This place is nice but the food could've been better! I would NOT be going back to this place even my kids didn't really like it. Toooo much money for NOTHING....I gave three stars because of the building the food needs a REDO! My $4.00 strawberry lemonade was only pink lemonade (wish I could've tooking a picture of it 😂)....Alfredo taste like butter, I didn't eat my spaghetti, the milestone soup was just NASTY 🤢 the pizza bread was good the lasagna my husband only ate 2-3 bites out of it and the 3meat spaghetti that my son had looked terrible they did a HORRIBLE job presenting they could've chopped up the sausage but it came out looking like a whole face🤦🏾‍♀️🤣 anywho I won't spend my money again.... Thank you but No thank you! $100 down the drain

Great food and service in a beautiful historic building. Our waitress helpful and very good. They have large portions at a fair price. I highly recommend saving room for the tiramisu however most meals come with a ice cream dessert.

I loved this restaurant. We were a group of two that walked in and we were seated immediately. Larger groups should call ahead. The food and environment were amazing and our server, Julia was awesome. The prices are great and the food was worth every penny. I would highly recommend you check them out!

This was an incredible dining experience. Not only was the historic building (and it's furnishings) incredibly beautiful, the service was great, food excellent, and value unheard of. My waitress, Sierra, was super friendly and attentive, and the front staff seated me immediately even though I didn't have a reservation. I got a delicious 3 course meal for around $15. I would've taken a picture of my spinach and cheese ravioli with marinara, but I was too busy eating it. Their marinara was advertised as "from scratch" and it didn't disappoint. My waitress made my Italian cream soda herself. It was sublime. She even gave me a clean glass to take home as she saw I was admiring it. My only regret is that I don't live closer, so I could bring my family.

I love this place! Great service all around! Came in Sunday night, The hostess I think her name was Eliza went out of her way to make sure we had a seat in the train for my son! She made sure everything was cleaned and we were seated quick, top notch customer service. Food was awesome! My son loved looking around an checking out the old school atmosphere! Stained glass was beautiful! We will be back on our next trip to Louisville!

I ate here the last time I was in Louisville years ago and remembered as being excellent. I've literally thought about it ever since -- so I was bound to be let down by the real experience...and I was. But that's mostly the fault of my own very high expectations. I had the spaghetti with Sicilian meatballs and while it wasn't QUITE as good as I recalled, it was still very good and immensely satisfying. The meatballs were very nicely spiced and I really like the sauce. The spumoni that came with the meal was more plain chocolate than spumoni, but really tasty and creamy, so still very good. My biggest complaint is that I was told it would be a twenty minute wait and it was closer to forty -- they texted just as I was about to give up. Still, the food is tasty and the atmosphere is fun. If you've been to other locations, you pretty much know what to expect. I liked it, and I'll go again, either here in Louisville or to one of the other locations.

The interior design of this old building is beautiful and classy, but homey at the same time. The old box car inside is super cool as well. The service was timely and our server was very kind and polite. The Mizithra and Browned Butter pasta is amazing. The flavor is dynamite and the flavors are so cohesive. The Chicken Marsala is creamy and flavorful. The portions are almost enough for 2 meals. I highly recommend finishing your meal with the spumoni. You can't buy anything like it in stores. (Admittedly I already started to eat it before taking the picture.) This place is a must try if you are close to any of their locations. I have been to the one in Indianapolis, IN as well, and it was an equally great experience.

I took the family here for a late lunch, and they enjoyed it. There was hardly anyone there. There was a parking garage right next door, which was very nice. The service was prompt, and friendly. Everyone enjoyed their food, but the prices are a little steep for what it is. Other than that, we had a good time. The kids really enjoyed their cotton candy limeade. The atmosphere is great, and the inside has an old time ambiance. The kids thought it was cool sitting in the trolly.

I had a great time. I whent with a big group and a small group and waiting times were what would be expected. The food was AMAZING, not just the main course but the soup and ice cream as well. The decorations were beautiful and created a lovely atmosphere. The staff was very kind.

Yum yum. Food and staff is great but what won me over was the building. There is so much detail and money put into the decor. Beautiful.

My little girls love fancy places and this is right up their alley. They love all the fancy furniture and big light fixtures and fancy decor. Of course every kids love noodles/sphegeti so you are set on the menu. I will say service is spotty at best. I see the waiters and waitresses working hard. But, it seems like large parties are priority and everyone else waits....and wait we did, for everything. Always seem to. Maybe that's part of slowing the meal down so you enjoy it. Still worth a fun treat from time to time but with the prices, wait times and slow service we won't frequent the establishment.

My first time at this restaurant and it was great! We had such a fun time people watching and overhearing conversations because of the close seating in the train car. The food was very good and reasonably priced. Our server Eric was a champ! Other staff were friendly too. Make a reservation if you want to go because it gets crazy busy there! We did and didn’t have to wait but a few minutes.

I miss the one in Nashville, so while in downtown Louisville. I decided to stop in for dinner. The place was packed, but we were able to get a table. I still like the atmosphere of this place. I love seeing the train cart in the restaurant.

This place was lovely! There was a really long wait but the high top tables around the bar seem to be first come first serve. I really think the hosts should tell guests that. I might keep some wait down. Our sever was so nice and everything came out quick. The food and drinks were to die for!

Decided to give this place a try, needed some Italian in my life lol. Ordered the Garlic Mizithra with no mushrooms. Can’t say I found any garlic in this dish. The bacon has a few burnt pieces in it, I mean they be black and bitter. I assume all of the saltiness in this dish was from the cheese. I added the meat sauce and chopped meatballs to it and it helped. But as I are the saltiness just kept building and building. By the time I finished the dish it was getting hard to eat. It started out pretty good but there was just so much of the cheese to overcome. The bread was just a bread. Nothing special, didn’t seem fresh baked and didn’t come with butter. The minestrone was pretty good, but not the featured dish I ordered. The meatballs were tender and flavorful. Overall I would say things were pretty average. But maybe worth trying something else another time and posting again.

We came in on a late flight and decided to eat here 20 minutes before closing. The staff was helpful and friendly and didn’t mind us being late. The food was terrific Italian cuisine. Good place and classy

For me, the atmosphere had more flavor than the food. I had the ravioli... The sauce didn't cover them and it was pretty dry. But, the Moscato and tiramisu was good!

We loved this restaurant, the decoration is stunning and the vintage vibe of the place makes you feel like you went back in the past, all the staff were very friendly and helpful and the pasta is amazing! I recommend getting an Italian Cream Soda so you can get a free cup to bring home as a souvenir Every entree at The Old Spaghetti Factory is served with hot fresh baked bread, soup or crisp green salad, and a scoop of our signature spumoni or vanilla ice cream

Very good Italian restaurant. Only had takeout but the restaurant looked nice on the inside. Food was packaged to keep it very warm for my walk back to my hotel. Had two lasagna orders and was told one piece of bread per take out order. Lasagna was tasty and a large portion. I would try again.

Osf is better then any other Italian restaurant in Louisville it's cheaper then bigger chains like olive garden my wife and I enjoyed the full 3 course meal it was very romantic and intimate great staff good service we reserved a table on Google we still had to wait a few minutes when we arrived but everything we ate was amazing 5 star service and food at 3 star prices makes osf one of Louisville best kept secrets. I will add they have weird operating hours. But they offer a app that you can get take out and I think it even offers delivery but I'm not 100% on the delivery.

I researched family friendly restaurants in the area and this came up repeatedly and we had the best time. Cassidy was our server and she was exceptional. She recommended the lobster ravioli for my husband and he loved it. The kids were equally excited to see kids artwork on their dishes and we discussed how cool it would be if more places did this. The entire experience from eating in the trolley, the ambiance, atmosphere, everything was worth our road trip stop.

We got seated very quickly. The hostess was very sweet. Our server Kinsey was great. The atmosphere was very cool. With the train car in the middle of the restaurant and interesting interior. The food was not great. It was mediocre at best. Everything tasted frozen, even the bread. The meatballs had very little flavor. Everything looked better than it tasted.

This place is fancy! We love old houses and buildings and this one pass the criteria. We were ushered to the table inside the train and it was romantic for us. Salad is so yum (I wanna get it again the next time) pasta in Alfredo sauce is delish, as well as the spaghetti. And we ended it up with the yummy ice cream. I wonder if they made the ice cream though. Visit Louisville and try old spaghetti factory!

The aroma that greets you when you walk through the door is HEAVENLY! I came here with my coworkers a few weeks ago around noon on a weekday, not very busy at all. The food and service were excellent and I can’t wait to come back!

So I forgot to take a photo before eating but this was delicious! The portion size was large enough for two people. The meal is a three course meal so it comes with salad and ice cream. The ice cream so very good definitely a nice treat.
