1st Timer! Someone told me about this place and I’m so happy I tried it out! This restaurant was so bomb!! I had a cucumber margarita which sounds as it tastes! Yum! Very good and refreshing! I ordered chicken fajitas (my fav) which was very fresh and surprising still hot as I was leaving! My server was so sweet and attentive. Ask for Amy!! There was no music playing and they turned it on for us without a problem and it just was a nice touch to the whole ambience of this restaurant. Definitely will be back and I’d definitely recommend!

Cute place and some of the staff are very friendly. Some were aloof and I guess don't know how to smile or were having bad days. Lots of kids everywhere, but, it's Franklin. You either get college students or families. We sat at the bar expecting quicker service, but things took twice as long. It took 25 minutes for my burrito bowl to come to the table and I am the only one who had an entree. Food is OK. Not much seasoning or spice on anything. I had a burrito bowl which was ok, but the salad greens were not dressed leaving me to top it with salsa. The house made hot salsa was not hot. I found the food bland, but, I'm a Hoosier now living in California and I like my spicy spicy and my food very flavorful. Top shelf margarita was made with orange juice, despite the menu stating it wasn't. I do not like those types of margaritas, but, c'est la vie. Too sweet - I'm into lime, old school margaritas with no sweet and sour. Just "ok" overall.

The food never disappoints at this restaurant. The service was great and we will definitely go back. We got the Chimichanga, Chori Pollo, and the Tinga Tacos!

I had take out so cannot give an opinion regarding atmosphere. The food was hot, fresh, cooked properly and tasted delicious. This was my third meal from blue cactus and tonight will be my fourth. I started eating before I thought of taking a picture so please know the initial presentation was better. Love this place!!

Great food and atmosphere. We stopped by for dinner on our road trip. Totally worth the 10 minute drive from the interstate. I forgot to take pictures but their tortilla chips are homemade as are their corn tortillas, and they are delicious. Their house salsa has good flavor. We shared the barbacoa tacos and the grilled shrimp tacos, both on corn tortillas. Wish we lived closer because we'd be regulars!

We came here for my husband’s birthday. They put a hat on him, sang, and he got a shot of tequila. The food was ok. I got the barbacoa tacos with black beans as a side. For the price I wasn’t impressed. The salsa that came with it was the best part. Someone in our group got the Margarita flight. They were packed and the food and service were both slow.

we usually order takeout. food is always consistent. if you order chips and salsa, they actually give you the amount listed on the menu. kids meals are reasonably priced (big plus for our family). my husband found a hair in his food once, and that didnt deter this from being our go-to mexican restaurant- if that tells you anything.

Absolutely fantastic food! I don't bring my picky kids, but we have girls' night here frequently! The tacos are delicious, but my favorite thing here is the chicken and steak nacho appetizer! I order it for my main course almost every time I go.
