effects on their guests.

Very convenient location. Close to everything, only about 3 mi from the air force museum. The rooms could use some updating. We had Jacuzzi room. Room was very clean. The staff was excellent. Very friendly! The breakfast buffet was very good, a little something for everyone. The staff that was stocking it was very friendly, coming around asking if everything was ok,and if we needed anything. The pool was clean as well. Overall, we were very pleased, on a side note, the rooms are not soundproofed at all. We were on second floor and first night the room above us had someone that was up most of the night walking around, heavy footed which was quite annoying and a room next to us was a bit loud. I always travel with ear plugs and a white noise sound machine so was able to lessen the noise. Will definitely return again. Very hospitable staff!

This was not the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, but it was quite expensive ($163+ for one married couple) and at that price it should be WAY better than it is! You probably want to know if I saw bed bugs - and fortunately, I didn't, but everything else about the place is a LOW "C" grade. OUR most maddening complaint was the comfort level - there wasn't one. We were there in May, with seasonal weather, and the place was stiflingly hot! The common areas on the first floor all felt like the pool room, and our room, on the 2nd floor was even hotter. The room AC (which was one of those wall-through units which CAN turn a room that size into a refrigerator) was locked on one setting. I KNOW it was locked because NONE of the buttons would respond to any command - couldn't turn it up, couldn't turn it down, couldn't turn it off - nothing! I'd say it was about 75 in there, which is just too high for us - especially after a shower. Desk clerk said vaguely that all they could do was move us to another room. Well we had to leave for an appointment very soon and I would have bet money that any other room would have been locked on 75 too - especially since the common areas were also uncomfortable, so we just put up with it for one night and found other accommodations for the rest of the trip.

Not a bad place. Was outdated. Needs some work all around. Pool could be warmer. Breakfast and breakfast lady were great. The worst about the whole place werw the beds and pillows. Mattress was extremely hard and pillows were too soft but even that i fell asleep every night within minutes. Even with those minor problems would stay there again.

Review wasn’t about Government ID. It was concerning Customer Service and Hotel. Treatment of valuable paying patrons of your business. Didn’t matter about IDs. This review is very accurate of what happened and how several different customers were treated. Might benefit to update customer service training classes. They would be helpful.

Beautiful hotel. Staff was friendly. Two reasons for the 4 star rating. One-the outlets wouldn't hold our chargers. The plug was so loose there was no connection at all. Two-no exhaust fan in the bathroom.

I could show you the room, but you can see that online. After a long day of travel and work, I found this little gem of a hotel hidden. Picked a room with the jacuzzi and relaxed! Although they were out of the wine, they offered some chocolate 🤷🏻‍♀️ The view was especially nice because There was not a lot of traffic, so I could keep the blinds open and enjoy the peace and quiet. Breakfast was great, and checking out was super simple! I was a little hard to find, but I like the fact that it was hidden!

Nice hotel, but trying to find the hotel was a bit confusing. We had to turn around at least two times when we first got there to get to the hotel. Overall nice hotel, friendly staff, ok breakfast, but we were surprised that we were given a free bottle of wine because when we had entered the hotel I was still in my wedding dress from earlier that day.

I stayed here in December 2021 and it was a nice stay. I thought I would stay here again since I didn’t have any problems last time. I wish I wouldn’t have. Mold everywhere! The entire room in general was very unclean. Walls/ceiling were paper thin. Every footstep above us made the ceiling sound like it was cracking. The breakfast and every staff member running it was great. Best part of our stay.

Booked room months in advance for a Dave Matthew's concert. Received email night before stating that due to high demand the free cancelation they offered was no longer available. No problem, didn't want to cancel. Minutes later received text message confirming my reservation and saying we well see you tomorrow at 3 for check in. Drive from Chicago to the hotel and arrive at 3:45 to be told they are sold out and never had a reservation for me... Desk clerk has no explanation for why i have an email and text message from them the day before. Go out to car and look them up on website to see they are booking rooms at double the price of the reservation i already had. Luckily found nicer hotel close by for half the price. Sorry to all the Dave fans this hotel gouged for this concert.

Nice and clean. Good staff. Easy access to the University and Air Force Museum. Fridge and microwave in room were a plus. Beds and pillows were not good. Breakfast was nothing special. But we would stay again
